The Folly, Thorpe Forest

The Folly is nestled half a mile into Thorpe forest, set in the middle of a scheduled ancient monument (remains of medieval church and village), situated within the parish of East Harling. The unique and biodiverse location boasts stunning forest views and frequent wildlife sightings. With direct access to Thorpe forest it opens up opportunity for adventures to suit any level of explorer.

Consisting of a living area and downstairs shower room, kitchen with dining table and chairs, a master bedroom with freestanding bath and desk area and a further bedroom with doors opening onto a balcony. The balcony overlooks a water meadow home to a broad range wildlife. The cottage benefits from a private outside seating area which is lit up at night and is the perfect place to enjoy the tranquillity of the forest.

The market town of Thetford is just 10 minutes away, the city of Norwich 40 minutes away, the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds is 25 minutes away, the Norfolk coast just over an hour away and the beautiful coastal town of Southwold is also just over an hour away.

Within a couple of minutes walk of the Forest Holidays site and also Thorpe Woodlands Adventure Centre, guests can benefit from using the onsite facilities including shop, restaurant, bar/cafe and can also book outdoor activities. Further outdoor adventures can be found nearby at High Lodge and also on the Elveden Estate.
