Cottage rural Cotswold dans les jardins de la belle maison Nell

Le Cottage à Nell House est une belle conversion à ossature de chêne pour 4 personnes dans deux chambres. Il est situé à la lisière du petit village de campagne paisible de Hannington, dans les Cotswolds du Sud, où les comtés de Wiltshire, Gloucestershire et Oxfordshire se rencontrent. Le village a un "pub" à distance de marche et est une base idéale pour explorer les Cotswolds dans votre voiture. Il se trouve à 90 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport d'Heathrow.

Le chalet dispose d'un salon avec cuisine américaine au rez-de-chaussée, avec une cuisine bien équipée avec lave-vaisselle et four micro-ondes, et un coin salon avec deux canapés et une grande télévision. Il y a une chambre double au rez-de-chaussée ainsi que des toilettes et une salle de douche. L'étage entier à l'étage est une chambre double en-suite avec coin salon séparé, canapé et TV. L'escalier est ouvert au rez-de-chaussée.

Le chalet se trouve dans le parc paysager de Nell House, avec une grande terrasse, un barbecue à gaz et des sièges en plein air pour 4 personnes. Il surplombe le lac et est entouré d'animaux sauvages comme les poules d'eau, les canards, les poissons et si vous êtes un cerf porte-bonheur et un martin-pêcheur.

Il y a de vastes terrains, y compris une pelouse de croquet et des champs avec des animaux de ferme.

A must stay experience.This property met all the requirements and criteria that is transmitted in all of the advertising and wha is promised of the promotional material.For us this was our last stop for a week before heading back home from a five week holiday experience,Trip coving all over Europe.Our stay had days of rest and relaxation and central enough for full dat tours .Our hosts were magnificent from the get go with instructions etc through to just deadset fairdinkum lovely people .

We had a wonderful stay at Nell Cottage in the Cotswolds and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. They struck the perfect balance of being chatty and approachable while also giving us the space to enjoy our stay. The accommodation was an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds, with easy access to all the places we wanted to visit. Everything was comfortable, well-maintained, and made us feel right at home. Our little boy loved all the animals, Jo took the time to talk to him about them and even let him feed them. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely return. Thank you James & Jo for helping make our trip so memorable!

Cute cottage in great location

This cute cottage provided everything we needed for a very enjoyable 5 night stay. Situated in the lovely and quiet grounds of the owners main property who were very engaging and helpful but not intrusive. Great location to enjoy so many beautiful areas of the Cotswolds/Wiltshire.

Wonderful house and area

We, and especially our kids, enjoyed the stay in the Nell House Cottage. Everything was very well organized. Our girls loved the animals and the location is good to have day trips to the Cotswolds, Oxford or Stonehenge.

Exactly what we were looking for for our stay in the Cotswolds. This house is situated so beautifully and perfectly we absolutely loved our one-week stay and I was very sad to leave. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was clean and fresh, The bathrooms and kitchen were modern and functioned well, and the owners are the kind of people you want to be best friends with. They gave us a list of nearby places to visit and each location was well worth it. There are animals (horses, sheep, ducks) on the property that only add to its charm. The pond out front is picturesque and I spent hours watching all the wildlife--mostly birds--while painting. The location of Nell House is on the edge of the Cotswolds and provides a lot of flexibility. From here, we could easily access the heart of the Cotswolds, the Downs and Salisbury, the West over to Bath, or north-east toward Stratford upon Avon. It's only a short train ride into London if needed. We would go out of our way to stay here again.

Amazing country cottage

We loved our stay at Nell Cottage. Beautiful setting, so tranquil and relaxing. James and Joanna were perfect hosts. Loved watching the ducks and other animals. Gorgeous gardens. Cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great week long stay - day tripping in all directions. Great central spot to visit both Cotswolds and Salisbury Plain! Hosts were great. We were the first guests of the season and so were the test run. No big issues. Had a great time, Jo and James were great hosts

More than phantastic

It was a very peaceful and wonderful time in Nell house with very gentle hosts. They helped us with words and deeds. The cottage was so cosy and clean. The pictures in the Internet were so fine but the reality outranged the pictures. The scene was very idyllic, so it was hard to go away. And we love the horses and the ducks.

