Appartement de luxe dans le vieux quartier d'Amboise à proximité de Château et restaurants

Lovingly restauré et rénové à un niveau élevé, l'appartement est situé au premier étage de cette maison de ville du début du 17ème siècle. Les chambres sont lumineuses, spacieuses et aérées avec de grandes fenêtres donnant sur les remparts du Château Royal d'Amboise. Idéalement situé dans le coeur pittoresque de la ville, il est à quelques instants de promener d'excellents restaurants, cafés, boutiques et marchés.

Totalement autonome et indépendant, l'appartement dispose d'un grand salon / salle à manger avec hauts plafonds, cuisine moderne entièrement équipée et 2 chambres, une avec lit king et l'autre avec des lits jumeaux, chacun avec sa propre salle de douche attenante. Tout est préparé prêt pour votre arrivée - les lits sont composés et des serviettes blanches et des articles de toilette sont fournis.

La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec grand réfrigérateur, plaques à induction, lave-vaisselle et machine à laver. Nous avons essayé de combiner les accessoires modernes avec les anciennes fonctionnalités existantes pour offrir une sensation frappante mais chaleureuse! Il y a un wifi gratuit dans toute la propriété, avec télévision et lecteur DVD.

Bien que vous soyez en grande partie autonome, nous pouvons vous fournir, si nécessaire, des croissants et du pain fraîchement préparés, livrés à votre porte chaque matin, pour vous permettre de préparer un petit-déjeuner relaxant sans quitter l'appartement.

Le Château Royal, le Clos Lucé et le Château Gaillard se trouvent facilement accessibles à pied, tandis que Amboise offre la base idéale pour visiter les Châteaux de la Loire et les vignobles locaux. Il est difficile de trouver une meilleure base, car Amboise est parfaitement située au cœur de la vallée de la Loire. Les bijoux principaux sont tous à une distance facile et frappante - Château de Chenonceau, Chambord, Villandry et Chaumont sont tous à proximité. Amboise est également situé sur la piste cyclable de la Loire à Vélo, ce qui offre des possibilités fantastiques pour le cyclisme sans circulation dans la région.

Perfect fall getaway in Loire

Amboise just the right size town for us with lots of things to see and restaurants to satisfy. The apartment close to everything and very quiet at night. Highly recommend this property.

Great family getaway!

This apartment was perfect for our family of 4 to use as a base as we bicycled to chateaux of the Loire. We would highly recommend this as a well-kept quiet family apartment for exploring Amboise and beyond.

FABULOUS property! The location of this apartment is perfect within Amboise! You can easily walk to several shops, restaurants, the Amboise Castle, wine shops, etc.. I was worried that the pictures were not reflecting how the rooms actually were, but I must say that if anything, the rooms were even better than the pictures! It really was the perfect space for my mother, sister and I in the area for a week celebrating mom's 80th birthday. The hosts went above and beyond to create a unique welcome with a gorgeous fresh flower arrangement and birthday signs. Communicating with the hosts was easy and they were very responsive. The apartment itself was the perfect size for the three of us, with two very nice size bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living and kitchen spaces were ideal, and the kitchen had all the tools needed to prepare small meals each day. There's a French press coffee maker, plenty of pots and pans, washing machine and more. Unfortunately for us, we were there during the historic high temperatures (up to 42C or 107F) and the unit does not have air conditioning (as is usual for the area). With the window shutters closed and the curtains drawn, we were able to get through the afternoons! The hosts brought us several fans, so we kept them going and the heat was manageable. Luckily, the mornings were usually very lovely and we'd keep the windows open in the early mornings until the heat rose and that really helped to cool down the rooms. Overall, I highly recommend!!

Great getaway in Amboise

Always responsive to inquiries, Tim and Carolyn were great hosts. The unit had ample room for two traveling couples, good kitchen for breakfast, (we ate out for dinner 😀), and the location was excellent. Would definitely recommend this unit to anyone wanting a nice comfortable stay in Amboise. Thanks Tim for all the starters when we arrived and the great pastries every morning!

