Amenez la famille dans cette magnifique cabane en rondins sur le lac Connors!

Cette cabane en rondins familiale est pour ceux qui veulent vraiment éviter la foule. Au bout d'une route goudronnée sans issue, la propriété borde les 90 000 acres de la forêt domaniale de la rivière Flambeau. Avec un accès facile à des kilomètres et des kilomètres de motoneige, de VTT et de sentiers de randonnée au cœur du pays du Wisconsin Elk.

Notre lac est profond et propre et a très peu de trafic maritime en semaine. La profondeur d'eau typique à l'extrémité de notre quai est de 6 pieds.

Avec deux ponts, feu de camp, 4 kayaks, 2 canoës et un pédalo à votre disposition. Un bordereau pour disponible pour bateau, veuillez demander une place.

Parfait pour les pieds mouillés ou la neige, le rez-de-chaussée du lodge est recouvert de traitements intérieurs / extérieurs pour un nettoyage facile et une tranquillité d'esprit. Le rez-de-chaussée comprend un lit principal (California King), une deuxième chambre (queen), une salle de bains, une salle à manger, une salle de jeux en prime avec un canapé-lit gigogne et une salle familiale.
Notre sous-sol a une buanderie ouverte, une salle de bain, un sauna, une chambre # 1 et # 2 avec des lits queen et simples. Reine supplémentaire est dans l'espace commun. Voici donc la répartition des lits: Sous-sol: 3 reines, 2 lits simples, 1 lit superposé, 2 lits simples pliants. Rez-de-chaussée: Cal. King et queen, un canapé-lit. Et le loft superposé, adapté aux enfants, dispose de 4 lits simples. Fun aye?

- Chenil attenant au garage. Pas plus que deux chiens sans toit autorisés.

Le lac Connors est un lac de 410 acres situé dans le comté de Sawyer. Il a une profondeur maximale de 82 pieds. Nous avons une grande plage de sable et un débarcadère public. Les poissons comprennent le musqué, le brochet, le poisson pané, l'achigan à grande bouche, l'achigan à petite bouche et le doré. L'eau du lac est moyennement claire.

La considération de nos voisins est primordiale. Pas de camping sur la propriété, des événements, des feux d'artifice, de la musique forte ou des fêtes. Ce lodge est conçu pour les clients matures qui respecteront le lodge et les voisins.

Our family of 8 siblings and spouses, came from all around Wisconsin and one family member from Ohio to vacation together. Matt the host was great, checking in with us to make sure all was good. Very relaxing

We had a great time relaxing, using kayaks and paddle boat, eating and playing games. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked and there was plenty of space for all of to eat together but then also get some alone time.

We had a great time. House is great, lake is amazing, boat rental was simple and straight forward. Highly recommend the Smith place. Very quiet, well taken care of, and comfortable. Look forward to a return trip.

Perfect Family Vacat

We had a wonderful time hanging out, fishing and swimming. The lodge was great. We had plenty of room and everything we needed. We would destay there again. Hosts were very communicative and welcoming with a phone call upon our arrival.

Wonderful relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful time relaxing, fishing and hiking. Located on a dead end it quiet and peaceful. Lake is clean and great for swimming. We boated and fished every day. The catch of the week was a 21" Walleye. We walked the trail to the creek and kids caught frogs, snails, and sunfish while the dogs played in the water. Wonderful place to stay!

The Perfect, Quiet Escape

This is exactly what we needed, after 3 months of quarantine and several canceled trips. This property was clean, cozy and the lake is absolutely peaceful and beautiful. Our kids loved the recliners, the sunroom overlooks the lake and is breathtaking, and we loved the authentic cabin feel. We rented a pontoon from Big Bear Recreational Rentals, which is very nearby - and they even delivered it to the boat landing right down the road. The ONLY thing that was slightly inconvenient was that the nearest grocery store is about 30 minutes away. But it was a small price to pay for the peace and tranquility that this property offered. So wonderful! We're so grateful to have experienced this lovely long weekend.

