Cette suite est approvisionnée avec tous vos besoins de vie, y compris dans la buanderie de la suite, et vous offrira un séjour confortable, propre et paisible pendant que vous vous détendez ou explorez aux portes de la nature. Profitez de votre balcon privé pour le petit déjeuner ou un happy hour l'après-midi donnant sur le jardin où vous pourrez également observer la faune et la flore diverses.

Il y a un accès facile à l'historique Galloping Goose Trail ainsi qu'aux nombreuses superbes plages océaniques et sentiers du parc du parc régional Witty's Lagoon, du Dévonien, de Tower Point, du parc East Sooke et du parc régional du lac Matheson.

A peaceful haven

We would highly recommend this home away site for a peaceful haven. It is clean, spacious and has all the amenities one could desire. And it is quiet, located in a lovely rural setting. We enjoyed it and would return in a heartbeat.

A Hidden Treasure

An amazing suite in a quiet, beautiful country setting. Loved staying here and it quickly became our home away from home while visiting family in the area. The hosts, Wayne and Myrna were very friendly and accommodating and helped to make our visit very enjoyable. Looking forward to a return stay during our next visit to Langford.

2 Weeks+ at Metchosin

Loved staying here. Great spot for cycling the west end of the Galloping Goose (though you might want to haul your bike down the hill). Very peaceful and quiet—except for the frogs at night! Great Hosts!

Excellent accomodations, great hosts!

Great apartment, well furnished, clean, nicely equipped kitchen and a wonderful couple who host. We found the location convenient for hiking, biking and nearby shopping but out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Hosts Myrna and Wayne were very accommodating. Within an easy walk to the Galloping Goose trail. We would definitely stay here again and hope to do so at some point in the future. Keep in mind this is a second floor apartment so if you have difficulty with stairs it is not for you. Otherwise, wonderful..among the best we have chosen in various parts of the world. Extremely quiet and peaceful.

A Country Retreat

The property is located in a countryside location which is very quiet, especially at night. Yet it is close to all the main attractions. The property is very well appointed with all that is needed for self-catering. Modern and very clean with excellent hosts. The owners live at the property but completely respected our privacy. I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is one of the nicest.

Tranquil Getaway

Having stayed all over Vancouver Island, this area is my favorite spot. It's rural but not too far from downtown Victoria. Perfect if you want to visit beaches and hike the trails in Sooke. This rental is clean, quiet and spacious. Wayne and Myrna are lovely hosts.

The accommodations were above and beyond description in VRBO. Loved everything about the apartment, and area. So peaceful and relaxing. And only 10 min drive to shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend this place.

Quiet and comfortable

My wife and I spend quite a bit of time in Victoria but we have never stayed in the Metchosin area. We were looking at spending a week and we didn’t have a lot of options for places to stay. Myrna and Wayne’s listing popped up and we liked what we saw. The property looked very clean and had all the amenities we required. The check in was very simple as was the check out. The property was exactly as it was pictured on line and was very comfortable. It was very quiet at all times and had many resident deer and bunnies (wild ones). It’s also very close to the Galloping Goose Trail, Whitty’s Lagoon, Matheson Lake and Thetis Lake...all great places to go for a walk or hike. Metchosin also has some great eating spots and a farmers market on Sundays. Wayne and Myrna are great hosts and we would certainly stay here again. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Die Wohnung ist noch schöner, als im Netz abgebildet: Idyllische und ruhig in der Natur und trotzdem verkehrsgünstig gelegen, wobei ein Auto sinnvoll ist. We loved it!

The suite is located in a beautiful acreage setting, surrounded by trees. We saw a family of deer playing on the lawn one evening, could see the stars in the sky clearly at night and we had everything we needed and more in the suite. It was very peaceful and quiet. There are numerous beaches, sandy and rocky nearby, with all shopping and theatre amenities only 10min away. The property is well maintained and the owners are generously kind and easy to access for questions. The suite is modern, spacious, immaculately clean and fresh, with lovely decor. It is exactly as shown in the photo. The kitchen has the cookery and utensils to prepare and serve full meals. Extra touches such as games, books, extra blankets, onsite washer and dryer, light blocking drapery in the bedroom make for a restful and enjoyable stay. We flew to Victoria and rented a vehicle, it was nice to not have to bring extra kitchen items or entertainment for my 7 and 11 yr old daughters by plane. Coming from living in a busy city, my daughters loved to be able to run around outside and have adventures looking at nature. We can't wait to go again!