Absolutely perfect location both in Amboise (close to the Chateau d’Amboise, a grocery store and restaurants) and for exploring the Loire Valley! Apartment is very well laid out for privacy, even for a family of four, with two separate bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. The kitchen is very well-appointed. The hosts provide the most-thorough and easily followed instructions for both how to get to the apartment, how to access the apartment and options for what to do when staying there. They also provide very clear information about the apartment itself - all of which made the stay very stress-free. Overall an amazing stay and amazing experience!

4 Nights in Amboise

We had a lovely stay in Coté des Remparts. The appartement was spacious, very well equipped and very clean. The location is excellent to discover Amboise as the touristic highlights and many restaurants are on walking distance. There is a free parking on walking distance, which makes it very convenient to discover the wider Loire region by car from this place. The communication with Steven went very smoothly. He was always very quick in his replies and gave good advices. We definitely recommend this appartement!

Lovely apartment, great location

Amboise is a great central location to see Loire chateaux. This apartment is located along the wall of one of them! It has been beautifully remodeled but retains its original charm. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Each bedroom has an en suite bath. The living room is very comfortable. It is on a quiet street, yet just a few blocks from a lively restaurant area. Parking along the river promenade is ample. The landlord’s instructions are excellent and we had no problems throughout our stay.

We could not recommend this charming accommodation highly enough. It was incredibly spacious, secure, quiet, clean and in the best part of town. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and with a Nespresso machine to enjoy. Tim and Steven are excellent hosts, very generous and kind. There is free parking on the doorstep, and amazing views of the chateau from your windows. I have never felt so French!!!!

Great house great location

We loved staying here for 4 days while our group (2 couples) toured the area. Almost everything was perfect. My only minor complaint was the bathroom floor in our room (the one with single large bed) was crumbling apart. The stone was breaking up and little pebbles we always there. There was a rug to cover part of floor but..... that was a minor thing and would not stop me from returning. The fresh bread and croissants every morning were great. Highly recommend as a perfect spot to tour the area.

Wonderful, Quiet and Charming

Tim and Carolyn were very welcoming and very attentive to any requests. The daily morning breakfast basket from the local bakery was such a nice treat. The apartment was very clean, well appointed and comfortable for a family of 4 and the location is unbeatable. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay including a washer for extended visits, but the washer was not a washer/dryer combination unit. There is a large drying rack that is available in the apartment which worked well, but just a tad inconvenient. We had been traveling in Paris and Normandy the week before and definitely appreciated the washer. This is our second trip to Amboise and we would definitely come back since it is such a great location for sight seeing around the Loire Valley. We highly recommend this lovely luxury apartment from Tim and Carolyn. Amboise is such a beautiful city to walk and the residents of Amboise are very welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Great in every way!

Fabulous location, spotless and comfortable. With view of the castle which is across the street . Very quiet street. Charming, well appointed apartment with two full bathrooms and bedrooms. Carolyn and Tim add special touches and could not have been nicer or responsive. They are professionals and know how little touches make a vacation extra special. Would definitely stay there again and will recommend it to anyone who wants to visit beautiful and quaint Amboise.

Amazing location in a great Loire town of Amboise

We stayed in Amboise over the New Years holiday and had such a great time in this amazingly beautiful apartment. Very well appointed with so much charm, it was our favorite stay of all the places on our trip. Two bedrooms and two baths on different sides of the apartment make it very private for two couple traveling together. Tim and Carolyn are SO nice, and having fresh bread/croissants delivered every morning was fantastic! We stayed in on New Years day and cooked in the well appointed kitchen. Amboise is a wonderful central location for any of your wine or castle adventures. We visited Chambord and Chenonceau, but do not miss Amboise Castle too (which you can see from the living room window!!!). There is so much selection for dining in Amboise and quaint streets to wander and shop. There is a small grocery store downtown which makes it convenient for popping out to get more wine and cheese! I am already planning my next trip back.
