Chalet confortable mais spacieuse au Mt. Mitchell terrain de golf

Cette cabine confortable offre tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour une grande vacances ou long week-end dans le plus beau endroits imaginables. Il est situé dans le Mt. Communauté Mitchell terrain de golf à la base du mont Mitchell, le plus élevé à l'est du Mississippi. Octobre Hill est juste en face de la rue de la 14e fairway et à quelques centaines de verges de la riviÚre South Toe.

L'emplacement est trĂšs privĂ©, mais Ă©galement pratique pour tout ce que vous pourriez souhaiter dans les montagnes. Le terrain de golf est Ă©valuĂ© 4-1 / 2 Ă©toiles par le Golf Digest et vous ne trouverez pas un plus beau parcours. Le Blue Ridge Parkway, sentiers pĂ©destres, pĂȘche Ă  la truite, des tubes, le vĂ©lo, et bien sĂ»r, le golf spectaculaire sont tous Ă  quelques minutes.

Octobre Hill est 3 niveaux, avec une chambre et salle de bain complÚte à chaque niveau. L'immense salle familiale a planchers de bois franc, une cheminée en pierre avec des bûches à gaz, de 25 pieds plafond et beaucoup de verre voûtée pour profiter des belles vues. Une grande terrasse entoure la cabine pour manger dehors et relaxant. Deux barbecues au charbon sont fournis. Il ya beaucoup de places de parking et un garage pouvant accueillir 2 voitures.

Notre emplacement est trĂšs proche du terrain de golf et club-house, Ă  20 minutes Ă  Burnsville, Ă  5 minutes de la Blue Ridge Parkway et 1 heure Ă  Asheville.

Octobre Hill a été nommé pour notre Bed & Breakfast à Waynesville. Lorsque nous avons vendu le B & B, nous voulions garder le nom, alors quand nous avons acquis notre maison de chalet de montagne, il est devenu Octobre Hill.

What an experience! For sleeping six, the place is very comfortable. Each bedroom is on a different floor with its own bathroom. Gorgeous location and great accommodations. Everything we needed was already there done to charcoal. Highly recommended for folk with dogs, great place for beautiful morning walks. Very close to a beautiful waterfall (5 min), and a 2 minute walk to a nearby stream that our pups really enjoyed!

Our stay was great but the cabin was extremely dusty everywhere.. the doors, the curtains, the closet doors and windows. There was also a few bugs around the house but I can’t blame that on anyone but the surrounding. The towels and sheets also smelled very old, like they’ve been stored for a long time. Other than that, we made the best out of our stay.

nice cabin in the mountains

Enjoyed our stay at the cabin, cabin was beautiful and felt homey. home was clean overall, kitchen was dated but worked well for us, decks around the house allow for outside enjoyment and fresh air. it is about 25-30 minutes from Burnsville with stores and eateries and such, downtown Burnsville is great. there is 1 room upstairs, 1 master room entry lv, and 1 room ground lv which had 2 twin beds (laundry room area and exit to outside located adjacent to this room. we only utilized the 2 rooms on upper lvs to sleep, (honestly our kids were a little spooked by that room and stayed in the master king bed with us. The communication with owner was great they were very responsive and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would rent here again.

Amazingly Beautiful!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at your Chalet! October Hill is everything as described and more! Making Thanksgiving dinner for my husband and daughter in this kitchen was amazing! Everything you and your family could need and so much more! A few steps from the river, beautiful view and comfortable clean location. We could not be happier with your home and the entire stay! We will be planning to come back soon!

Perfect Mountain Location

Near the Blue Ridge Parkway, waterfalls, hiking trails, and mountain summits. A very cozy home-away-from-home. Not luxurious, but very comfortable and homey. (This property would not be a good match for those who may struggle with steep stairs. Otherwise, it is great for all.) We hope to visit again.

Great place, close to hiking trails

Roger’s October Hill is a step back in time with lovely antiques and very comfortable furnishings. We really liked that each bedroom had their own bathroom. A well appointed kitchen was a nice touch. We were hiking Mt Mitchell and the proximity to the trailhead was a reason we chose this place.I highly recommend staying here, especially in the fall! It’s beautiful.

Stay at Mt Mitchell

Enjoyed our stay and our time at the property. With the dehumidifier running the downstairs was rather noisy and it wasn't as inviting as we had hoped. Overall the stay was very nice and it met our expectations.

Wedding, Golf, and Mountain Tours

This was a wonderful place for us to use as home base for a 3 day mini vacation. We attended a wedding held at a beautiful venue, played golf at Mt. Mitchell Golf Club, and visited Mt. Mitchell summit and Little Switzerland. The chalet had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the space was great for 5 people and our dog. Lovely surroundings and peaceful setting. T Day in the Mountains

Warm and comfortable with everything needed to feel at home. Nice walk close by, great gas fireplace, near the Parkway, Mt Mitchel and Asheville for your exploration. Wi-Fi was great, not expected.

Great spot, agreeable owner.

Lovely home near the Mt. Mitchell golf course, which was the starting line for my ultramarathon. Good house for families, really appreciated the eye-and-hook locks for the porch gates with our three-year old. Owner was responsive and agreeable with special requests.

The outdoor deck was very nice. The house smelled very musty when we first arrived but aired out with windows and doors open. Needs brighter light bulbs, new shower heads and non-slip pads for the upstairs and downstairs tiny showers. Beautiful setting in the trees.

Felt Like Home

This cabin has an ideal layout for friends, couples, or families; with a bedroom and bathroom on all 3 levels - there was privacy when needed, yet the large living room and dining room were great places for us all to hang out. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, and there were even spray air fresheners in multiple rooms. You cannot see/hear the golf course or neighbors during the Summer, and it was easy to get to trails and waterfalls nearby. We loved our stay!

Perfect cabin

We had a great time in the cabin during our 5 day stay in mt Mitchell. House was clean and as described except for the TVs. They are upgraded to flat screen HD TVs. You can get to the south toe river crossing the golf course. We visited various scenic areas including mt Mitchell, little Switzerland and couple of gem mines in the emerald city. There is a nice waterfall right at the entrance to the community.

Nice Getaway

We really enjoyed the chalet, it was comfortable and pet friendly, which is a plus since we like to take our dog with us when we go to the mountains. The only issue is that if you want to access the river, you need to ask someone across the street if you can cut through their property to gain access. Also, we had to pack our trash out, and the local facility was closed on Sunday, so we were left transporting our garbage home.

Disappointed.

Misleading description, no view but woods, not cleaned well, old house smell, construction materials in front. We all think it was not ready for rental. Please upgrade, most importantly the cleaning!!

Overall a great place to stay!

Exactly as it is pictured, on very wooded lot. Clean and beds are comfy. Love that the deck is fenced and latched so the doggies can run around and we didn't have to worry about them getting out.

Lovely chalet

Great long weekend in this lovely chalet. Had a few questions and Roger responded in a timely manner. House was comfortable for the 3 of us plus a small dog. The master bedroom and one upstairs had tall beds. Vertically challenged people like myself might need an additional step to make getting in and out of the beds easier. We did find a small stool in the kitchen for my mom to use. We loved the porch, but the weather didn't cooperate for us to be out there as much as we wanted. Firepit area was nicely done, but it was too wet to use this trip.
