Under the Gondola - Moose View Suite, Dog Friendly! # VHR-13-03

La propriĂ©tĂ© est situĂ©e juste sous la tĂ©lĂ©cabine sur la piste de ski. Notre escalier arriĂšre chauffĂ© vous mĂšne de la maison pour traverser la rue et faire du ski / randonnĂ©e / vĂ©lo jusqu'au pied de la montagne. ski / randonnĂ©e / vĂ©lo-in est tout aussi simple. Nous sommes amis des chiens et des enfants. (dĂ©solĂ©, pas de chats) CECI EST UNE MAISON NON FUMEUR avec Internet sans fil partout. Il y a une buanderie sur place pour nos clients. Notre suite avec vue sur l'orignal est assez spacieuse, idĂ©ale pour les chiens et les enfants! La table Ă  manger peut accueillir 6 personnes, avec un coin cuisine avec cafetiĂšre, rĂ©frigĂ©rateur et lave-vaisselle, mais pas de four / cuisiniĂšre. Il y a un grand gril Ă  gaz Ă  l'extĂ©rieur sur une passerelle couverte, qui a un brĂ»leur de poĂȘle attachĂ©, pour des options de cuisson supplĂ©mentaires. Des casseroles et poĂȘles ainsi que des ustensiles de gril sont fournis. Le salon dispose d'une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat et d'un lecteur DVD Blue-ray. Avec un lit king dans la chambre, un lit queen escamotable et un canapĂ©-lit gigogne dans le salon, c'est une excellente option pour une famille de 4 ou 5 personnes. Bien que nous vivions toute l'annĂ©e dans la section principale de la maison, Moose View a une entrĂ©e privĂ©e.

Nous vivons dans la partie principale de la maison, offrant 5 suites privĂ©es pour la location Ă  la nuit / Ă  la semaine. (Il n'y a pas d'espace de vie partagĂ©.) Un cadre parfait pour un voyage multi-famille, voyageant ensemble mais ayant chacun une suite privĂ©e et une salle de bain. Nous acceptons les animaux Ă  vapeur. c et extrĂȘmement accueillant pour les chiens. Il y a une cour clĂŽturĂ©e commune entourant nos suites d'hĂŽtes. Actuellement, l'aĂ©roport HDN de Steamboat / Hayden, United, propose un service sans escale vers Houston et Denver. L'hiver apporte beaucoup plus de vols sans escale, y compris le nouveau service Jet Blue de Boston et de Californie!
Descendez les escaliers arriÚre et traversez la rue pour skier dans et hors sur une piste d'accÚs damée à la zone de base. Il s'agit d'un tarif de 250 $ par nuit avec un forfait de 30 $ par animal de compagnie, plus les taxes.

Convenient and pet friendly ski stay

This is our second stay here and both times we found our rooms clean and comfortable and all our needs met. It’s conveniently close to just cross the road then ski down to the gondola.

Great holiday vacation

Stayed here with my family and had a great time. Robin the host is really great and helpful. Location is very convenient, quick walk to slope. Allows dogs and has enclosed area in back to let them out. Would highly recommend.

This condo was perfect for our family vacation over Christmas break. Convenient ski on and ski off location. We were able to bring our dogs which was also a really great treat. Condo was clean and even better than pictures.

The Moose View condo is fantastic. More space than you'd think for a one bedroom. And a nice little covered patio out the back with a fenced grass area for the doggies. Wonderful in every way. Highly recommend! We'll be back.

Great spot for a weekend in Steamboat. Nice suite with everything you need, and Robin the host was wonderful. She greeted us when we arrived and showed us around and even helped us out with some supplies we needed during our stay.

Great accommodations.

This was exactly as advertised. Very clean. Nicely appointed and comfortable. Our pup loved it. It was ‘almost’ ski in/ski out. With steps, and being on the side of the ski mountain, it’s going to be best for people who enjoy walking. A really nice feature is that the steps to the condo are heated so no worries about slipping.

The best!

We LOVE staying at Robin’s! The house is easy to access and has everything you might need for a long weekend stay! Plus - dog friendly is key for us and it’s perfect for the dogs. We loved the Moose View suite and we’ll definitely be back.