Quiet Place to Stay

The cabin is almost at the end of a dead end road so there was no vehicle traffic, and it was well marked so it was easy to find. The lake was pretty quiet--nice for kayaking with the kids and great for fishing! Having the kayaks and peddle boat (we didn't use the canoes) was a huge draw to this property and they are all in good shape. The cabin is big with so many places to sleep that it would work really well for a large family gathering, but it was just four of us so we all had our own space at the end of the which was also important. The walkout basement is unfinished but well kept, and made for a great workout space. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed to prep our meals for the week. The furnishings and cabinets were older but in good condition. There were a few downsides, though: it's not laid out for tall people as the doorways are a little low and my 6'4" son hit his head a few times, there are spaces that didn't have enough lighting including the showers, and the biggest one--and being in COVID times I'm a little more sensitive to this--was the cleanliness. There was mold in the shower, some of the appliances had food still on them, and the mantel was covered in some sort of dirt or dust (not sure what it was). Easily remedied with some elbow grease but something to ask about before making a reservation. The owners responded very quickly to questions and called to make sure we got in okay on our first night.

Thanks for the heads-up. We desire to meet expectations and ultimately receive great reviews. Which is why we try to represent the lodge honestly through description, photos, and calling guests on their first night. We truly wish this would have been articulated when we talked. Sorry your son's height presented a problem. The shower is actually stained. The appliances, we'll talk with housekeeping about that, and the mantle grit is from the chimney - seems fall during storms. Sorry the lodge didn't meet your standards.

Very pleasant, relaxing stay

My family of 5 decided to stay here for a late Spring getaway. It is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. There is some motor boat traffic, but it is minimal and does not detract from the serenity. We made extensive use of the kayaks and the paddle boat, which were a lot of fun. The mosquitos were absolutely ravenous, so bug spray is a MUST. But if you simply take the nice large paddle boat out into the middle of the lake, you can enjoy the beauty of the lake without the insects bothering you. The vast majority of the lake’s shoreline is developed, so that cuts down on the wildlife you will see on the lake. We did occasionally see some loons, but they were not a regular siting. And there were no bald eagles to be found. However, in spite of the development , the shoreline is still very lush, and many of the homes are hidden behind trees. So it is still a very pretty lake. If you have young kids, they will have a BLAST catching little blue gill and baby largemouth right off the dock! The big ones are hard to come by though. I caught a small 13” northern across the lake from the cabin, fishing from the paddle boat, but that’s about it. I caught the northern using rubber peach colored worm with black spots. As far as the cabin itself, it was very nice. The rustic, Northwoods decor was a great treat....very homey. There is plenty of room to spread out if folks want individual quiet time. The kitchen is nicely stocked. The one negative comment I have is that the main floor bathroom and the kitchen are dated. There are surfaces that are stained and feel a little dirty to the touch...but that is simply a result of age, not improper care. New appliances/ cabinets/counters/fixtures would make a nice place even nicer. I would also recommend making more than a single bundle of firewood available to guests. All in all, I would say this was a great rental experience. The owner called us on the first night to see if we had any issues or questions...nice touch. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Great Grouse Hunting Trip!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. We had everything we needed from plenty of rooms, beds, cooking supplies, etc…. This place really gives you the cabin feeling inside and outside. If you don't like mosquitos, it's nice to have both a deck and four seasons room to enjoy the coffee in the morning. Pan fish were not to be had (as it is August), but we did catch a bass and had a few musky follows. The teenagers also enjoyed tubing on the lake. The hosts were also good with responding to questions we had along the way and made sure to make us feel welcome with some campfire wood and a bottle of wine too! Thanks!

Awesome family cabin

We took our kids & grandkids to the Smith cabin for four nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kayaks, sauna, corn hole & fire pit were great. We also rented a pontoon from Big Bear rental that was hassle free. It's a quiet lake (unless you count all of the Loons :-). It was a great family get a way for us!
