Surrounded by traditional taverns and just a short walk from the sea, this comfortable retreat is ideal for couples wishing to immerse themselves in the island's rich culture and atmosphere. Whether exploring the nearby historical landmarks or simply enjoying the authentic character of the Old Town, this lovely nest provides the perfect base for a memorable stay.
Situated on the mezzanine floor of a traditional historic building, the apartment is accessed via two small stairways and is located on a quiet pedestrian street, free from cars and motorbikes. It lies only a few metres from the famous Church of Saint Spyridon, one of Corfu's most important landmarks.
Designed with comfort and practicality in mind, Casa del Vecchio features a well-equipped kitchen and air conditioning. The same open-plan area includes a dining space, coffee maker, TV, and free Wi-Fi. Perfect Old Town Escape

Casa del Vecchio is exactly what we hoped for - small, charming and in the heart of Corfu's old town with wonderful atmosphere. Stepping outside straight into town's narrow streets felt magical. Everything was within walking distance - the tavernas, the sea, and the Liston area.The apartment itself was compact but very well organised and spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable and the air-conditioning worked perfectly in the summer heat. We loved having morning espresso before heading out.Would absolutely stay again.

Good location but the floors felt dusty walking around barefoot, there was no shower curtain so every time we showered we had to clean the floors and we messaged them asking for one but they never answered and the building has a wooden staircase, would’ve been a good heads up to have.

While the exterior of this property is the stuff of Grecian dreams, the interior experience felt more like a nightmare. After scoping this property on foot for days while staying in Old Corfu Town, I had high hopes for my two-night stay. I was disillusioned to note upon check in I faced multiple flights of winding stairs to climb through the sweat lodge of this old building to an upper floor. Difficult to traverse with multiple pieces of luggage in sweltering June heat, it took several trips and a break outside as the heat was intolerable (note: I am a fitness instructor. Physical ability is not an issue, so if I'm struggling, imagine someone with other abilities). I battled with the matrix of doors and keys to gain entrance for over fifteen minutes. Obviously it takes a Ph.D. in door opening to work this one -- frustrating and nerve-wracking. The apartment itself left so much to be desired - hot thick air, mold on baseboards, a constant smell of rotting vinegar, cheap furniture, a thin mattress, irrelevant, useless kitchen space. A complete let down. What was a peaceful oasis during my 7am morning walk turned into one of the busiest corners of Old Corfu Town by 10am with hoards of yelling tour groups scrambling through the tiny passageways below. There was nothing redeeming or romantic in this space; I envisioned two days of sleepless hot nights in this mis-advertised dump. The travel company denied my claims and refused to refund me.

Great location, right in the old town. There is a lovely little bar next door & a place to eat right outside your door which is great! It has a nice chilled vibe in the evenings, then all quiet when they close by 11pm latest.The room itself we thought was basic but clean, very pretty & had a cosy feel to it. The bed is very comfortable so always had a good nights sleep! It also has air conditioning.We were a bit apprehensive as we hadnt used the Vrbo website before, but the communication with the host was great. Would definately use this place again, loved it!
