We had a wonderful stay. The house was everything we could have asked for, for our 1 week stay in Oxford. Close to everything, yet in a very quiet area. The view to the canal was a highlight.

This is a fantastic house - immaculate, with every amenity. One of the best VRBO houses we've stayed in. The location is very handy for Oxford - just a ten minute walk into the center of town, easy access for the train and bus station and all of the colleges. We stayed here as 6 adults and loved it. Will definitely return.

This property is owned/managed by a company in Cheltenham, which is about 40 miles from Oxford. There is no one local besides the cleaners. Less than an hour before arrival, I received a text that the cleaners were behind and check-in would be delayed an hour. When I arrived, the cleaners had not even been there. I was very unsatisfied with the communication, which felt like AI. Finally, in the VRBO platform, there is a button to call the owner/host. This button did not work, so there was no way to actually talk to a human, which was incredibly frustrating. All communication was done through the VRBO text feature. The property itself was ok. There is no Nespresso machine or coffee maker, only a French press. There were no dish towels, measuring spoons, or measuring cups. The kitchen was not well-stocked. The back garden was nice, but the lawn needed to be mowed. It's an old house and the floors were very slanted. This was the worst experience I've ever had with an owner/management company/host. I did contact VRBO and felt very supported.

Wonderful place in a perfect location

We had the greatest stay in this beautiful and cozy flat. It is very well equipped and there was good space for everyone. The terrace and garden by the water is amazing where we had the morning coffee, enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and watched the ducks swim by. Would defenitely come again.

Such a cosy home and so quiet in the backyard. Note if you are coming in from train station it is a short walk to the house - we did not know that and got a bit scammed into taking a taxi all the way around the bridge construction issue

We loved this property and our stay there. It was immaculately clean upon arrival, and check-in instructions were clear and timely. The property is clean, light, airy, and well organized. It is quiet and peaceful and yet easily accessible to everything in Oxford. Very easy access to train station, bus station, Christ Church, etc. it looks like the property was recently renovated, and it is very well appointed and decorated. Everything you need! Well laid out. Beautiful garden and little deck by the river and willows. Safe, secure, spacious and well suited for our family of four. We visited Oxford during heat wave in England, and it was stifling in restaurants and taxis, etc. However, this property had high powered fans in each bedroom and downstairs. With the shade by the little river bend, open windows, and fans, we were comfortable. Anyway…This is a fantastic property and I highly recommend without reservation!
