The cabin is very cute and cozy. The kitchen was stocked with enough pots and pans that we didn't need to bring our own. We also loved enjoying the fire and hot tub. The hosts were very helpful when we ran into a small issue. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking for a romantic get away close enough to some fun hikes in Shawnee.

Amazing experience! Beautiful cabin, clean, well managed, comfortable. The hot tub was nice and well taken care of. The bed was comfortable. It is wonderfully secluded. I cannot say anything negative about the stay. The hosts responded immediately with any questions. Best Vrbo stay we have ever had. We were sad to leave. We will definitely go again.

Can’t think of a more perfect place for a secluded, peaceful, nature-filled getaway. 10 stars!! Unique, comfortable, well-stocked cabin with a hot tub on the back porch
perfect for watching the sunset over the expansive sloped back yard complete with firepit, pond, and a couple golf holes! We have stayed here 4 times and plan to keep going back!

It was a perfect secluded getaway from the hustle and bustle of life! A beautiful little slice of heaven! From fishing at the lake, walking the wooded trail to relaxing in the hot tub. There were plenty things to do to keep occupied! 10/10 recommend!

Nice place. Enjoyed the privacy and all the deer/wild life! Great place to go unplug. It was raining some of our trip but was able to sit and relax on the deck overlooking the pond. Would recommend a visit.

This property is our dream come true. It is the perfect getaway for relaxing, recharging, and enjoying the best nature has to offer. It's been such an amazing place for us, we wanted to give others an opportunity to enjoy it.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The entrance to the property is a beautiful path through the center of the woods, which opens up into a breathtaking meadow in the back. It's a picture-perfect setting for the cabin, overlooking the lake for a gorgeous sunset. It's also very close to many attractions, including wineries, Tunnel Hill Bike Trail, Ohio River, Mermet Springs Scuba Diving, and a other state nature areas like Mermet Lake. There is much to do nearby or you can bring your fishing pole and fish the lake for a nice catfish cook-it-up-on-the-grill dinner. If you prefer you can also sit by the fire or relax in the hot tub under the stars for the rest of the night. Don't forget to watch for the amazing wildlife. There is something for everyone here.
