Tucked away in a peaceful spot in the heart of Kirkcudbright, this lovingly restored, traditional cottage provides the perfect base for couples and families to explore South West Scotland and stunning coastal landscapes. Set amidst beautiful coastal countryside, the harbour town of Kirkcudbright enjoys a sheltered position in the estuary of the River Dee on the north Solway shore. Known as the Artistâs Town, there are wonderful local galleries to explore, including Kirkcudbright Gallery and Kirkcudbright Harbour Cottage Gallery, both reached within half a mile of the doorstep. Enjoy panoramic views of the Galloway Hills and the Dee Estuary at the 18-hole Kirkcudbright Golf Club a mile away or enjoy the taste of the local area amongst Kirkcudbrightâs excellent selection of local pubs, cafes and restaurants. Soak up the maritime atmosphere strolling through Kirkcudbright Marina (0.5 miles), losing yourself in the sights and sounds of bobbing fishing boats.
