The Neighborhood:

The Northern Quarter in Manchester City Centre is an ever-changing, eclectic neighbourhood full of personality and creativity.



It’s known for its street art, independent spirit, and some of the best cafĂ©s, bars and restaurants in the city — from cheap and cheerful curry houses to trendy eateries, cocktail specialists, tiki bars, whisky lounges, and even a retro-arcade basement bar. Whatever your taste, you’ll find something here. Foodies will be pleased to know that two of Manchester’s Michelin-starred restaurants — Skof and Mana — are both within walking distance.



Just across the road from the apartment is Affleck’s Palace — a legendary emporium of alternative fashion, collectables and independent traders spread across four quirky floors. The area is also packed with record shops (especially for vinyl), comic book and board game stores, vintage clothing boutiques, and one-of-a-kind homeware and gift shops. Roam the streets and you’ll discover something new around every corner.



By day, the Northern Quarter buzzes with coffee shops, creatives and casual shoppers. By night, it transforms into one of the most popular nightlife hubs in the North-West of England, drawing in locals and visitors alike.



You’re also within walking distance of the AO Arena, Co-op Live Arena, Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium, Canal Street, Chinatown, Market Street, the Arndale shopping centre, both Manchester universities, and major transport links including Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria train stations. Old Trafford can be reached easily via Metrolink, and Manchester Airport is just 30 minutes away by train or taxi.

→ Flying?

We are about a 30 minute drive/taxi journey from Manchester Airport. Taxis are available at the Airport Arrivals section (no Ubers allowed at the station) and can be booked in advance from the Airport website.

We recommend taxis as the fastest and best value (~ÂŁ28-30 for a normal car (4 people, 2 large bags) or ÂŁ42-45 for a larger taxi (5-8 people with 4 large bags)).

You can also get the train from the Airport to Manchester Piccadilly Train Station, which takes around 15-25 minutes and costs around ÂŁ3-5 per person.



→ Driving?

We recommend using Park-o-pedia to look up parking options nearby, but we can also help advise where is best to park. Please note there are restrictions on some nearby roads (Buses & taxis only) so please make a note of the road signs when driving through the Northern Quarter. Public car parks nearby starting from ÂŁ9 per 24h.

This property has a 'Minut' safety device which monitors humidity, temperature and noise levels (without recording audio, it reports volume level in decibels).



This apartment does not have an intercom connection the main entrance, but we provide two sets of keys for each booking.



Important: We are committed to protecting our properties so our guests are required to choose between paying a refundable ÂŁ250 security deposit, or a non-refundable damage waiver for ÂŁ35 (the waiver indemnifies you from ÂŁ250 of accidental damages).



Guests are required to complete an online pre-checkin via our partner Enso Connect (or, if you booked before 1/7/25: ChargeAutomation), which includes ID and selfie verification. This enables us to comply with UK law (Immigration (Hotel Records) Order 1972) and details are retained for 12 months. A web link will be sent to you shortly after your booking is confirmed.



Optional Fees:

We offer, subject to availability, for the following supplements:

Early Checkin – 2pm: £50

Early Checkin – 3pm: £25

Late Checkout – 12pm: £50

Late Checkout – 11am: £25



Any other requests that are earlier (for checkin) or later (for checkout) are subject to availability, and further supplements may apply.



The security/damages deposit or waiver and any supplements will be collected via secure card payment through our online pre-checkin through Enso Connect (or for bookings made before 1/7/25: ChargeAutomation).
