Characterful property tastefully decoratedand more spacious than expected, Excellent kitchen equipment and utensils. Dog friendly garden.Challenge parking with 2 cars !Shall certainly return.

We had two dogs on board and the cottage was ideal for them, with a decent well-fenced garden and good walks from the front door.

We had a lovely stay at Wren cottage, it was the perfect base for exploring Hastings at the surrounding area. Quiet, very nice garden, log burner and firewood was a lovely touch. Lou was very communicative in the run up to our stay.

Wren cottage was a lovely cosy little cottage in a country setting .We found it well equipped and spotlessly clean.We think a railing might help alongside the back entrance for somrone elderly to grab but that was a minor issue.Lou gave us some good recommendations which we followed up.Would love to return.Particularly nice having handwritten welcome

Wren Cottage was very clean and comfortable. A little more dated than the pictures implied. Sofas could have done with more cushions to make them more comfy. Single beds not comfortable for an adult. Disappointed that the garden was not secure for a dog, as listed as dog friendly.One boundary had many gaps and dog was able to get into neighbour's garden on several occasions, which they were not very happy about.Contacted the owner to flag this up, and she suggested we use a tether provided to tie the dog up. Don't think this makes it a dog friendly property.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m pleased you found Wren Cottage clean and comfortable. The photographs were taken around a year ago. Wren Cottage welcomes dogs, however the garden is not advertised as enclosed. Following this summer’s extreme heat, some gaps may have developed in the hedging. The professional long lead provided is one I also use with my own dog. Apolgies the garden did not meet your expectations.
