Cabane du Nid d'Aigle sur la rivière Shenandoah

Eagle's Nest est une toute nouvelle location de vacances construite à cet effet qui vient d'ouvrir en octobre 2017. Il se trouve à proximité de nos cabanes Tree Top, Fish Trap et Green Castle et, comme eux, se trouve également au bord de la rivière, assis au-dessus de la rivière avec un espace propice à la promenade jusqu'au bord de la rivière. Il fait partie d'un lieu de "piège à poisson" de 18 acres utilisé par les anciens Indiens d'Amérique il y a des centaines d'années.

Eagle's Nest est une grande et belle propriété avec un bel extérieur moderne. Planchers de bois franc, appareils électroménagers en acier inoxydable, téléviseurs à écran plat - tout est neuf, luxueux et n'attend que votre plaisir personnel. Les images représentent une partie de la beauté, du design moderne, de la nature et des grands espaces. Jetez un coup d'œil à ceux-ci et buvez le tout!

Quelque chose dont nous sommes particulièrement fiers - Eagle's Nest a été conçu pour les personnes handicapées. Depuis le perron avant jusqu'aux portes plus larges et les douches / éviers à entrée basse, nous avons fait de notre mieux pour accueillir les fauteuils roulants. Il se peut que la maison ne convienne pas à toutes les personnes handicapées - renseignez-vous auprès de vous si vous n’êtes pas sûr -, mais elle a été considérée comme très en avance et intégrée dans la conception.

En termes de taille, Eagle's Nest peut accueillir des groupes plus importants de 10 personnes mais convient également pour un couple ou une petite famille. Il y a trois (3) chambres et deux (2) salles de bain complètes. La troisième chambre est la grande mezzanine que vous voyez dans les images du salon. Il y a une reine et deux lits jumeaux dans cette mezzanine. Les deux chambres principales ont toutes deux des lits queen.

Vous allez aimer votre temps ici. Alors que nous travaillons à l’amélioration, à l’agrandissement et à la croissance de cette propriété, nous poursuivons notre mission: être votre cabine de rivière de choix le week-end. Réservez maintenant avant que vos dates soient partis!

VEUILLEZ NOTER: Les frais de bois de chauffage optionnels de 10 $ / nuit sont pour le bois de chauffage pour le foyer extérieur. (Le foyer intérieur de cette propriété est au gaz.) Si vous pensez ne pas utiliser le bois de chauffage ou si vous souhaitez apporter le vôtre, merci de nous le faire savoir! Nous sommes plus qu'heureux de vous rembourser cela.

De plus, NOTE: Aucune fête, événement ou rassemblement d'invités qui ne sont pas inclus dans la réservation n'est autorisé à Eagle's Nest.

Had a great stay over the Christmas holiday! Beautiful cabin that is exactly as described. Fire pit was nice, and the views and sunrises can’t be beat. Living room needs some lamps/better lighting. And the cabin needs new pots and pans. But those are minor issues in comparison to what a wonderful time we had. We will definitely be returning to Fish Trap Village!

We spent our Family Thanksgiving in the house. We had family members stay next door in Tree Top as well. Our family is spread from NC to MD and we decided to meet in the middle in Va. It was a great stay.

Nice Cabin

First of all, I booked the wrong week and after I realized the mistake I called the rental service and they were super accommodating & adjusted to the correct week. The cabin itself is pretty nice / overlooking the river however, it is not super clear from the listing how far away from the river it is (its about a 5 story staircase) and access to the river is not a place that is enjoyable to hangout but there is direct river access (with canoes!).The cabin itself is clean but the furniture is a bit old and bathroom mats leave something to be desired. Overall however it is pretty clean and it has all the things you need to cook dinner and enjoy your stay.Solid listing albeit a tad overpriced (if I were to book again, I would have booked the cabin directly on the river). Comms and host were mega easy to deal with / which gets a gold star.

Terrific, Quiet Retreat

We were only in town for a couple days for a wedding, and this cabin was the perfect setup for us. We traveled with an older relative who was easily able to get in and out of the cabin and really appreciated having everything on the first floor. Everything was very comfortable, the cabin was extremely clean, and the host was very helpful and accommodating. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone with family and friends of all ages, as it seemed there was plenty to keep kids entertained, too.

Nice view, not so clean

Hot tub was not cleaned before our stay, smelled like mildew and had chunks of dirt at the bottom. Loads of cobwebs on outdoor chairs, table, etc. Bed linens and towels also smelled.

Quiet, spacious cabin

My wife and I were looking for a quiet, cabin weekend getaway with our dog. This cabin delivered. Great overlook of the river which you can hear from the deck and when your windows are open. Great spacious, well-stocked kitchen and the wall of windows facing the river let in a ton of natural light. Our favorite activity was bird watching with our binoculars on the back deck with our morning coffee. Super relaxing, quiet weekend. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Peaceful Holiday Getaway

We felt so relaxed staying at Eagle’s Nest Cabin. Highlights were the soothing sounds of the river; the lovely views; and the clean accommodations that had everything we needed. This location was a convenient starting point for Luray and other caverns and Shenandoah NP. We also enjoyed just staying in and enjoying the peace and quiet all around us. We would definitely stay here again!

Annual moms trip perfection

Perfect quiet get away for 7 friends looking to reconnect. The water was beautiful and we loved being able to set up our large tube for an anchored float right off the launch. Sat in the screened in porch and watched a storm blow over then soaked in the hot tub. Overall just a perfect trip.

Great fishing base camp

We spent the weekend celebrating my brother's 50th birthday. We used the cabin as our base camp and fished a few miles up the river. Plenty of fish were caught and a good time was had. The fishing right below the cabin was pretty good as well. The cabin was perfect and provided everything we needed.

We had an amazing weekend here! House was clean and spacious, and had everything we needed for a smooth and fun stay. Highly, HIGHLY recommend! Just got home and am already thinking of when I could go back.

Beautiful Cozy Cabin

I stayed at Eagles Nest for the weekend with my family (5 people) and we had such an amazing time. The property was absolutely beautiful, cozy, quiet, and private with great amenities such as canoes for us to use, a hot tub, grill, fire pit (with fire wood included), a screened in porch, deck, access to the river for boating and fishing, and so much more. The property was clean and spacious and felt cabin-like with the wildlife decor inside which I loved and had gorgeous views of the Shenandoah river. We had such a great time and didn't want to leave! We will definitely be visiting again!

Incredible views and an incredible house

Honestly everything about Eagle's Nest was amazing. We have been coming down to the Shenandoah Valley since 2005 and this is by far one of the best houses that we have stayed in. The house/linens were clean, kitchen was well stocked, and the views were mesmerizing. The entire property and surrounding houses within the community all look very well cared for. Communication with owner/management was very easy and timely. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for opening your home to us.

A wonderful property for family of 8 to spend Christmas holidays.

Our family of 8 adults, 1 teenager and 2 small dogs spent 3 nights after Christmas at Eagle's Nest. It is our family tradition. We have been renting cabins in Luray around Christmas for 20+ years. We always choose a different cabin, having only stayed in the same cabin one time, until now. We will definitely be booking Eagle's Nest again. We had an amazing time! The cabin has incredible views from all rooms! It was very clean. Everything worked properly. We did not have to reach out to the owners or house manager for anything. We had plenty of room. It was nice that the hot tub was under cover so that we could still enjoy it while raining. The deck with the river and mountains (in the distance) behind was great for family photos. Our only complaint was that we had to leave.
