L'espace de vie extérieur et la pelouse adjacents surdimensionnés doublent efficacement votre espace véranda (balcon). Cette suite offre le sentiment d'une résidence privée à Maui, nichée dans une atmosphère de villégiature méticuleusement entretenue.

Cette suite intérieure de deux chambres au rez-de-chaussée offre une vue magnifique sur la station et la solitude des alizés dominants. La suite peut accueillir jusqu'à six personnes dans deux lits king-size et un canapé-lit convertible queen-size.

Awesome place

Excellent ground level location, close to fitness, store, and easy access to pool and beach. Eating dinner every evening and watching the sun set was the best.

Love Honua Kai

This is a great ground floor unit! Spacious, great lanai & close to an elevator to access parking, gym and lobby. Honua Kai is a favourite resort for us, the pools, grounds, boardwalk & access to beach is fabulous. Def will be back again.

Perfect area for kids!

We have never stayed somewhere with so many pools and beautiful beaches all within quick walking distance! It was so lovely to just walk out the lanai and have everything in walking distance. Even my mother in law with double knee replacements had an easy time getting around. My daughter loved the water slide!

This place was great! The check in process was a little confusing, there wasn’t anyone there when we arrived to give us our keys. But we did arrive later around 10pm so that could be why. Otherwise everything was great! This location is perfect, staff was very friendly. Room was perfect for our family of 5. We will definitely book here again in the future.

Pool/ beach:Spent 7 days here with family of four with a 3 and 5 year old. The kids loved the pool especially the water slide, waterfall cave, and splash pad. The beach was nice to hang out and watch sunsets but kids did not like to enter water because waves were to aggressive. Instead we traveled 8 mins North to Nipili beach which had very calm waves Felt much safer. Condo:The 2 bedroom condo was perfect for all our needs. Everything that you need is right there such as cups, dishes, cooking utensils, dishwasher, washer and dryer. We did have to walk trash down the hallway but it wasn’t that bad. Resort offered towels with self check in vender stations which was easy to manage. Parking garage was excellent and easy to access.Notes:Highly recommend you go to Costco when arrive from airport for items such as alcohol, cooler, meats to cook on grill, basic condiments, etc. more expensive in local shops near facility.

We always enjoy our stay. The room was clean and well appointed. Our only complaint was that the washer and dryer were not working. The resort offered to wash our laundry daily but having someone rifle through our dirty clothes isn’t appealing. And one of the most important amenities to our family is having a washer and dryer. Luckily we were traveling with other family members who’s W/D were working and were at least able to wash before leaving return home with clean clothes.

Dirty Dark & Dingy

I have stayed at the Honua Kai before and enjoyed it - even stayed in this exact unit 5 years ago. Unfortunately, it seemed that it hadn't been cleaned since then. It was dark with VERY limited lighting, the walls were covered in dust as were the AC vents, the furniture was stained and dirty, the lampshade ripped, there was ONE PAN for my family of four, old overly used kitchenware, no cutting board or baking sheet, the washer and dryer were not usable due to the STENCH of mildew inside the washer and kitchen area in general. Having a 13 year old and a 4 year old makes it so that I have laundry OFTEN! The manager offered laundry service for no EXTRA fee which yielded heavily scented & wrinkled clothing - not acceptable for my 4 year old with sensitive skin. Management tried to work with me but unfortunately, the dark dingy room left us all feeling very uncomfortable. Trying to read to the kids was no fun...being in the room was just no fun.

We pride ourselves on a high standard of upkeep and we apologize that we failed to provide you with a pristine condo. We dusted the high a/c vents as well as shampooed the sofa and easy chairs. We also took inventory of the kitchenware and found two cutting boards and a baking sheet, and we do apologize that there was only one sauté pan. We’re also sorry for the condition of the washer. In the case that a guest’s washer or dryer is not working, it is customary for us to provide dedicated laundry service from our inhouse team, and we’re sorry that that also didn’t work to your satisfaction. We appreciate you taking the time to work with our management team, and while they were happy to offer a credit for the issues you experienced, we are sorry for your disappointment. Disappointed

