Great stay!

We had a wonderful weekend here. It had something for everyone, was well thought out and a great property for families. Would highly recommend - we are looking at finding another weekend to come back!

Great Weekend at the Lake

My friends and I had an awesome time at the cabin. There is plenty of room for large groups and we really enjoyed the fire pit and the lake views. We would love to come back and stay again next year.

Always an amazing stay

This is our second visit to this home and, as it was before, it was fantastic! The owners are so kind and available for anything you need. The accommodations, location, and amenities can’t be beat. We’ll be back…again!

We had a party of 15 middle aged men stay here for a fun a weekend away. The property and indoor community space is large and easily supported us. We enjoyed swimming from their beach, fishing from the dock, and cooking out from covered area. A perfect location to get away from society, but close to enough to make a run to the store. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Awesome! The owners were super helpful and this location was perfect for our crew of people from 1 to 82 years old! Kids loved the yard and beach front to the lake. Elders loved the chairs and AC. Fantastic.

Family gathering

We stayed in the Fall, so the lake was just a beautiful backdrop. We saw deer at the water’s edge on a foggy morning. This was the perfect spot for a family gathering. Playground and trampoline for the children, plenty of space for everyone to have a room, and a very large private yard for catch and frisbees. The inside was inviting and homey. We would definitely recommend.

Wonderful family weekend at the lake!

The property is absolutely beautiful and the house was the perfect size for our entire family! We rented this property for a long weekend with our kids and grandkids and loved every minute of our time together. The Lindseys are great hosts…communication was excellent and they are so nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to make lifetime family memories at the lake!

Hidden Gem

I can not give this location or its amenities and owners enough praise. The absolute most gorgeous place on Shawnee Lake with every amenity you could need or want. Family of five so we were a little undersized on the overnight amenities but large local family that was able to come visit us without stepping on each other. Thanks for our Christmas miracle ❤️

Awesome Weekend Had By All

We had a awesome weekend. We just finished our 8th weekend reunion, we've done them all over the country. This by far is the best facility. It has something for the whole family. I would highly recommend for any outing, if relaxation is what your looking for. Robert and Janet were vary helpful as hosts.

Excellent and relaxing getaway!

Enjoyed a relaxing weekend with family! The property is better than the pictures with activities for all ages! Very clean and room for everyone. The outdoors are amazing, incredible sunrises, lake is beautiful and a great place for families and friends to gather together!

Family Memories Made

This is a beautiful home and the property is amazing. There is plenty of room to spread out indoors, there are many outdoor activities and the lake is beautiful and relaxing. There were 15 of us in our group, we never felt cramped and everyone had a great time. The owners are very helpful and communication with them was very easy. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing get away.

Peace and Renew

Selecting the perfect place for these surviving young adults is stressful while living several hours away. Janet was wonderful! She allowed me to view the property before renting it, and was always available on her phone when we needed her. Everything in the house was perfectly clean and ready for our group. Plenty of space to sleep several! Enough bathrooms to allow plenty of time for everyone to get ready, and a very well stocked kitchen for any meal you want to prepare. Of course the money making spot is when you open up that back door and step onto the back porch. Anyone can renew their soul in such peaceful spot by the water, and our entire group said it was the best retreat they have ever had. Thank you Janet!

Fun for all ages!

We had a family reunion/graduation celebration at this lake house. Everyone was happy from the kids to the teens to the adults. There was room and activities for all. So glad we were able to find a place for all of us to stay together.

Lovely time reconnecting with friends

Moved away from close friends prior to the pandemic. The Shawnee property provided a relaxing retreat to reconnect with our friends after such a long time apart! The home and property were very clean and well kept, the owners provided all the necessary items and info and were very easy to get in touch with. We highly recommend visiting this property for a family gathering or time with friends! LOTS of sleeping space and room to play and make memories!!
