Just minutes away, Sunderland city centre is full of things to see, do, and eat. You can spend the day exploring cultural spots like the National Glass Centre and Winter Gardens, then wander through High Street West where many of the city’s best restaurants and bars are found. From laid-back brunch spots and independent coffee shops to lively places serving bold flavours, Italian classics, and modern British dishes, there’s something for every taste. In the evenings, the city comes alive with cosy pubs, cocktail bars, and live music venues, including performances at The Fire Station and shows at the Empire Theatre.

Other Things to Note:

- NO SMOKING INSIDE: We kindly request that smoking be avoided inside the premises. Any indication of smoking will incur a fee of £300 for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.



- We do require a separate short term rental agreement to be signed directly with us and a pre-arrival form filled prior to your stay.



- LOST KEYS: If keys are lost, a £100 replacement fee is required.



At Vacant Nests, we’re dedicated to ensuring our property is protected throughout every guest stay. To provide peace of mind for both owners and guests, we require all guests to either have a £400 fully refundable security deposit hold placed on their account or purchase a £40 one-time Accidental Damage Waiver, which covers up to £500 of accidental damage during the stay.
