Modern designed barn house at Eksta coast

On the beautiful west coast of Gotland lies this architect-designed barn from 2021, where modern design solutions meet traditional Gotlandic building style. The large windows create a natural transition between inside and outside, while you enjoy the view of the Gotland nature.



The heart of the house is the social areas with a modern kitchen with a kitchen island and a large dining table that naturally becomes a gathering place. The four bedrooms are strategically placed at the ends of the house for optimal privacy, with room for up to eight people. Natural materials such as wood paneling and soft-sanded concrete floors create a harmonious atmosphere.



The generous terrace becomes a natural extension of the accommodation with a large dining table and two different barbecue options - an exclusive Vermgrill with a griddle and a classic spherical grill. Here you can gather for long dinners during the summer evenings.



From the house you have walking distance to the beach with views of the Karlsöarna and fantastic sunsets. Visit the nearby Djupviks Hotell with its famous restaurant, have an ice cream at the harbor or shop for locally produced vegetables at Käbbe Gård. The Oak Coast Nature Reserve offers beautiful walks along the coast.
