The Playhouse arts centre, theatre, and cinema are nearby, along with a famous secondhand bookstore perfect for coffee breaks. Alnwick Castle and Gardens is only 0.5 miles away, featuring attractive planting, water cascades, and a unique Poison Garden, plus a treehouse restaurant. Alnmouth is 5 miles away, offering a sandy beach, golf course, and village shops and eateries. Other nearby attractions include Howick Hall Gardens (6 miles), Craster Harbour (7 miles) with its coastal path to Dunstanburgh Castle, and Warkworth Castle (7 miles). This spacious home accommodates up to 12 people and welcomes up to three dogs, making it ideal for multi-generational families and friends seeking comfortable holiday accommodation.

An adjacent utility/boot room houses a fridge/freezer, washing machine, and storage for bikes and walking gear. The ground floor also includes a WC and a spacious king-size bedroom with open hanging space, a comfortable armchair, and a wood burner. The first floor offers a lounge with wood flooring, an original ornamental fireplace, a Smart TV, a Bluetooth speaker, books, and games, plus three large sofas. Two bedrooms are also on this level: a double with an en-suite shower room and French doors to the garden, and a bunk bedroom. A family bathroom with a bath and a shower attachment completes this floor. The second floor features three king-size bedrooms, one with a sleigh-style bed and skylights, with two sharing a Jack and Jill shower room, plus an additional shower room on the landing.


The enclosed rear garden features three levels, each with bench seating, perfect for relaxing outdoors and a charcoal BBQ provides options for those warmer months. The outside space is accessible from the kitchen via stone steps and from the first-floor garden bedroom.
