Sparkly clean - Would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was brand new so sparkly clean. The kitchen was impressively kitted out and easy to use. The hot tub was amazing - our 4 kids loved it too! And the pool at the country club was a big hit. It was about a 25 min drive into the centre of Cambridge. Would definitely stay again.

Surprisingly great place to stay

The location was excellent, being close to Cambridge and also able to use the facilities at the Country Club. The lodge was clean and spacious and very good value. More cutlery, crockery and glassware (as there were six of us staying and not enough glasses or cups). Also 6 dining room chairs would have been better than 5. There was also no corkscrew or bottle-opener.

Great stay, we’ve rebooked for the same time next year!

We had a lovely time staying in this beautiful, clean, new lodge. The use of the country club facilities was an exciting perk that we made the most of. Outstanding quality and good value for money. In an ideal world, there’d have been more towels provided, but they sorted that quickly once I asked. A great stay - and we’ve rebooked for the same time next year: not sure we can leave a better review than committing to become repeat customers!!!

Incredible

I stayed at the Cambridge Luxury Lodge for 11 nights and it was like home from home. The Lodge was immaculate and so spacious, the wrap around decking opened up the space even more. All appliances and furnishing were literally brand new and easy to understand. The surrounding areas were perfect and quiet for me (whilst working nights) and with the use of the Country Club made the stay even better. The onsite Gym and pool were incredible with a fantastic pub about 10 minutes away in Madingley that was serves amazing food. Its a shame the lodge books up so quickly otherwise i'd stay there 24/7

Great place to stay

This is a great place to stay, new and comfortable. The location is excellent, with outdoor decking overlooking a pond and trees. Tremendous facilities - at the property is a hot tub and huge bbq, and it is only a couple of minutes walk to a very well equipped gym and a 15m swimming pool with sauna and steam room, with membership included with the stay. Also a restaurant and bar in the same place. Lots to do in the local area, as it is close to Cambridge but also such things as Wimpole Hall National Trust.

Almost perfect.

After lodging in hotels for work for the past year it was nice to not be confined to a single room. The lodge is a perfect size, very light with a good view. All the appliances were brand new and easy to use. The living area is comfortable and spacious and with the wrap around decking to open up the space even more. It was very clean and all in all a perfect lodge and with the free use of the gym, it was fantastic. Unfortunately where the bedrooms are located you do get a lot of road noise and when I stayed I did get stuck behind a few delivery Lorry’s for quite some time as they unloaded for the house being built as it’s a single track road (only a temporary thing until it’s finished). None of the small points above would stop me from staying again, I would book it in a heartbeat. The WiFi is terrible, very weak and drops out quite regularly. The bed pillows are far too soft, I had to use 3 to get any support. There’s no instructions for the heating. When I got there it was set to 25°c and was extremely hot at night. The hot tub could do with emptying and cleaning as there was a strange smell and a bit of debris at the bottom.

Excellent stay

Excellent stay, really good value for money and great to be able to use Cambridge Country Clubs spa and pool. Check in could have been simpler as there’s multiple companies involved, but we got in!
