Welcome to The Lakehouse at Johnson Lake, the ultimate retreat for relaxation, recreation, and unforgettable memories! Nestled on the scenic South Crappie Corner of Johnson Lake, Nebraska, this stunning property offers a year-round haven for families, friends, and groups looking to escape the ordinary. Conveniently located just 10 miles off I-80 and between Lexington and Elwood, the Lakehouse is your gateway to a perfect lakeside experience.


Johnson Lake is a vibrant destination brimming with activities for all ages. Besides water activities, Johnson Lake boasts a fantastic trail system, State Recreation Areas, fishing, playgrounds, a golf course, and awesome dining choices.

You will immediately feel relaxed and welcome at the Lakehouse, which has four bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate 10-12 people.

The great room and upstairs game room are spacious, giving you lots of room to spread out. The property has four smart TVs, Sonos surround sound, DISH TV, and internet. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need during your stay.

Outside is an upper deck leading to a large patio with an outdoor gas grilling station, dining and firepit areas, and plenty of gorgeous views of the lake. In season, you can walk past the grassy yard to your private dock. Moor your boat, drop in a kayak, or cannonball right into the lake! Outdoor games, kayaks, dock chairs, and lake floats are included.

The property is terrific and tremendously well equipped! It has absolutely everything needed to make a stay enjoyable. Its location on the lake is nice with beautiful sunsets across the lake to enjoy! Check in and check out were easy and Jackie was great to work with!

We have stayed at this property multiple times and will continue to when we visit the area. The location right on the lake is great and makes it super easy to spend all day outside. The lakehouse is clean and comfortable and the hosts are super nice. Our whole group would highly recommend this property.

Family Time

The Lakehouse was a great place for our family to gather. It had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. It's beautiful inside and out with all the amenities you could possibly ask for. Jackie is a great host. She took time to meet us there upon arrival and gave us a quick tour of the house. We hope to stay here again.

Beautiful Property!

This was a wonderful getaway for our family! The house is beautiful, clean, and offered many amenities and small touches to make our stay comfortable and relaxing! We brought our boat and played on the water during the day and enjoyed time with family around the fire or in the house during the evenings. We would definitely stay here again!

Family lake getaway

We had a fantastic stay at the lake house. It reminded us of spending time at the family lake house as a kid. We were able to unwind and relax during our stay. Lake Johnson is the perfect size lake with something for everyone to enjoy.

Wonderful Lakehouse: stocked with everything you need, great location, beautiful lake, seriously nothing they could have done better. Owners have kept up this property very well and feel lucky to have stayed there.

Fantastic Lakehouse

The Lakehouse was truly a great place to stay! We had a group of 12, yet everyone had plenty of room and things to do. We were pleasantly surprised by all that the hosts provided. They were wonderful to work with and communicate with.

Great place for our entire family to get together. Gorgeous home, everything you could ask for. The grandkids LOVED the bunk room. The large kitchen and big table provided a fun place to gather but we spent most of our time outside. The lake was awesome and the floats and life jackets provided by the host kept us all happy. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio with the sound system playing great music, s'mores at the fire pit, and just relaxing in the sunshine. Highly recommend!

The very best!!

Our favorite house ever! Beautiful location, beautiful house, beautiful outdoor space! This was the perfect location for our family vacation, the beds were super comfy, plenty of space for us to spread out or hang out all together, and best of all everything you need for a 5 month old!! The owner was so kind and helpful, will definitely book again!!

Incredible vacation

The listing does not do this place justice. The home is beautiful and fully stocked. The host is wonderful and responsive. We rented a pontoon boat and jetskis nearby. When not on those, our kids were in the lake near the dock where they could touch (perfect for 3-7 year olds). We can't wait to come back next summer!

Family vacation

We just spent a week at this property and had a great time. We had 5 kids from 5-15 and 5 adults. The house is amazing and had everything we needed and the view is absolutely beautiful. There were plenty of activities for the kids and several games and toys. Our host Jackie is absolutely wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. I definitely would stay again. Sandy

Exceeds Expectations

This property has it ALL. An amazing space with time, thought and care built into every area. Inside is a beautiful home full of high end finishes, ample space, and welcoming accommodations. But our time was primarily spent on the incredible patio space with multiple areas to relax, disconnect and enjoy unforgettable views. What more can you ask for

Over the Top!!!!

If you are looking at this property snag it right away! We were a group of 8 guys on a golf trip. We rent a house every year rather than staying in hotels. This home was far and away the nicest home we have seen. It's a beautiful place that has everything, and I mean everything you will need for your stay. Jackie is a very accommodating host and happily did some extra things to ensure we had what we needed. The neighborhood was great as well. This is a repeater for us and we will definitely rent the home again for our next trip.
