There are multiple glazed doors that open out onto the charming and spacious walled garden, and a perfect patio for alfresco dining or sundowners.

This stylish countryside retreat is perfect for those who value beauty, comfort and design. Each of the three bedrooms is thoughtfully appointed, with VI-Spring mattresses, high thread count linens and spa-style en-suite bathrooms that echo the calm of the Somerset landscape.

A modern, country style kitchen, with a flagstone floor is equipped with wine storage, a capacious pantry, coffee machine and state of the art Bora induction hob with in-built extractor for enthusiastic cooks. The central island is clad in a verdant granite and connects to an elevated dining room designed for unhurried, candlelit meals. There is a conveniently placed door that opens out onto the garden from the kitchen.

The triple aspect living room is imbued with Jo Berryman’s signature touch. A vaulted ceiling, with exposed timber and refurbished parquet floor, frame the colourful textures, warm hues, generous velvet sofas and objet d'arts. French doors open out onto a private walled garden. There is a large T.V for all round family entertainment, a wood burner and a well stocked bookshelf and games cupboard for inevitable rainy day amusement. Art is placed thoughtfully in key spaces and will no doubt trigger a conversation or two. The Old Stables champions a handful of local artists who graciously display their works at the property.

There is an impressive weights gym in the garage too, so you can keep up with all your wellness protocols.
