Villa de campagne de luxe près de la mer, piscine chauffée, tennis et parc

La Ganzeria est une nouvelle villa construite sur la colline de l'ancien pavillon de chasse du marquis de Ganzeria. Cet hôtel de luxe bénéficie d'une vue incomparable sur la côte sud de la Sicile. Du phare du Cap Blanco à Punta Secca d'Agrigente, vous aurez une vue sur plus de 100 km de côtes.
La Ganzeria est située à Santa Croce Camerina dans la province de Ragusa sur la côte sud de la Sicile face à la mer en Afrique.


La Villa est située au centre d'un domaine de plus de 10 hectares complètement clôturé et équipé, dans le cadre le plus pittoresque de la campagne sicilienne, entre caroubiers, murs en pierre sèche et herbes méditerranéennes typiques. Il est équipé d'une piscine privée, de grands espaces ouverts, d'un jardin privé avec pelouse équipé d'un barbecue et de jeux pour enfants.
Mais c’est à l’intérieur de la villa que l’on voit sa splendeur, avec ses 6 chambres toutes avec salle de bain privée et une exposition extraordinaire de plus de 120 mètres carrés ouverte sur une vue à couper le souffle.


Le cœur de la villa est le grand salon avec cuisine et coin repas, deux espaces de repos et de lecture et une grande table de billard. Dehors, sous le porche couvert, vous trouverez une grande cuisine pour préparer vos repas et idéalement utilisée comme coin repas dans un endroit frais mais abrité.
Dans un autre salon extérieur, vous pourrez vous détendre en plein air tout en admirant le coucher de soleil sur la mer de Sicile devant vous.
Les chambres sont au nombre de six et ont toutes été conçues dans l’intention de recréer les éléments naturels de notre terre, «Eau», «Air», «Terre», «Feu», «Bois» et «Pierre».
Toutes les chambres sont équipées de salle de bain privée 'en suite', privée climatisée et meublée avec style et confort.
La piscine de 12 * 6 mètres est exposée au sud et le splendide panorama des arômes des herbes s’ajoute autour du jardin. la piscine est chauffée.
Le domaine en plus des différents chemins qui serpentent autour des plantes typiques de la région, vous trouverez un court de tennis et quelques zones ombragées pour votre livre ou sirotez légèrement un verre de vin.
La mer est à 3 km et le centre du village avec tous les services à moins de 1 km.

Fantastic holiday with family. A lovely spacious and clean property that catered for all our needs. It does need a little updating, particularly the bedrooms but nonetheless we had no issues with the villa and throughly enjoyed our stay there. It was very close distance to the marina which we loved and not far from Ragusa, which we also visited for the day and was beautiful. We booked the chef for an evening and the food was delicious so thank you. Finally, thank you to the hosts, the communication was excellent and always very helpful.

Very Nice house

We enjoyed a week with our family. All together 11 persons. The house ar spaceous and all of the 6 bedrooms have ensuite bathroom. Clean and tidy. Very Nice and helpful host.

A spectacular house

A very nice big house with possibility to stay outside and inside for all 12 of us. Beds for 12 adults in big bedrooms. The bathrooms could need better cleaning. Rosario and son are very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed the week!

This experience was exactly as advertised. Rosario made us very welcome, spoke good English and the rest of his family were charming and helpful. We had a great time which include three generations of our family coming together as one. We went to see Montalbano’s house and enjoyed everything about the local Sicilian culture. Family vacation

The villa was beautiful. We arrived in 4 different vehicles from the airport. Only 2 of us found the villa as it has no physical address. Once found all was good. Perhaps a sign at the road to assist in finding the villa. The large outdoor table was our home for the 2 weeks and the pool for cooling off and the magnificent sunsets. We had arranged to have a chef for a number of meals, he was fabulous and we always had leftovers for the next day. Any questions we had were quickly addressed. I would recommend for family vacations.

Sumptuous Sicilian Retreat

Stunning elevated position providing sea views and the utmost privacy, approached along a private gated drive and just a 5/10 minute drive from the Mediterranean Sea. Rosario the owner has been a pleasure to deal with, helpful at all times, really understands how to look after his guests. His friend Salvo is now our friend! From organising a private boat excursion to our final day in a luxury retreat with a pool as we had an evening flight, nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile :) Lots of interesting towns within a 30 minute drive including Ragusa Ibla and Modica and nearby Marina di Ragusa with a sandy beach and huge choice of restaurants - a fish lovers paradise! This part of Sicily is less well known to UK residents although I would thoroughly recommend this destination for a more continental holiday style. Rosario and Salvo, a heart felt thank you from all the family, a memorable trip for all the right reasons! :)

Lovely Villa in a quiet location

This is a good villa in a quiet location away from the main tourist areas. Pros: - communication and knowledge of owners: recommended restaurants and sites to visit. - outstanding views from the Villa - the sunsets! - local sandy beaches within 10 min drive - quiet location - great local restaurants (favourite was Sabor) - responsive of owners to respond to issues (we had some issues with the drains) - outdoor areas and lovely, large pool. -Space in and around the Villa. -Marina Di Ragusa Cons - No footpaths or local walks so a car is definitely needed. - main Sicilian tourist sites (Mount Etna, Valley of the Temples etc.) over 2 hour drive away. - The photographs of the Villa were taken over ten years ago and the Villa has not been updated since. Bedroom floors, furniture and decor is looking tired and in need of replacement. We found the beds and furniture uncomfortable. Few mugs and glasses in an otherwise fairly well stocked kitchen. - The outdoor areas are westerly facing, so once the sun drops lower in the sky the high temperatures mean that it is almost unbearable to sit under them and enjoy an evening meal. We ended up eating inside most nights. Some shade curtains would be useful. Overall we had a great holiday on Sciliy, thanks to the Villa and its owners. It was very hot (over 35c every day) which affected what we did. One disappointment about the whole island was the fact that local residents use roads and lay-bys to dump rubbish.

