Relax and enjoy the back yard stream and fire pit. So much to do. Access to some of the best ATV / hiking trails in Michigan. Enjoy breathtaking views and go Kayaking/tubing in the Au Sable river just 3 minutes away. Prime hunting and fishing. You’ll make memories!

The cabin was super cute, clean and comfy, perfect for a little getaway. Check in was easy and the host was super helpful when needed.

As usual, everything at the cabin was perfect! There was even a perfect little Christmas tree lit for us when we arrived Christmas evening.

Everything was great, it snowed a lot and our dog had a blast in the snow, cabin was very cold heaters work good but just not good enough but we loved our stay cabin is cute and cozy and we love the creek running thru the back. One suggestion would be to have more towels. Beds were comfy and everything was in working order thank you!

What a cozy, charming place. Everything we needed was there, the hosts were easy to communicate with. It was beautiful, peaceful and we had a lot of fun. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend staying here. It's a magical little place. My husband and I laughed a lot. It was a great weekend!

We can’t thank our hosts Mark and Dawn enough for sharing their piece of heaven with us. The quietness of the cabin along with the sound of a flowing stream is exactly what was needed for my husband and I. Although our stay was short; we returned home feeling refreshed and at peace.

We stayed here in the cabin for a week 8/10-8/17.We always look to book a summer vacation away north of where we live, typically in a campground, but wanted to try something different this time and we came across Mark and Dawn’s beautiful property. This gives you the exact vibes of what camping feels like with extra amenities—we were able to try new things—float down the Au-Sable, go to an Amish bakery, visit one of our favorites Higgins Lake, and many other things on our visit!If you’re looking for a nice and peaceful piece of tranquility of a vacation you will not be disappointed. We had everything we needed on our trip—Mark and Dawn were very responsive and even gave some suggestions on local things to check out which was super appreciated since we were out of towners.Thank you again!!

Amazing

Went on a weekend trip with my two sons, 8 and 21. We all loved the cabin. My eldest Loved sitting by the creek on the chair that hangs over it. My youngest loved the hammock, and was happy the TV had YouTube. The location of the cabin is close to some great attractions and trails/lakes.

Anniversary Weekend

A Stream Runs Through It is an absolutely beautiful cabin in a gorgeous location. The cabin was clean, had all the amenities listed, which was more than we needed, super cozy, and adorable. The outdoor space is amazing with the stream, and the fire pit, chairs, and many other extras, such as a tripod to cook on, a grill, a swing over the stream! It’s close to town, but you still feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. You are right by the road, but you don’t really notice it. My husband and I are already planning future trips!

Great little property!

This cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway. Everything was clean when we arrived and check in instructions were clear. Very charming decor and some great features around the home. The owners have clearly put a lot of consideration into making it as comfortable and welcoming as possible. I received prompt responses to all of my inquiries. The kids had a blast exploring the property, especially the small stream. We will most definitely consider another visit in the future!

Wonderful stay

Such a peaceful stay, the water running through the property is so peaceful, the trails for the side by side are very nice and smooth and can cover some ground in a hurry. We will definitely look for this place to stay next time we’re in the area! Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Nice Country Getaway

This cabin was perfect for a country retreat with nearby restaurants and plenty of places to visit. Everything you need is supplied and nice little touches throughout.

Cute little cabin.

This is a cute little cabin near the Au Sable River. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had some minor issues with the hot water and the AC/ heating unit but the owner was great to communicate with and appreciated me letting him know. We have stayed in both of their cabins and had a great time visiting family each time.

Relaxing and Rustic

If you are looking for a small rustic cabin, this place is great. The outside space is phenomenal. Creek is gorgeous and just out side the bedroom window. It's also close to trails and town.
