Bright, Spacious central 2 bedroom flat in quiet area yet close to the centre of Edinburgh. Great place to rest and relax after a full day of festival activity. 25 min walk to princes st, 5 min on the bus.
Next to shops and supermarkets and Holyrood park and Arthur Seat.
Area with lively cafes and food shops and green parks.
Flat consists of 2 double bedrooms, one with enquire shower and toilet room, large Living room, fully equipped kitchen and Full bathroom with bath and shower. In street parking available outside courtyard.

In nice quiet area near to supermarket and not too far away from central Edinburgh. It was a 15 minute walk from the flat to the bottom of the Royal Mile. Had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. Our host was very helpful and also replied to messages really promptly. We loved being in Edinburgh during the festival and would use Vrbo to find another property for future trips

The listing for this property said there were three beds (two in the bedrooms and a sleeper couch, however the couch could not be converted into a bed. The showers and floors were not really that clean. The beds in bedrooms were a little small for two people. The location was good for getting into the center of town with good coffee shops and grocery stores near by.

Hello Barry Thank you for your feedback, the flat was cleaned before your arrival. Apologies ifbtgere was something missed. Tge flat has 2 beds, one is a doublevtge other is a kingsize. The sofa sleeps one person straigth but not a sofa bed. Had you let us know and communicated better (never had a reply to any of my messages) we could have placed a sofa bed in the living room as we had before with previous guests. You booked the flat for 3 guests, I m assuming you were honest and only 3 people stayed, therefore the 2 beds (1 being a king) should have been sufficient. If you wished to sleep separately you could have checked or requested it vefore or on the day of arrival.

The place was extremely rundown and not well maintained. It was not as clean as it should be. The freezer had leftover fish in it that stunk, the bed sheets did not appear to have been laundered after the previous rental, and the floors creaked badly. The loud noise of the birds in the early hours of the morning was terrible. I would not stay here or recommend this place to anyone. The one positive was the location fairly close to the market and city centre.

Hello Emmanuel Thank you for your mixed review. A coupke of things i would like to point out in a guest/Host relation; We clean the house after every guest stay, including washing all linen and providing all clean sheets and towels. We do not control wildlife outside the flat, we encourage it, birds nest and live around tge city and sometimes nest on roofs at certain times of tge year. We are mot here to remove them. We are nature lovers and have seen enough of that. I will keep a closer look to leftovers in the freezer as tbis is not usually used in shorter stays and all guests should remove their rubbish and bins once leaving as per house rules (this didnt completely happen in your stay either). On house rules, a huge one for us is to lock the door behind you ( again, not happened) and leave the keys secure and locked in box, you left yhem hanging outside the box dangling for everyone to see. We re usually patient and allow everyone a fault or 2, and even though i will not change my rating on you, I find important this episodes are shared for future hosts to consider. Hopefully you will be back one day and apreciate the nature this city and country have to offer.

The accommodations were nice and the beds were comfortable.The Host did not respond in a timely manner to numerous communications on the VRBO siteand never fixed the issue of a room heater that could not be turned down.

I have shown you into the flat in person, and have shown you how to operate the heating in person. There was no communication or issues raised after your check in otherwise we would have fixed anything. We enjoyed our stay! Was lovely to come back to a nice warm and cozy apartment after a cold day in the city. Felt like staying at a friend’s house, the beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. Absolutely fantastic location, bus stop was around the corner, very quiet, and walking distance from a grocery store. Only sticking point is the apartment could use a good deep clean. We did find it to be surface level clean, so it wasn’t too big of a concern. However, it needed a proper cleaning.Overall we really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it!

We like the place. The only issue we have is thw heating. The heating does not work well. Not sure if it is the time settings but the apartment generally cold.

We had a great stay at this Edinburgh flat and would recommend it to others visiting the city. The location was excellent, close to shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and with easy access to transportation. It was a convenient walk into the city centre and within walking distance of many of Edinburgh's key attractions.The flat itself was spacious and very comfortable for our stay. Having two separate bedrooms and two washrooms was ideal, and the kitchen was well stocked which was a great bonus for preparing meals and enjoying a more home-like experience.Bruno was very responsive and quick to address the issues we experienced with the plumbing and hot water. Communication was excellent, and he made every effort to help resolve things promptly.The flat was clean overall, although it would benefit from a more thorough deep clean in some areas. We did experience some issues with hot water availability in one of the washrooms and in the kitchen, which was inconvenient at times.Despite these minor issues, the location, space, layout, and responsiveness of the host made this a very enjoyable stay. We would recommend this property for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable base while exploring Edinburgh.
