Mille Founs sits on one of the region's highest points and commands spectacular views for hundreds of miles to the south. Surrounded by rolling countryside and woodland, Mille Founs offers total privacy and relaxation in a unique location. The house is 4km from the charming village of Verfeil-Sur-Seye which has a bakery, bar and village store and about 13km from the medieval town of St Antonin Noble Val with its amazing architecture and renowned Sunday market.

Mille Founs is a sympathetic restoration of an old farmhouse and adjoining barn dating back many centuries, with wonderful original exposed oak beams, chestnut floors and stonework. The three large double bedrooms are arranged over three floors in the farmhouse, while the living areas and kitchen are situated in the spacious, open-plan converted barn with its impressive beamed roof structure.

The house is several minutes’ walk away from the nearest neighbours, offering total seclusion and tranquillity with stunning views. The terrace in front of the house has a table and benches for dining al fresco and a BBQ.

The hill-top private swimming pool (10m x 5m) has Roman steps with a constant depth of 1.3m and benefits from solar heating. There are plenty of parasols and loungers arranged around the pool terrace for total relaxation and sunbathing. Pool toys are also provided for children and the pool area is fenced and gated for safety.

With many trees in the grounds, there are lots of shady spots for guests to sit and enjoy a good book. The extensive grounds and surrounding countryside offer plenty of opportunities for walks and nature lovers will be amazed by the varieties of wild flowers, butterflies and birds which fill this unspoiled corner of France.

We are pleased to provide excellent facilities for infants and children who can enjoy being able to play safely in the fields around the house, collecting flowers and watching insects and having the freedom to run about completely untroubled by traffic or other people.
