Overall we were very happy with Emilia, her husband and their daughter Anna. They were all very helpful, kind and responsive. Mauro the owner, although absent was very responsive and informative. Our only complaint was the stairs, we didn’t realize how many there were. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Regarding the stairs, I appreciate the feedback, though I would like to gently highlight for future guests that we do note the flat is located on the second floor without an elevator in our property description. Because this is a protected historical building in the heart of the Old Town, we are strictly prohibited from making structural changes like adding a lift. We find the climb is usually a small price to pay for such an authentic location, but we do try to ensure all guests are aware of it before booking! It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Italy.

Beautiful, spacious apartment in an excellent location with a great prospect out onto the upper facade of Sta. Teresa. In addition to being very comfortable it also has excellent ("real" as opposed to "lip service") facilities for cooking and dining in, for laundry, etc. etc. Good communication with host (Mauro) and expert and always helpful on-site facilitation by Emilia. Had some troubles with the online pre-checkin system whose instructions were contradictory or just wrong, but Mauro cleared those up before we arrived. Loved Bari and would happily return to this great apartment!

This is a fantastic apartment with a very convenient central location. One night there was loud partying outside of our apartment but that is not the host’s fault. The only unfortunate experience was the communication with the property managers. While the host responded promptly, we were given no information upon check-in by the property managers; just handed the keys and shown how to lock the doors. We waited 20-30 mins to be let into the property. We could find no information about care or details of the property either online or in the apartment. Despite the unfortunate check-in process, I do recommend this bright, large, airy apartment.

I would, however, like to clarify the check-in process for anyone reading. While my team always aims for a seamless welcome, we unfortunately haven't mastered mind-reading just yet. Because we received your arrival details at the absolute last minute, our property managers had to drop everything and sprint across town. Given the lack of notice, getting you inside the apartment within 20 minutes was actually a bit of a minor miracle! Because our team was rushing to get you out of the heat and into the flat as quickly as possible, the usual thorough introduction and orientation details were unfortunately cut short in the haste. We truly appreciate your recommendation, and we would love to welcome you back to Bari. Next time, just give us a little heads-up on your arrival time so we can provide the full, unhurried welcome experience you deserved!

Mauro was amazing to work with, The neighbor met us at the taxi and got us into the apartment and showed us around. He didn’t speak any English but it was fun watching him communicate with us. The apartment is huge we had my brother and sister in law come for a few days it was like having our own apartments . There are lots of stairs to the loft bedrooms but if you can’t get up the stairs there is a pull out sofa in one of the living rooms The dining room is really nice to use with a large dining tables and chairs. The kitchen is modern and very nicely stocked. We were left coffee, and many snacks which was so nice to start with. Just take note there are many stairs to get to the apartment. There is not a microwave to re heat food. No taxis come to the apartment so you have to walk a few blocks to the colleges it’s easy once you figure it out. Other than that it’s really a great place. Near restaurants boardwalk on the water.

Great location in old city center. Emilia and her husband made our stay great, They make a good team, are kind and so helpful, with our luggage and solved any issues immediately. Wifi is good and amenities. Only problem is there is no A/C.

Place is as pictured. Location could not be any better. Located right across from a church so regularly people in the square below if noise is an issue for you. Hosts are right next door and very responsive though they speak little English so communication was primarily through translation apps and was sufficient. If you have a car, parking in the city is a nightmare. You will have to park in a garage and walk luggage over and carry it upstairs.