Relaxing country cottage

Nell cottage is set in rural England a short drive from Swindon and a stones throw from the stunning Cotswolds. The cottage is set in the most stunning grounds and overlooks a large pond which has bird life a plenty, The family who run it are lovely they are helpful and respect your privacy. Their communication with guests is superb. The cottage was clean and had all the facilities required to make yourself comfortable. Including, a fridge, microwave, oven, cutlery and crockery, towels and bedding. They also provide super fast wifi. We stayed a week before returning to Australia and the peaceful surroundings gave us chance to unwind before our long flight home. If you love peace and tranquility and enjoy watching Indian runner ducks and horses, and close proximity to the stunning Cotswolds this is the place for you. + 1st, the hosts: Jo and James, they are nice, likeable and obliging at anytime. Jo, who we met most, had a lot hints for activities and worthwhile destinations. Thank you very much for lending your house to us for a wonderful time. + the house and the property: A nice little oak house on a wonderfully beautiful property. Everything needed for holiday is in place. We felt exceedingly well. + region around Additionally to Jo's very helpful hints we had a perfect home base to starting our day trips to different destinations into the cotswolds and beyond. + weather sunshine and rain are fine and are necessary. Around 90% rain this autumn didn't make holidays constantly a feast. So, Jo and James, please work on that ;), so that we can enjoy a bit more next time to everything mentioned above. Un cottage qui a beaucoup de charme

Après une journée de visite et de marche dans les Costwolds, c'était un véritable plaisir de se retrouver à Nell House. La beauté du jardin, la grande clarté et l'aménagement avec goût du cottage le rendent très agréable quel que soit le temps anglais ! Le cottage est impeccable. En bois, il se trouve juste à côté de la maison des propriétaires, Jo et James avec leur deux petites filles qui sont disponibles et chaleureux. Nous étions 2 adultes et 2 adolescents pour une semaine Hannigton est une bonne base de départ pour découvrir les Costwolds, Bath, Oxford, StoneHenge, Salisbury, Gloucester, Blenheim. Beaucoup de sites entre 1h00 et 1h30 de voiture ou moins. Pour les pointilleux : Il convient de faire attention à ne pas se cogner dans l'escalier quand on est grand (1m80). De même l'étage étant en soupente, il faut se pencher pour passer la porte de la salle de bain du haut et faire attention lorsque l'on se relève après avoir mis le smartphone en charge. On prend vite le pli. La pièce du haut n'est pas fermée : pas de porte, l'escalier arrive directement dans la pièce. Cela participe du charme de cette grande pièce très agréable. En contrepartie, il n'y a pas d'isolation sonore avec la salle au rez de chaussée. Les matelas, plutôt mous, n'ont pas fait l'unanimité entre nous 4 (comme souvent).

Our absolute happy place in Wiltshire! – A true gem in HanningtonAbsolutely everything was wonderful here! It started with the fantastic location on the beautiful grounds of Nell House, which is home to horses, ducks, and sheep. A real highlight was the Indian Runner ducks greeting us on the patio every single morning while we had breakfast right by the beautifully landscaped pond.Since our grandchildren live nearby, we were able to pick them up from nursery every day and bring them over to the cottage for a few hours. They felt so at home around the ducks and horses, and inside the cottage itself. The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and family-friendly, which made our stay even more special.The cottage is beautiful, incredibly cozy, and furnished with so much love and attention to detail. It wanted for nothing, and they even provided books and games to keep the children entertained.We have truly found our happy place close to our kids and grandkids whenever we visit from Germany and will definitely be back many more times! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Lovely country cottage

Directions and arrival instructions were accurate and easy to follow. The cottage is well appointed and spacious. Access to the upstairs bathroom is a little restricted but not a significant problem. As mentioned in the owners description, transport is required as there is nothing in the immediate area. However this means it's a lovely quiet countryside environment. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and the lovely area.
