Façade d'eau du lac Kangourou, emplacement idéal pour les familles!

Le lac Kangourou est un lac de 1100 acres au milieu du comté de Door, Wisconsin. Notre maison fait face au sud-ouest, ce qui permet au beau soleil de se déverser dans la propriété la plupart de la journée et aux couchers de soleil incroyables. La maison est à moins de 60 pieds du bord de l'eau sans aucune marche jusqu'au bord de l'eau et au quai.

La maison dispose de 5 chambres avec 4 salles de bain et peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'Ă  16 personnes. 5 des chambres ont vue sur l'eau qui comprend la cuisine / salle Ă  manger.

Would highly recommend this house for your Door County vacation! Michael was such a great host and the house is really spectacular. It is in a lovely quiet spot but close to Bailey's Harbor and all Door County has to offer. We stayed in late October, so didn't get to enjoy the lake too much but it would be so great for a summer vacation!Our group was quite large, 8 adults and 7 kids under the age of 3. The house had plenty of space for us all and the kitchen was well equipped for the simple meals we made there. We did have an issue with the coffee maker on the first morning of our stay, but Michael brought us a new one the same day which was so appreciated. Can not recommend this property enough!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view of the lake is perfect and there’s so much to do in the area. The fire pit was really nice and the wood is supplied. Kids really like the hammock. We had 10 people in our party and there was plenty of room for everybody. I would definitely stay at this house again.

We throughly enjoyed our stay! It had everything we needed and the view was spectacular. We meet Terry and found we had a lot of common interest which was fun. The place was clean, well stocked, and had plenty on space for the 9 of us. I would not hesitate to stay with Micheal and Terry again. Thanks for the made memories.

My family had a wonderful week in Door County staying at this delightful home on Kangaroo Lake! The property is gorgeous and the photos in the listing don’t do it justice. The home was beautiful, clean, and the hosts were fantastic! This kitchen was one of the most well-equipped ones that I’ve stayed in and had everything we needed and more. With 3 kids in our group, the fire pit, boats, and dock were heavily used and the lake’s sand bottom off the dock was perfect for swimming. Each bedroom had its own A/C unit, and stayed very cool (and my husband and I like the COLD then sleeping), and the unit in the main area also kept things nice and cool, even with temps almost in the 90s outside. The 5 minute drive to Bailey’s Harbor was the perfect distance to pop over and do things/grab anything we needed. Michael was a fantastic host- extremely responsive, and checked in to make sure we were settled in and see whether we needed anything during our stay. Will absolutely be staying here again!

Piece of Heaven

When we walked in and saw the view of the lake and the beautiful open living area we were delighted!! We had a birthday toast of the dock watching the sunset! Gorgeous~ It was so nice there we cancelled dinner reservations and had a light dinner there, and played games. What a great piece of Heaven!! Thanks for sharing!!

Lake house paradise

This property was beautiful. We stayed with our family and had kids 3 to 18. It was more beautiful than the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked and we grilled many meals. The whole family enjoyed kayaking on the lake and it was great for the kids because the lake was so shallow. There were plenty of outdoor games to play and we spent a lot of time just hanging outside. The property was very quiet and the backyard was very private and secluded. I would stay here again. Family vacation

We had a wonderful week in Door County. This beautiful home and location was perfect for our group of 13. Photos are a very accurate description. Quiet and private location on the clear lake, yet close proximity to so many areas of Door County. Michael was so easy to work with and all the amenities that came with the home were great! We loved the bicycles, kayaks and canoe, and the life jackets that were provided. Unfortunately there weren't any fish off our dock, needed to venture out to the island for that but the view and sunsets were beautiful. Bald eagle flew over while the kids were kayaking! We will cherish the memories made on this trip and hopefully will return sometime soon as we found more areas near by to check out! Thank you Michael!

Perfect home for a family vacation

We had a wonderful week’s stay at Michael’s home on Kangaroo Lake. Plenty of space for the 6 of us (plus a toddler who loved running around in the yard and “playing” the provided yard games!). The weather was great so we ate our dinners outside overlooking the peaceful lake. Michael was very responsive and the location was ideal-just a few minutes to Bailey’s Harbor and 10 or so minutes to Egg Harbor and the Main St Market. We would highly recommend this home!

Great Stay!

This is a beautiful property that was convenient for a large group of people. I went with 8 of my friends from high school/college and we had the time of our lives. The owner was great and checked in with me frequently to see if we needed anything. There was plenty of firewood to do a bonfire and bikes! My favorite town in DC is Baileys Harbor and it was just a 3 min drive to town. The owner provides many suggestions of things to do if you don’t know DC. The house itself was clean and spacious!

Beautiful home inside and out

House and grounds are very well maintained on Kangaroo Lake. The 5 bedrooms and 4 bath comfortably fit our family of 14 included 9 adults and 5 grandkids. Campfire pit was well stocked with wood, weather was cool ( October) but would be awesome to use the lake during the summers. Definitely an A+ property and property owners.

Door County Dream!

Excellent time was had at Tranquility & Serenity Family Retreat! All eleven of us (ages 11 - 83) enjoy the well-outfitted, spacious home. The kitchen was a cook’s delight with everything we needed to create good meals. Ideal, beautiful location right on the lake. We experienced sunsets, bonfires, table & yard games extraordinaire! Would definitely recommend this Vrbo.