In the past year weʻve stayed at the Honua Kai 5 times. What made this trip disappointing was that it wasnʻt easy communicating with the management company because it took them a while before getting back to us if we had a question. The VRBO app is designed to make communication easier but they donʻt tend to communicate with you using the app so you have to constantly check your email and wonder if you may have missed something. I found that going back and forth to check email and or the app was inconvenient. Our stay was short so unless there was an absolute emergency, we didnʻt think the management company would respond quick enough so we thought it was a waste of time to reach out. The check in time is later than most places and the check out time is earlier than most places so you kind of feel like youʻre getting ripped off. There was no beach/pool towels in the unit as well as no information on whether or not the kiosk was available to guests renting this unit. The unit itself was okay. We found that there was no spatula which made flipping eggs/pancakes in the morning really hard. The Spider webs outside of the unit in the lanai area was disturbing. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and it was nice having a tub in both bathrooms.

We are happy to report that our entire team can now communicate via the VRBO messaging portal! The towel kiosks throughout the resort had been closed due to the pandemic, but they came back into service on April 1st and pool towels are once again easily accessed from the towel trackers located throughout the resort. We have also placed 2 spatulas in the unit per your comments. We understand the spider webs can be disturbing and will follow up with the Honua Kai team that manages all the pest control. Our original place fell thru and luckily this property had last minute availability for the dates we needed which is absolute luck for June in Maui. Easy checkin process, great location. Unit is big and was clean and well stocked. Will definitely book again.

Beautiful condo at a beautiful location

We had a great 10 day stay. Check in and out was seamless, the grounds were beautiful. Only downside is that the washer and dryer doesn’t work super well. I would highly recommend paying to have a cleaner at least once to refresh the unit. Having the lover unit was perfect for easy access. We’d definitely recommend to others.

It was a really nice place to stay. It was close to multiple different beaches. Easy to make food and close to restaurants. My only complaint was it had really dim lighting in the bathroom. But it made me look tan haha otherwise the place was beautiful :)

Beautiful, clean and spacious condo!

We stayed for 1 week with my parents and our two young children (5 & 2). This was our 3rd time staying at the Honua Kai and first time in this specific unit. It was beautifully maintained and spotless clean when we arrived. The management company is super responsive and accommodating. The ground level unit is truly unbeatable, especially with young kids. We enjoyed a lot of take-out in the outdoor dining space and our kids ran around and played soccer in the lawn. The vitamix was also clutch for fresh fruit smoothies and the beach chairs were also very handy since the pool chairs filled up quick each day. The resort itself is wonderful for families (hence why we keep coming back). We loved it and hope to return! Thank you to our hosts!

This is the only unit I want when I go to Maui! This unit was amazing! The size is huge!

I cannot wait to come back and stay in this unit again! Perfect location! It is a straight walk from the unit to the pools or the beach and Dukes! The resort is just beautiful!

First time Maui Visit

As first time visitors to Maui, this was a great location, great pools, and appropriately spaced and monitored during Covid. Having kids ages 9 and 13 this was the best part of the island to stay at and we were happy we booked it. The resort needs updating and is getting rundown, the cabanas were ripping, the washer/dryer in unit had wear and a few more amenities would have been great. However, we had a great time and if you are looking for a 2 bedroom unit, this will match your needs.

Preschool Perfect!

We have two preschool girls and this property was perfect for our family! The ground floor unit meant our girls could safely hunt for lizards and explore outside while we made breakfast or packed up for the day. The elevator to the garage was steps away....less schlepping = easier pack in/out. The pools were kid friendly and the beach was so close. Basically, if you have a young family this is THE place for you!! We will certainly be returning to Honua Kai!

Family Paradise

We traveled with our young girls and this property was perfect for us! The ground level unit gave us a small “back yard” where our girls could safely explore/play. The condo is stocked with all the beach necessities which made it so easy to venture to the beach. The pools are also kid-friendly. We would definitely stay at Honua Kai again!

Perfect location!

We’ve stayed at Honua Kai many times but the ground floor unit was a great choice especially having our grandchild with us. It was so easy to come and go from the condo to the various resort amenities. We’ll definitely consider this unit again in the future.
