Cute cottage & fabulous location

Perfect for our family of 5 with adult children. The location was close to downtown for shopping, musical fountain and fireworks.Would stay again for sure

Felt like being at the beach

Great vibe with colorful decor and well-equipped kitchen. Washer/dryer was a bonus. Owner stopped by to check in after the first night. Great quiet location within walking distance of downtown, boardwalk, and lake.

Flip Flop Fun!

My family of two adults and two kids had a great time at the Flip Flop Cottage! The space was very clean and the decor did not disappoint! It is compact, but everyone had their own room and plenty of common space. The cottage offers all the amenities of modernization (especially central AC!) while maintaining the charm of the traditional Grand Haven cottage experience. We appreciated prompt communication, along with a wonderfully central location. Thanks, Flip Flop, for some great summer memories!

Great location

This property has an awesome location, a quick 2 blocks to the main strip or to the boardwalk. Had all the essentials, cute beach decor and a relaxing front porch to enjoy as well. Parking was a little tight for 2 vehicles but we made it work and there was street parking as well. Had fans as well as AC. Would definitely stay again

Charming Cottage

We enjoyed staying at the FlipFlop cottage. Loved our short walk to downtown and easy drive to the beach. The cottage is complete with all the conveniences needed for a great vacation. The decor gives a feeling of whimsical vacation vibe. The owner was easy to communicate with and responds quickly through the VRBO app.

Quaint and perfect

Definitely a great location! Only minor gripe would be the shower- it was very dim with the opaque shower curtain and the shower head was one with super fine stream so it was like little water picks. A different curtain or a light over the shower would help with the light issue, and a different shower head would solve the prickly water, so like I said
 super minor gripe :)

Family getaway

We came from Ohio for a few days and we very much enjoyed our stay! It was such a walkable, safe and beautiful area. We did have a few excursions planned but after arriving we decided they were not neccesary. Being on lake time was exactly what our family needed. Thank you for sharing your beautifully decorated beach cottage with us! Hope we can return next year!

Eclectic cute location

This home is very cute, although quite small and the stairs up to the second floor are a bit of a challenge. Eclectic very cute furnishings & bright colors. Warm upstairs - A/C did not quite function as well upstairs - would be beneficial to have ceiling fans or stand up oscillating fans for the two bedrooms upstairs. Other than that perfect location - close to everything that makes Grand Haven special.

Great week in GH

We had a lovely time in Grand Haven staying at the Flip Flop cottage. The location is wonderful and the home was cozy and clean. Just right for a small family. Only thing I would note if you plan to cook at all you will need to plan for all pantry items (oil, seasonings, etc.). We love coming to the beach each year and are glad we found this great little cottage!

Loved it!

We had a great time & thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the flip flop cottage!! Great spot for our family of 5! Loved that we could walk to lunch/dinner and it was just a very short drove to the beautiful beaches! We hope to be back again soon!

Perfect location. Bike or walk to the boardwalk and all the happenings in Grand Haven.

This house was perfect for us and we lived the front porch. Great way to start the morning with a cup of coffee and end the day with a glass of wine sitting on the porch.

Cute beach house

The property was super clean. While not spacious, the space was functional and worked well for my family. 2 bedrooms upstairs and one on main floor. Less than 5 minute walk to downtown and 1 mile to the city and state park beaches.

Convenient and Fun

We loved staying at Lisa's place! Everything was clean, and we had all we needed for cooking and fun around the campfire. It was so convenient, especially since we had to put my son down for naptime everyday. It was nice to be right next to downtown, the boardwalk, and the beach. Lisa was helpful when we needed an early check-in and late checkout, and accommodated all requests. We hope to return!
