Ancien bâtiment historique de 1830, récemment rénové, avec granit, bois franc et électroménagers haut de gamme. Situé dans les maisons en rangée historiques "Les 13 soeurs" sur la rue Julia. Ceci est un condo de 2 chambres 2 salles de bain avec un balcon. Quartier des Arts, à proximité du quartier français, Mercedes Benz Superdome, Smoothie King Arena, Centre des congrès, restaurants, musées, boutiques, et plus encore. Balcon, hauts plafonds, plan d'étage ouvert.


Cette propriété encapsule tout ce qui est New Orleans. Caractéristiques haut de gamme, spacieuses et idéales pour recevoir, briques apparentes, planchers de bois franc, balcon, décorées professionnellement et pleines de caractère. Shopping et divertissements de la vie nocturne sont tous accessibles à pied. Ce qui rend cet endroit génial, c'est le manque de bruit de la rue tout en étant au centre de tout cela. Les boutiques de la rue des magazines et le quartier français sont à quelques pas. Tandis que le quartier résidentiel et le Garden District ne sont qu'à une courte distance en voiture du bâtiment (l'arrêt de tramway est adjacent à notre bâtiment). Cet endroit est idéal pour les touristes en visite. Nous sommes sur la route du défilé du mardi gras.

This location is a hidden gem at the edge of the Central Business District and Arts & Warehouse District. a short stroll up the Avenue, to get to the French Quarter, and so many restaurants within a few blocks walk of this area of downtown New Orleans, and where more of the locals eat regularly, not in the French Quarter. Three blocks to the WWII Museum, this 1827's built building sits, close enough to so many of the attractions, activities, venues and events, yet far enough from the constant chaos of the French Quarter. The "Caroline" named condo in the historic "Thirteen Sisters of Julia " is quite the hidden gem along Julia street, int he Arts & Warehouse District of downtown New Orleans, and truly a great location for all there is to do, go, see and EAT in our beloved City! An 8 block walk to either the Morial Convention Center Smoothie King Center Arena or Superdome, for all those conventions, concerts or sporting events that New Orleans host year round. Eight blocks away from the French Quarter, so you are far enough away from the constant chaos and 3 AM noise of trash pick up, delivery trucks and those loud back up bells on the delivery trucks to prepare the French Quarter for the next day, and 3 blocks to the WWII Museum. There are over 25 restaurants within a few blocks any way you walk, along with a full grocery store or CVS for needed forgotten items. We would love to have you back again. Thank you Candie for the Review of "Caroline", one of the "Thirteen Sisters of Julia" built in the 1820's and renovated in 2012, keeping all of the beautiful exposed brick, antique fireplace and mantel which keeps the charm of that Victorian era alive and well in the Arts & Warehouse District of downtown New Orleans. It really is a great location and not a far walk to get to Morial Convention Center, Cruise Ship Ports, Smoothie King Center Arena, Superdome and WWII Museum. No doubt the more than 25 places to eat all within a few blocks away, in any direction, some being James Beard Award winning restaurants, and local's favorites as well. Sorry we didn't get that last star, making this a 5 Star, so please let us know what more we could have done to make this rating. Hope to have you back again, on your next visit to VacayNOLA!

Thank you for the 5* Review. We enjoyed having you stay in our historic condo at The Julia at St. Charles Ave. Is this not the best location in New Orleans? Streetcar on the corner, WWII Museum 3 block away, in the middle of the Arts District, close enough to walk to the French Quarter, but also away from the Bourbon Street noise to sleep at night and so many restaurants to choose from, within a block of the building entry door! It's always nice to have a cold beverage waiting for you in the fridge as soon as you get in from a flight or unloading luggage. There are so many places to eat around this neighborhood, it is a great location to all there is to do here, when the main focus in not Bourbon Street. Little Easy does have some good food and if you plan on having a few cocktails, it's so quick to get back upstairs, into the condo. The green streetcars are such a convenience at the corner to get around town and quite an interesting ride to see all of the Mansions and Greek Revivals along historic St. Charles Ave. We would love to host you again. A perfect home base for exploring all parts of New Orleans. Our family of four enjoyed spreading out and having a home to return to after our adventures in the city. Easy access to the street car was a huge plus, and the balcony allowed us to take in all the sights and sounds of the city...including multiple “second lines.”

Great Trip

Property was in a safe location and liked having a secure building access. Nicely furnished. Nice to have a few cocktails waiting on us in the fridge. Easy access to most sites, after eating at all of the wonderful restaurants doing some walking to Bourbon street was in order. Great all around trip.

Perfectly Comfortable Stay

This apartment is absolutely lovely. I’d definitely stay here again. It was so easy to access and communicate with the host when needed. They were so nice and accommodating. The apartment itself was spacious and clean and very well appointed. The beds are super comfortable and the three TVs with cable was an added bonus.

Comfortable Condo with Balcony

Great location, near St. Charles Streetcar, restaurants, art galleries, CVS and supermarket. The balcony was a nice plus and the restaurant downstairs was a good neighbor. There were some small maintenance issues, but the property managers were responsive.