Another Wonderful Stay

We love Steamboat and love staying at Under The Gondola. Robin is such a great person and makes everything perfect. Our dogs love it too as they constantly meet new friends of likeminded dog owners. A truly great property all around.

Just WOW!

We have stayed in dozens of VRBO accommodations for more than 20 years. In most cases, they have been good experiences and of course, there have been a few that were dicey to say the least. Also, in most cases, the pictures on the VRBO website are often nicer than the accommodations. But - in this case, the pictures did not do justice to the Moose View Suite! It was sparkling clean - tremendous care was given to each and every detail of the suite. The appointments are top notch - from the the appliances to the bed and bath linens, and to all the wonderful and thoughtful items in the efficiency kitchen. The decor is simple, elegant and the home casually comfortable. Every detail was meticulously and purposefully attended to. The suite is large enough for entertaining; we had our dear friends over for dinners...The outdoor space, with the sitting area under the twinkle-lit pergola complemented by a lovely firepit, allowed us and our dogs to relax and enjoy the sweeping views of valley of Steamboat Springs. Evening drinks with our friends, and our morning coffee were especially tasty because of the environment. Our pups enjoyed our stay was much as we did - the fenced patio and small grassy area was safe and clean. Of particular note was the warmth and hospitality of our host, Robin. Thanks, Robin, we will definitely be returning!

My second stay and just as great as the first. The communication was on-point, the suite impeccably cleaned, and my puppy in heaven out in the yard. The suites parking spot was well marked, good size, and easy to get into. The unit was so bright and airy - it was the perfect spot for me to work remotely (while wishing I was skiing). Thankfully, when I was ready to ski it was literally a walk across the street, skis on and I was off. Big yard for the dog - completely fenced with gates & latches. With a fridge, microwave, gas grill and dishwasher I was able to cook my meals with no issue. Definitely the best option for anyone with a pet (or even without - it was such a great location and comfortable!).

Great condo! We needed dog friendly and that is what we got! What a great place to spend time with family and friends and have your dog their too! Easy access to the base area. Robin was very easy to work with and always replied to my emails before we arrived. We will definitely be back!

Convenient and roomy

We enjoyed a two-night stay here and would definitely stay here again when in Steamboat. Dog friendly for a small fee with plenty of secure space for your dog to run around. Heated floors in the bedroom were a nice touch. Host is nearby and very responsive.

Great place! Everything we needed. Hot water boiler for making grits and tea. The grill worked well for out expresso maker we bring, and for eggs on the grits. Easy walk to the slopes. Amazing bathroom! We had a great time!

Just Perfect

Robyn greeted us upon arrival of their beautiful home, showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. The Moose View was incredibly clean and cozy for the two of us and our dog. The kitchen is very well equipped and we especially appreciated the coffee grinder. The view from the living room is classic Steamboat and the added feature of a fireplace makes it that much more special. Two sinks in the beautiful bathroom with luxury towels was an added bonus. The king size bed was super comfy and having a slider to the fenced in back yard was perfect! The yard was awesome with a covered walkway and beautiful sitting area to enjoy the view. If you are there to ski and why wouldn’t you be?! Getting to the gondola is incredibly easy and extremely convenient! We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Worn out, foul smell: left early and will not return

Upon leaving I saw Robin, the owner, and shared the following feedback face to face with her. She apologized that we felt this way and wished me luck. I am disappointed that she did not offer any remedy or resolution. We will not return and we do not recommend this property. Upon arrival at 3:30, we found 2+ bushels of prior tenants dirty laundry piled up in the entrance. It remained there during our stay, and we had to walk by it to get to our unit. Upon walking into our unit, we were hit with a foul, locker-room smell mixed with bleach. We opened windows and turned on fans to get relief; they stayed open during our stay despite sub 10 degree temperatures. The paint, sofa, carpets, duvet, bed pillows and towels were all old, worn and dingy. We found hairs on the bed linens and bath towels. We slept on top of towels (brought from home) on top of the duvet and we left the next day after skiing to avoid staying there another night. The trip was my Christmas gift to my boyfriend who loved the ski-in location and enjoyed skiing. We cancelled our dinner reservation and plans to go two-stepping (for the first time) to avoid staying another night; we left immediately after skiing 1 day.
