36A High Street, Cardigan is a stylish and comfortable three-storey apartment set in a charming period townhouse, right in the heart of Cardigan. Nestled above a small, quiet office, you'll step straight onto the bustling high street, with two fantastic independent cafés - Stwdio 3 & Belotti’s, just across the road. A short 1-2 minute stroll towards the River Teifi brings you to Cardigan Castle and its renowned 1176 Castle Restaurant, or over the road is Mannuccis Italian and a little further down is Pizza Tipi, right on the river front. From the nearby quay, you can embark on a scenic boat trip along the river, out past Cardigan Island, and into the stunning Cardigan Bay.
For entertainment, guests can enjoy free WiFi, a Smart TV, and a selection of books for a relaxed night in.
And best of all - the house is dog friendly too, and there’s no better place to bring a dog on holiday than Cardigan. Inside, 36A Cardigan blends contemporary design with period charm, offering warmth and exceptional comfort. The open-plan kitchen, lounge, and dining area create a welcoming space to relax and unwind. The lounge features plush sofas and a Smart TV, perfect for cozy evenings in, while the dining area has a modern picnic-style table for meals together. The well-equipped kitchen includes everything you need for a stress-free stay, with a fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, hob, toaster, kettle, high chair, and a full range of cookware and utensils. For added convenience, laundry facilities include a washing machine, iron, and ironing board.
The apartment sleeps six adults comfortably, with space for up to seven if traveling with children. Each of the three charming bedrooms retains original wooden floorboards, adding to the home’s character. The two king-size bedrooms feature a beautiful mix of classic and modern furnishings, while the twin room has two single beds and a pull-out trundle bed, perfect for an additional child if needed. The main family bathroom is sleek and modern, with a shower over bath, and there is also a separate WC for convenience. Soft, fresh towels are provided for all guests.

History
In 1093 the Norman Roger de Montgomery established the town and Cardigan castle. In 1176 the rebuilt castle became the site of the first competitive Eisteddfod. From the Middle Ages Cardigan became a major trading port and ship building area and was one of the most important ports of emigration to North America.
Location
Cardigan lies at the southern most point of Ceredigion, West Wales. Flanking the border of North Pembrokeshire. Cardigan lies on the banks of the River Teifi that slowly meanders it’s way to the Poppit Sands and the sea. 12 miles north of Newport Pembrokeshire. 2 miles from the start of The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
