We are Linda and James, owners of Barton Court, a Georgian country estate with more than 250 years of history that we fell in love with at first sight. We have spent years restoring it with the aim of creating a place where friends and families could gather, celebrate and feel completely at home. We live on the estate and personally look after each stay, ensuring that everything is comfortable, welcoming and easy from the moment you arrive. Many of our guests travel from overseas, and we’re always happy to help with planning—whether it’s local recommendations, arranging a private chef, or simply offering guidance on the best day trips. For us, Barton Court is more than a beautiful house.
