Beautiful place to stay. The host Rob, was great with communication and came straight round to sort out an issue we had with the heating.Highly recommend this holiday rental.

My husband and I wanted a peaceful retreat for a long weekend break to celebrate our wedding anniversary and as a break from caring duties from parents. This didn't disappoint!The hosts were very thoughtful and we found flowers and balloons with happy anniversary on when we arrived. Rob greeted us on arrival with his friendly dogs.I did forget to advise on ETA probably because I was very tired from caring duties so apologies.The property and grounds are so lovely and adds to the peaceful environment .We were left milk, cake chocolate and granola which was very generous. Also coffee available.We enjoyed walking the dog around the grounds where the rescue sheep and free range chickens occupied and appeared very content. There is so much to do in the area and we took advantage of both our National Trust and English Heritage memberships to visit Halls castles and old Roman sites We thoroughly enjoyed our short break and can't thank the owners enough for their hospitality. Highly recommended.Thankyou Meryl and Derek 🥂

We have absolutely loved staying at this cottage and could not have hoped for a better experience. The cottage is cosy with four rooms and a fenced front garden (perfect for our dog to sit out and sunbathe) and the hosts are just lovely.The property has beautiful gardens with orchards, chickens and sheep, lot of birdlife for the twitchers. There is a hot tub that you an use for an extra charge, we did not use it but it looks great. The area is very quiet, apart from the animal noises you can't hear a thing. There are lovely pubs, walks and other points of interest.Rob and his family are really friendly and helpful. They provide clean linens etc. every week, gave us some fresh eggs, allowed us to receive post and brought it to us, helped when we had a problem with our car and printed documents for us that we needed.I cannot recommend enough! Wish we could stay longer.

Hartelijk dank voor je recensie. We vonden het geweldig dat je hier verbleef en het was leuk om Dexter weer te zien. Ik ben blij dat je hebt genoten van een ontspannen verblijf in de accommodatie, maar ook van je bezoeken aan nabijgelegen steden en plaatsen; en dat je hebt geprofiteerd van de beschikbare en diverse gastvrijheid die we om ons heen hebben. We hopen je snel weer te zien en hopen dat de reis naar huis goed is verlopen en dat Dexter oké is. Het allerbeste, Rob ____________________________________ Thank you so much for your review.
