Jolie cabane dans les montagnes et sur la rivière (privée)

Venez vous joindre à nous pour une escapade à distance sur la rivière Kiamichi. Ceci est une cabine privée. À environ 7 miles au nord-est de Clayton, OK et à 5 miles du Capitole de la nation indienne de Choctaw se trouve notre magnifique cabane nichée dans certaines des collines les plus pittoresques de l'Oklahoma. Amenez toute votre famille ou amenez simplement votre partenaire. Les deux options sont d'excellents choix! Nos enfants adorent cet endroit. Il y a beaucoup à voir et à faire dans ce domaine. Sardes, le lac Nanih Waiyah et les lacs Clayton sont tous à moins de 16 km et les promenades en montagne vous laisseront dans l'incrédulité que ce n'est qu'à trois heures de Dallas. La cabine est très confortable et a tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Si vous nous visitez, vous aurez la propriété et la cabine pour vous tout seul. Les enfants adoreront la cabane dans les arbres.

Il y a des caméras de jeu sur la propriété.

C'est une escapade idéale que ce soit romantique ou pour toute la famille. Il y a beaucoup à faire (et pas ici). La cabine a une terrasse sur trois côtés, un gril, un foyer, un porche grillagé, un réfrigérateur, une cuisinière, un four à micro-ondes, une salle de bain complète et 2 lits queen-size. La propriété a 112 acres. La randonnée, la pêche, le kayak (vous apportez) et la détente valent tous le détour. Ne fait rien du tout!

Si vous amenez les enfants poser des questions sur certains modules complémentaires tels que; Tir à la carabine, tir à l'arc, équitation, etc.

Great get away!!

Great place to bring the dogs and enjoy the outdoors. Nothing fancy here but it was perfect As long as the host is kind enough to share with us, we will for sure return.

Nice getaway from the hustle and bustle

I really enjoyed how tucked away this cabin was. The mountains, cows next door, and amazing view of the stars were such a breath of fresh air and a much needed break from the bright lights and roar of the city.

Weekend Getaway

Took our grandkids for a weekend vacation. They loved it. Did some fishing and swimming at the state park. The cabin was perfect for us. We loved the isolation of the cabin and the open spaces. Had a great time.

Beautiful and serene

We had a great few days! Wish it could have been longer. Everything very clean and accommodation was excellent! Ty Mr Thompson for having it there for people to enjoy. Went hiking enjoyed beautiful scenery, would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Labor Day Weekend

This property had some great updates. They have added a back patio with a cut for a fire, even had logs in it. I love to come here and so does my family. Loved waking up to deer in the front yard.

Cabin was nice, has everything needed for a comfortable stay. My only disappointment was distance from the cabin to the river, when booking I thought it was much closer. Overall a good stay, will plan to return in the fall or winter when temperatures are much lower than 100 + degrees.

Choctaw Labor Day

We had a wonderful time. The porches were perfect to sit on and enjoy the cooler weather. The kitchen had everything we needed. I have been to other cabins that didn’t half of the basic, making my stay even better. My other half and I can’t wait to go back.

Relaxing . . . Just what I wanted!

From Richard's welcoming email, to check-in & all during my stay, I couldn't have been more pleased. The charming cabin was clean, comfortable & had everything I needed. Even with the record heat in the area, it was super cool inside thanks to 2 air conditioners! Add in the fast internet service & streaming on a good size, well placed tv & I could have happily passed the weekend inside on the comfortable leather sofa. But outdoors beckons you at this nature filled property & I enjoyed exploring as much as I could. The river is an easy walk & made for a welcome & refreshing swim. Couldn't have had a better experience & I certainly plan to visit again! Thanks Richard - your cabin gave me just what I was looking for.

Our Getaway

Property was nice and secluded. We could not find the lake on the property. Figured out where it was at the end of our trip, but you had to wade through knee deep water and could not carry things down to the lake with the wagon we brought. There were many wasps in the screened porch that we had to continuously kill. Even though we wore our rubber boots and used mosquito spray, 2 of the 3 of us got chiggers on our legs. It was very peaceful at night and everything we needed to cook with was provided. Would have preferred the TV be in the living room. Overall good trip but was disappointed to not have been able to get to the lake which was our biggest draw to the property.

The cabin is NOT close to the river. We were there in a pickup truck and it didn’t seem safe to drive the truck down to river. There was a meadow with high grass/weeds that you have to drive through. A 4x4 is a must to drive down to the river. It’s too far to drag/carry a kayak. Fortunately there is a lake nearby that is an easy launch. The cabin was quiet and had everything you would need to grill, cook etc. the steps to the loft are very steep and narrow. Use caution!! An adult cannot stand up in the loft, you have to crouch down a bit to walk around up there. The shower ceiling is very low. I don’t think my 6 foot tall spouse would be able to use the shower. Likely not typical of a usual visit however, when we arrived, the toilet was leaking water on floor. We could not turn off the valve under toilet. Someone came out to repair it. Leak stopped but the toilet would randomly run and it was a worry that it would leak again. I’d give this rental a 3 1/2 if the toilet issue was resolved. I have stayed at other properties in the area that were better.

Looking for somewhere quite

This was perfect for the 4 of us. Still trying to be energetic in our late 50’s and tackle nature walks fishing a little climbing here and there all included on site. Along with Very Small town charm, (medication and ammo in same store) river and beautiful lakes and scenery in less than 30 min drive. Late evening card games with our most fierce rivals and life long friends, Tons of stories by moonlight and sun rises over the top of mountains. EXACTLEY what we wanted and needed.

Awesome country cabin

Nice location. A ways out there but not too far. Lots of property to explore. For me one of the best things is the VERY loud evening nature sounds of cicadas, katydids, frogs, owls, and a ton of other sounds that I'm not sure what they were. Cabin has everything I needed.

Nice Cabin sitting on a huge plot of land to explore.

We selected this property for the location and availability, as we needed to be in the Clayton area for the weekend. Outside of a quick walk to the river, we did not spend much time at the property, however had the purpose of the trip been outdoor recreation this is a perfect choice.

Great getaway

Cabin was very clean and well maintained. Richard was polite and very easy to talk with. Property was beautiful and the walk to the river is recommended. The Choctaw Nation Capital is not very far away and is worth a visit. Clayton is a small town but has pretty much everything you need to get you through your stay. We will be coming back with the kids and bringing the kayaks for the river. Definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent Getaway!

My husband and pups loved our stay here. Private, beautiful views, close proximity to the river, and a cute cabin as well. Our dogs loved the open space to run, and there is a screened in porch with a picnic table to enjoy meals. Will definitely be back!
