This is the 2nd year our group has been to this lovely home and we’ve already reserved our 3rd year. It’s very well appointed. No a/c but many fans. We love taking our beach chairs down and sitting in the river. Our trip highlight is tubing the AuSable River. We love that Hinchman Acres will pick us up and drop us off right at the house. Allows us to enjoy cocktails on the river and still get home safely. The homeowner is fantastic to work with and very responsive.

Absolutely wonderful property. It clean, organized, and a great spot for a group of people. The location was perfect for the river float down the Au Sable and very comfortable to stay in. We definitely hope to come back.

The river house was the perfect location for our family retreat celebrating the life of our mother.

Phenomenal place to relax and/or recreate on the Ausable River. Our family spent most of our time on the deck and in the dining room eating and telling stories. We also spent some time on the river and had a campfire one night. I hope we have an opportunity to stay there again.

Awesome place for a getaway!

Awesome cabin on the river! All the amenities you need with access to the river. Super close to Hinchman Canoe rental and on the 4.5 hour float you pass by the house about halfway. Would recommend to anyone looking for a weekend away!

Yet another stay for our group at The River House. Everything is clean and wonderfully kept. The house is huge and the beds are comfortable. They have everything you need here for a wonderful time away. We couldn't recommend it higher!
