Jérôme and Véronique were lovely hosts, right from the get go! They greeted us late in the evening, assisting us with all of our luggage. As we were delayed, the car rental was already closed, so we were without a vehicle. Véronique graciously offered us a lift to the Bayeux train station, the following morning so that we could make our way back to Caen to pick up our rental. The home is clean, comfortable and spacious (we were 5 adults) situated in a lovely farming hamlet which is extremely peaceful. It’s a great home base for day trips and visiting all of the beaches.J&V are excellent communicators promptly answering any queries and addressing all of our needs.I would highly recommend this place. It truly epitomizes the Normandy experience!

We had another lovely stay in Jerome’s house. Great location for surrounding sites, but in a quiet location. Large garden for children to play in safely. A relaxing stay and would recommend this house.

This is a lovely accommodation with gracious hosts. The spacious first-floor kitchen and living room offered plenty of space for a family of five, and our three children enjoyed playing in the large yard. The property's central location is perfect for exploring Bayeux, the D-Day beaches, and nearby villages. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Lovely property

We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location, close to beautiful Bayeux and the landing beaches and supermarket close by, but really peaceful too. The house itself is very clean and comfortable with a beautiful garden. The hosts were very welcoming and the fresh pastries and bread on our first morning were very welcome. All in all we had a great week and would recommend this property and location.

Lovely cottage and beautiful property

Jerome is a wonderful host. Super helpful and keeps the house clean. The property was exactly what our family was looking for during our stay in Normandy. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a spot within reach of Bayeux.

Weekend break with friends

Only a short distance to Bayeux (5 minutes drive), but very secluded and peaceful. Easy access to all the main places of interest in the area. The cottage had all we needed to make our stay comfortable, with all of the rooms being a decent size for their purpose. Would recommend the cottage and the owners, who provided us with pastries and french stick the first morning, to anyone wanting to visit the area

Great Stay

We enjoyed our peaceful stay for 4 nights exploring the D Day landing sites of Normandy. The property was clean, hosts were welcoming and it was extremely well equipped to a high standard with anything you may need during your stay. We particularly enjoyed the log burning fire and Jerome kindly provided more firewood when needed. We also appreciated the bread, pastries, coffee and orange juice provided by the hosts.

Great country spot

As advertised. Owners were terrific, helpful and responsive. Thank you for the pastries! The ice cream stand (farm) down the street was amazing. Property was clean, spacious and very well organized. Great location to Bayeau and all beach sites. A wonderful stay.
