This beautiful new construction ranch style house is located on14 wooded acres near the quiet little town of Vienna, Il. It has a large deck which overlooks a large green grassy area that is perfect for spying an early morning deer just waking up to enjoy the day or a flock of turkey scurrying through.
You can even take a walk in the woods and enjoy the stream that runs through the property.
There is also a concrete patio area that is a great area to grill out or simply hang up your diving equipment or hunting clothes.
PJ's palace is a great location for SCUBA divers, runners, folks who like to ride bike trails, wine enthusiasts and hunters as well!! We are located approximately 10 minutes north of Mermet Springs, which is one of the top diving destinations in the midwest.
This house is also conveniently located about 3 minutes from the tunnel hill trail that is a favorite trail in this area for bike riders or runners. The tunnel hill trail is the site / host of the 50 and 100 mile running race that is held every fall.
Are you a wine trail enthusiast? We are also centrally located for the wine trail in Southern Illinois. Some of our local wineries include Blue Sky, Star View, Owl Creek, Fork and Vine, Alto pass winery. You can find all of the wineries listed at shawneewinetrail.com
This location is perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a relaxing getaway.

I came for diving at Mermet Springs and could not have asked for a better place to stay! Spacious, well-equipped, quiet and close to my destination. The hosts provided bottled water due to an unforeseen boil order and kept in contact with our group regarding the matter. Beautiful place and lovely stay!

We stayed at this lovely place because of its proximity to Mermet Speings for diving and Vienna for necessities. The home is simply beautiful and the best equipped short term rental we’ve ever used. We were lucky enough to see several deer in the backyard! We will absolutely be back, it’s our stay of choice in the area!!

Another great trip to PJ’s Palace! We stayed almost a week, loved how close it is to Mermet Springs for diving, and it’s SO SO nice! Having the laundry onsite (as opposed to no laundry if we’d stayed at a hotel) was GREAT for our wet dive stuff :)Spacious great room gave us plenty of room to socialize in the evenings, and the hosts respond so fast! We appreciate you guys and can’t wait to come back next year!

This is an excellent property, with a wonderful living room where everyone could visit. The rooms were perfect for our group, and we totally enjoyed the outdoor fire pit area. It is conveniently close to town, but just far enough outside to provide a quiet, comfortable environment. I will be staying here again on our next visit to Mermet Springs Dive Park!

The location was perfect. 14 beautiful acres 1 mile from town with a beautiful ranch style home. A peaceful deck out back where you can take in the beautiful view and sounds of nature. You can be having your cup of coffee and be surprised by a flock of turkey, a grazing family of deer!
