The cabin is just wonderful and very clean. It is far enough away but yet close enough to enjoy things to do. The beds were very comfortable as was the rest of the cabin. We loved it!

Wedding vacay

We came to Young Harris for a wedding. We added a couple of days to our trip to go explore the area. The cabin was absolutely perfect....all the amenities of home and gorgeous views, great neighbors. Hope to to visit again.

Great view and close to a lot of hiking trails

It was easy to get to and the check in process was easy and the house was clean. The view was absolutely awesome. I would sit on the porch in the morning with my coffee and watch a beautiful sunrise. The owner was wonderful. I will very much go back to this rental.

Weekend Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is just as described in the listing. It was clean and everything worked as it should. The property owner was always quick to respond with any questions we had before we arrived. Once there, we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a place in the area.

Amazing View and All the Comforts of Home

Blackbeary Cabin was a wonderful setting for our family vacation. The cabin has a beautiful view from the back porch. There was plenty of seating for our family of 6 to gather around the table and in the living room. The cabin has a well-stocked kitchen, and the beds are soft. We were only a short drive from many beautiful hikes and restaurants. My youngest daughter said it best, the morning after we returned home, "I miss the cabin!"

Great vacation!

We stayed at this cabin for two weeks. The location is great for Young Harris, Hiawassee and Blairsville. 10 minutes to Lake Chatuge, vineyards and other outdoor activities. The bed was very comfortable, water pressure great and this was the cleanest cabin. There was no trace of any bugs, which I realize is very rare, thank you for your diligence! The view here is a wonderful way to start and end your day! We will definitely try to stay here in the future.

Second time even better!

This was our second 2 week stay at this cabin, and we loved it even more this time. The cabin is in such a good location, drive 30 minutes in any direction and you can be somewhere wonderful, daily. We took advantage of this, visiting distilleries, wineries, small towns, hiking, farmer's markets and of course Lake Chatuge. This cabin has plenty of room for a large family and is comfortable. The beds are great, we slept very well. The kitchen is well equipped and has plenty of cutlery, dishes, pots and pans and extras. Most of all we love the everchanging view from the back porch! Thanks, Jeff, for this wonderful cabin. We'll be back, again, for sure!

Nice cabin-would stay here again

This cabin is well kept and nice. We enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen is well stocked except there are no dishes that you can use in the oven except for a pizza stone. It worked well for us because we had not planned on cooking much but if you planned to do much cooking some Pyrex dishes or metal baking dishes would be needed. The beds are all comfy but I would not advise putting light sleepers in the downstairs because the floor is a little creaky which is pretty common for multi levels but it worked well that my daughter and son-in-law were not light sleepers since that was where they slept. These are just for info..not really negatives becuase I would definitely stay here again.

Catching up with old friends.

Good location, a lot of things to see and do close by, and the town has every kind of store and restaurant you need. The owner was easy to work with and answered all questions in a timely manner. My husband walked our dog down the hill and to the back of the property several times, he enjoyed discovering the old rock walls where the property had once been terraced for gardening many years ago. We saw several deer from the front porch, squirrels, and two Pileated Woodpeckers that came through every day around dusk. The view was beautiful, some mornings the mountain and valley were covered in fog, while others offered us a sunrise that made the mountain look like it was on fire...neither was a disappointment. All in all we had a lovely week catching up with old friends.

Fantastic Home

We really enjoyed our stay at the Blackbeary Cabin. There were many thoughtful touches—even though this time it was just the two of us, we really appreciated that each bedroom has a king sized bed. This way no one feels left out if it is rented by multiple couples. We also made good use of the kitchen and appreciated the variety of cookware. Additionally, I was very impressed with the supply of dish towels and cleaning supplies—it made keeping things tidy a breeze. Of course our trip wasn’t about sleeping and cleaning, though! There are plenty of fun games downstairs. The sofas upstairs are very comfortable and homey. The view from the back part of the deck is beautiful and we felt rested and rejuvenated from our stay. I would recommend this cabin to anyone—especially families with pets. Final note—as of the time of our trip (February 2021) Waze does not recognize the roads leading to the house and took us somewhere completely wrong. We were able to easily navigate to the cabin with Google maps, though.

Beautiful cabin and location

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is easy to get to and in a perfect location for hiking and taking a scenic ride to enjoy the fall foliage. Also, very close to Crane Creek Vineyard which is one of our favorites!

Great cabin

We rented this cabin for two weeks because my daughter goes to horse camp at trackrock stables. The cabin is laid out nicely with three different levels and a king size bed on each level. You could easily put two families in this cabin but we just had two adults and three kids. There’s a basement area that has lots of games including ping-pong and cornhole. There was everything that we needed in the kitchen except a Keurig and I have a portable one at home so it’s no big deal. The beds are very comfortable which is important because we stayed for two weeks. It’s also very convenient to a lot of different places. This is our third you’re going to this area and will definitely stay at this cabin again