Perfect Getaway

The Suite was beautiful, the property was beautiful-saw deer and bunnies daily and listened to frogs at night. Perfect location to explore a variety of areas of Vancouver Island. Myrna was so sweet and made the whole process from check in to check out smooth!! She offered great restaurant tips, bike trails, even offered ice for my knee after learning about an accident I was in earlier! We loved it!! Hope to be back!! Thanks!!

Cozy-comfortable hometel

Our little family of 3, had a short, but incredible stay! We were in town for a wedding being held at Cordova Bay and we decided to stay out of the hustle-and-bustle of Victoria. This little Metchosin getaway was everything we were looking for. Quiet serene area close walking paths and the ocean, and not too far out of Victoria. During the little bit of down time we had, we were able to visit Witty’s Lagoon, which was a recommendation in the Guest Info book that Myrna and Wayne keep in the studio apartment. This book had great information in it. Otherwise we may have never known to visit Witty’s. We really loved the little studio. It’s very cozy-comfortable. The bed is AMAZINGLY comfortable. There is an abundance of towels, which is a major plus and there was a fruit and snack bowl with chocolates, which was a nice touch. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is strategically placed within arms reach. It was exactly as described in the listing and MORE! Our 5 year old daughter, called it our “home-hotel” because it really did feel like home. We have dubbed it the “hometel”. She enjoyed colouring/drawing at the kitchen table and loved spotting all the wild life that came through the yard. Myrna and Wayne are great hosts. They made sure to check-in with us via e-mail to ensure we were comfortable. We are already planning a trip back to the island next year and would definitely stay here again, if available. Best VRBO/HomeStay we have rented by far!

Herrliches Appartment in wunderbarer Umgebung

Das Appartment ist gemütlich und gut eingerichtet, die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit. Die Lage in bewaldeter Hügellandschaft ist sehr gefällig. Nach Victoria sind es nur ca.25 km. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch in der Nähe vorhanden. Wir würden jederzeit erneut diese Unterkunft buchen und sie auch unseren besten Freunden empfehlen.

Wonderfull stay in a lovely apartment in wonderfull nature with deer, flowers and hummingbirds.

After a long trip from Seattle to Vancouver Island we arrived at the end of the day in this very comfortable appartment from Myrna and Wayne. Surprisingly, there was fresh fruit which was very welcome for the next morning as breakfast! It was such a nice stay in this clean and tastefully decorated apartment with a small balcony where we sat in the sunshine and shadow, enjoying the beautifull view; we regularly spotted deer in the gardens. The apartment is light and very comfortable with full kitchen equipment, beautifull art, and a comfortable bed and bathroom. Surprisingly we had also our own laundry inside which we thankfully used after staying 2 weeks in the USA. Myrna and Wayne are lovely, very hospitable and helpful people and gave us advise about shopping, dining and sightseeing. We sometimes had our own diner at home by shopping food in a supermarket or we several times dined in the nearby restaurant My Chosen Café, a very popular place with lovely food! After one week we said goodbye by sharing a glass of wine together, realising that we would have like to stay longer.

Loved our stay

This little apartment is so cute and on a beautiful country estate. Myrna and her family are welcoming, warm and so so caring setting me and my family up with everything we could have needed. They made themselves available, but I also felt no obligation to check-in, free to come and go as I needed. I would recommend this adorable little place for anyone wanting to escape the city, look at the stars and ogle the resident deer!

We are retired teachers who enjoy spending time on our property, especially with our children and grandchildren. We love to travel and have seen many parts of the world. We are active members of the Victoria Regional Pickleball Association and Metchosin Pickleball Club. You'll see some evidence of Myrna's quilting passion and sewing skills in the suite as well.

We loved this property the minute we saw it. It was raw land and felt like we were in a beautiful park. We had so much fun designing and building our house, then later doing the landscaping and gardens.

We love the rural atmosphere of Metchosin on a quiet cul de sac, yet still close to all amenities. The 2 acres affords us privacy and a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city in a beautiful parklike setting. And we have our own pickleball court on the property.
