Holiday home in coastal nature with turf roof

This vacation home is a time capsule from the 1970s, preserved in its original style and deliberately low-key. The thatched roof gives the place character, and because the house is sheltered from the west wind, it’s almost always calm—while still offering unobstructed views of the surrounding nature.



The kitchen, dining area, and living room are combined into one open space. The house has three bedrooms with room for six guests. Everything has been kept in the style in which it was built—the tranquility and simplicity that characterize the place are no accident.



Outside, there is both a covered terrace with gas heaters and a sun terrace, so you can follow the sun all day long. The North Sea landscape extends right up to the terrace, and the natural grounds provide plenty of space for play.



The bunkers down the road are great fun for kids and curious adults—and there’s also Trail 100 and an MTB trail at the Gateway. Løkken is always worth a visit, especially the brewery, and in Blokhus there’s often great entertainment. Fårup Sommerland is 10 minutes away.
