Surrounded by water, Leverburgh is known as a fishing port and the village boasts a number of fantastic cafes and restaurants and just outside the village is Sam’s Seafood Shack which offers a delicious selection of locally caught fish and seafood. While you are in Leverburgh you can stock up on essentials at Harris Community shop and there is even a store selling local tweed, Borrisdale Tweed. Nearby attractions include the dramatic coastline at Bagh Steinigidh and Nisabost beach, the North Harris Eagle Observatory at Meavaig and woodland walks at Ardvourlie Woodland.
