It was a lovely stay. I’d love to stay there again.
: I stayed for four nights in mid-March. The location was excellent, with the underground, buses and train stations just a stone’s throw away. It was particularly convenient that the sea and the bus stop for the market were practically right outside the hotel. Although there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, the apartment is situated on a hill, on a quiet street.
The room was newly decorated, stylish, clean and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were excellent (complete with a brand-new dishwashing kit), and tea, coffee, small bottles of olive oil and vinegar, salt and pepper were provided. Lovely terrace. Spacious. Plenty of storage space. Good value for money. Great views from the terrace and the room. Quiet. I’d give the apartment itself 10 out of 10.
Next time, I’d like a room on a higher floor with a balcony. The staff responded quickly to messages (via WhatsApp).
I booked a room with a terrace, but was given a room without one. I contacted the staff but was told a change wasn’t possible. My travel companion had been given a room with a terrace, so she swapped with me and I stayed in the room with a terrace. I recommend checking in advance whether the room matches your booking once you’ve made it.
The room with a terrace itself would have been a 10 out of 10, but as I was given a room that was a downgrade from my booking, I’d give it an 8.
You cannot leave your luggage there.
There is a steep slope from the station to the apartment. If you exit via the church-side exit of the underground station, the slope is relatively gentle.
