La maison Duncan a été construite en 1920 et présente une architecture unique de l'époque avec des équipements modernes. La maison est située au centre de la ville ... à pied de la plage et du dîner. Les salles de bain ont été rénovées et d'autres parties de la maison ont été rénovées pour votre confort. Un porche confortable offre la chute d'un chalet tout en ayant accès à tout ce que la ville a à offrir. Un pâté de maisons de la place ... accès facile aux nombreux festivals saisonniers, marché de producteurs et shopping.

Communication and check in were great. Kitchen as well as the entire house was welcoming and immaculate. Updated bathrooms with old world charm in reception rooms. Huge back yard. Excellent location. We loved the charm of the house. Highly recommend.

Charming Property

This was the second time we’ve stayed at Duncan House for a month over the Holidays. It was warm and inviting with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It is on the edge of town where you can walk to shops and specialty food shops. The hosts are friendly and responsive.

I loved the charm of the old building and its furnishings, as well as its location. Unfortunately I have mobility issues and the bathrooms are on the top floor and in the basement so that was a minor problem but I would still recommend this property without hesitation

A Perfect Stay in The Duncan Home 5+++ Stars

If I could give 6 stars I would! If you are looking for the perfect getaway home this would be it. The Duncan home was quiet, spacious, fully equipped and extremely clean. Centrally located to shopping, the square and the beach. This beautifully decorated home was warm and inviting and we did not want to leave. They went above and beyond to make us feel like it was our home. Thank you for making our stay in Goderich perfect. We will be back, and we will stay longer. You do not get any better than this.

We were in Goderich for my sons wedding, which was at Lighthouse Park and Beach Street Station. House was in the perfect location, close to everything! Lots of room and everything we needed! Loved the front porch!!!

Cozy, Comfortable & Coming Back

We enjoyed our time in this beautiful home. Came with a few friends and our favourite spot was the porch in the front of the house (so cozy & we spent most of our time there. The backyard was beautiful and we enjoyed some yummies on the picnic table. We were in walking distance to town (4 minutes) and enjoyed the shops and the farmers market. We felt comfortable in this home away from home and we will be coming back!! Thanks Ann for everything! 😊

La casa es antigua, con encanto y mucho espacio para pasar tiempo cómodamente. Tiene de todo y el jardín es precioso, aunque en invierno no lo hemos aprovechado mucho. Quisimos alargar la estancia 1 día más y todo fueron facilidades.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Ann’s place. It was clean and close to the main square. Ann was prompt in responding to any questions we had, and we would stay at her place again the next time we’re in Goderich.

We enjoyed Duncan house for the holiday season. It is well situated in the lovely town of Goderich where you can walk to a very good variety of shops and restaurants. The beach and boardwalk on Lake Huron are also just down the street. The house has historic charm and is very well cared for. We are grateful to our excellent hosts.

Very nice stay

Duncan house was clean, well stocked and exactly what we were looking for. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and TV room. It is close to the beach and very close to the square. Ann was very nice and we were able to extend our stay a few days without hassle. Duncan house is on a busy road and you here the trucks going by.

Lovely old home in Goderich

This lovely roomy old house was a great place to stay for a family week at the beach. Very close to all amenities and everything you need at the house is provided. The owner answered all questions quickly. The only down side was the the house wasn't perfectly clean when we arrived.

Beautiful home with Character and Charm

We were thrilled to see the Christmas tree and outdoor lights lit up when we arrived. It was a nice added touch. The boiler heating system offered a warm hug when we walked in! Everything was amazing right from booking to the moment we left. This space was perfect for our large family and had everything we needed. . We hope to return soon!

Perfect!

The rental process was very easy. All questions were answered immediately. The house is lovely and, for our purposes (a wedding) was perfectly located. Several family members came from different locations and we had a relaxing mini-reunion. Much better than multiple hotel rooms! My one small piece of feedback would be this: yes there are 2 very nice full bathrooms. But one of them is in the basement and that needs to be stated. Otherwise... perfect!
