La maison historique Stowell, construite en 1888, est situĂ©e en plein cƓur du centre-ville. La maison a tout le charme d'antan avec les commoditĂ©s des Ă©quipements modernes. DĂ©tendez-vous et profitez de la piscine Paso dans votre piscine privĂ©e, marchez au centre-ville vers tous les hotpots locaux ou goĂ»tez au vin! Ce que vous dĂ©cidez de faire pendant votre sĂ©jour Ă  Paso, nous savons que vous serez Ă  l'aise au Stowell House!

La propriĂ©tĂ© comprend deux maisons (louĂ©es ensemble). La maison principale a quatre chambres Ă  l'Ă©tage, deux canapĂ©s-lits (en bas) et trois salles de bain complĂštes rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©es. À quelques pas se trouve un charmant pool house indĂ©pendant qui a une chambre et une salle de bain. Les deux maisons ont une cuisine complĂšte et une buanderie.

The house itself is in a great location, lovely and well equipped. Pool was great!! The WiFi or TV itself is not good for watching movies at night -we kept losing signal. Also, not able to do work from house due to WiFi connection. The carpet in main living area is tired with a couple of large dark stains which if we had youngsters would have been an issue. Property manager was very responsive when we had an issue with back door!

This is a great house but it is not in very good condition. Carpets and upholstery stained, cobwebs, very dusty. The house does provide space which accommodated our family. The pool is lovely but is not heated, making it difficult to enjoy.

Wedding in Paso Robles

The house was large, on a fairly quiet street with plenty of parking. The location was great, convenient and well situated.. We were a family of 7 and had plenty of room. My husband and I stayed in the "pool house" which was very private from the main house with its own kitchen. Our main complaint was the bedroom was on the small side and we had no place to hang or store our clothes. Perhaps an armoire in the living room could solve that problem. The outside was was very pretty with areas for gathering That said, likely to to the dry weather, we found we needed to wipe down outdoor surfaces to remove dust.

The pictures are very deceiving. This house is not well-maintained. Difficulty in opening windows and closing doors. There were boards sticking up in the backyard. That was a trip hazard. Several trip hazards in fact.

Great pool

The house was large and fit our group of 7 very comfortably. The pool is fantastic with both sunny and shady sections and we spent a lot of time in the pool while there in 110 degree weather. The hosts were responsive to an issue and solved it quickly. Thanks!

Great house for family vacation

Our family of 10 adults and grandbaby had a wonderful stay. We had plenty of room inside and out. The pool-house was perfect for our daughter/son-in-law and grandbaby to stay. Although it was pretty warm outside (in the 90's) the pool stayed nice and cold! The house has 2 A/C units (upstairs/downstairs) and worked great! Lots of shade around the pool too. Hope to stay again!

large family getaway

Wonderful stay at the Stowell House. 4 day getaway with adult children and significant others. Stowell house is a charming large victorian on a large private lot at the end of a street just blocks from the Paso Robles town square. We found it extremely comfortable with plenty of room for our family of 8. Would definitely stay againl

Everything and More

This place is as advertised and more. Beautiful historic home full of charm and very comfortable. We were a party of 6 adults and had plenty of room to cook, party, swim and dine in. The house is equipped with everything you need. Super quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to the main square in downtown. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. We'll be back for sure!! Never staying at the Courtyard Marriott again.

Perfect house

This house was perfect for our short weekend stay. It was clean, cute and quaint. Casey and Caroline were super nice when messaging them and very responsive. Would love to stay here again if and when we come back to beautiful Paso Robles!! We had 10 people and the house worked for us perfectly!

Great for our group of 9 cycling friends

Fantastic cycling right from the house. This property is right at the bottom of the Peachy Canyon climb. It was perfect for our group. Would have been nice to have a heated hot tub though. Thanks so much.

Beautiful, spacious and great location

The Stowell House was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Paso Robles! We had 4 adult couples staying for an extended weekend and loved our VRBO choice. After visiting wineries during the day, we were able to come home and walk to/from dinner every evening. The yard was spacious and had ample seating to enjoy in the afternoon/early evening. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms available for all 8 adults. Would definitely choose this house to stay at again.

Fab Wedding Weekend

Group of friends stayed here Fri - Sun for a wedding. It was the best decision and added so much fun to our trip! The historic house was such an added bonus, the brave ones went for a dip in the pool (in October), & plenty of room for everyone. We all enjoyed breakfast & dinner together, and couldn’t say enough about the house! Loved the history & the fact that we made memories in it to add to the 100+ years of people enjoying it. Thank you so much for the stay, I highly recommend!

Beautiful, Charming House

Enjoyed our stay at Stowell House. The house has old school charm but pleasant updates. It is very close to the center of town and it is very walkable from there. It is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with plenty of street parking. Please be aware all of the bedrooms in the main house are up a fairly steep set of stairs, so anyone with mobility issues should consider this. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect for our family visit

My two sisters, their spouses and our adult children all stayed here together. The house was perfect for our group and we had a wonderful time. We cooked breakfast and lunch there and had dinners out. The walk to downtown was faster than driving and finding parking. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable. The house is historical and has its quirks, but nothing you wouldn't expect. Well, except one thing. A lot of the windows do not open. Enough open to get a good cross breeze and cool the house down (there's AC, I just prefer fresh air), but the windows in the bathrooms did not open. Perhaps packing a bottle of poo-pouri should be on the checklist. ;) All in all - we had a wonderful family trip and would definitely choose this house again.

Lovely oasis!

Such a quaint, functional space that worked great for our family vacation. Loved how the pool area was mostly shaded and the bathrooms are all beautifully renovated. The only downside was the early check out time (10am). We didn’t want to leave!

Great house for large groups

This historic home was absolutely perfect for our college sorority reunion! There are so many fun little places to sit and talk and the house had great amenities. We definitely plan to book this house again next year!