Great venue for a holiday with friends

Just returned from a 10 day holiday at the Villa , we were lucky with the weather and really lucky with the Villa, it was great for a large group, we were all able to find space to do our own thing or to meet up by the pool or the terrace or the tennis courts, the perfect mix in fact. The Villa is set in its grounds that are large enough to be used to run a few circuits or just for a gentle stroll. There was plenty of wildlife to keep the "younger" members of the party engaged (Horse, Chickens and Fish). As previous reviews have mentioned, you need a car in order to get anywhere, we risked the walk once and it was not a pleasant experience. Probably worth mentioning that the area itself is not geared towards tourists, whilst at first this may seem a bit disconcerting, after a few days it becomes endearing, if you want anything you have to search for it, the word we all came to that describes the area is "authentic". Several of the party fell in love with both Ragusa and Modicia definitely worth a visit. There are a few things that you need to know, they may come across as negative and i apologise for that, it is my intention to inform. The Villa is sold as luxury and it truly is, the space and the facilities are perfect, however, some of the equipment is looking a bit tired and may be due for a refresh. We had issues with the flush on 3 of tghe 6 toilets, the kitchen equipment was a bit less than was required to cater for a large party and within the luxury price bracket i would have expected a daily cleaner and clean towels and sheets each day. Non of this got in the way of a really good holiday it is just my perception of what luxury means. The host Rosario was great and attentive, any problems were quickly resolved by his side kick Toninio, all in all a great holiday and would do it again

We had a really great week in this villa ! Rosario and his son were here for us and quickly explained everything we needed to know, and everything was as we expected it. I would recommend it 100% if you want a calm, relaxing and clean place to stay for your holidays.

Très belle villa pour un groupe d'amis

Rosario a été très disponible et nous à aidé à quelques reprises. Nous étions un groupe de 9 adultes et on avait notre espace tellement la maison est grande. La maison est très bien équipée. Elle est située dans un village où on retrouve tous les services requis. De plus, la position est centrale pour visiter la région. (Marina di Ragusa, Modica, etc) Les plages de cette région sont très belles comparée à la région de Catane. La température en septembre nous a permis de manger à l'extérieur tous les jours. Nous avions une belle vue et de très beaux coucher de soleil.

Fantastic stay

We stayed for 8 nights and enjoyed the perfect view and outdoor area. Furthermore, Rosario organized a Bluetooth speaker for us and send engineers, when something didn't work. Only the jacuzzi picture is a bit misleading because it is not included.

Very beautiful, private and comfortable

We were a family of 16 staying at this lovely villa. It was very well equipped; enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and barbecue. A bathroom attached to every bedroom was a huge plus, plus an air conditioner in every room. Managers attending the property were always available and quickly responded to any of our needs. Close to a magnificent beach with white sand and warm sea. Town square had many stores for eating or purchasing clothing or souvenirs. I booked this property 1 year ahead of our trip and very pleased I did. Can’t go wrong with this fabulous villa!

Great villa in a peaceful location

The villa is set in lovely grounds with pleasant views across to the sea and the local town. It's very peaceful and quiet. The outdoor living area is very spacious and well shaded, with a large pool and tennis court as an added bonus (racquets provided). Inside, the villa is large and well appointed with air con in every room. Whilst the local roads are not safe to walk (making a car essential) you are well placed from there to explore several unspoilt beach resorts and beautiful historical hill villages and towns. Nearby Marina di Ragusa has many good restaurants and excellent beaches. We had a great holiday and would highly recommend Villa Ganzeria.

What an enjoyable experience!

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Villa La Ganzeria. What made it really special was the villa itself with its adjoining swimming pool. The villa was spectacular in design, beautifully decorated, really comfortable and so well appointed. It was extraordinarily well equipped with a huge emphasis on detail. It had a superb kitchen inside with a second one nearby which adjoined the outside barbecue. The accommodation was ideal for our group. We were a party of twelve and there was plenty of space and privacy for everybody. The leisure/recreation facilities were exceptional and the whole area was so well laid out - it provided us with lots of opportunities to eat both inside and outside. The bedrooms were a delight. When we arrived, there wasn't a hair out of place. Rosario and Alessandra were so helpful throughout.

A fantastic villa in great location - great host!

We took this villa for a family holiday for a week in early September (just returned) and had a wonderful time. The villa owner is a very friendly and approachable contact who speaks excellent English and couldn't have been more helpful to us either during the booking process, the run up to our trip and whilst on site. He provided details of the area, assistance when a member of the group was ill and required quick medical attention locally as well as local recommendations. The villa itself in located a short drive outside of Marina di Ragusa and was a fantastic spot. It was a little tricky to find at first (the villa owner was readily available to assist), however once found we were greeted with spectacular views, an excellent clean villa and great facilities. I often worry that the pictures on these adverts won't accurately reflect the property - not so with this place. It really is excellent. The property was very clean, well maintained and we had great service including a mid week clean and regular pool cleaning etc. All rooms in the house are independently air conditioned (a must for us) and are large and comfortable. The central area of the house is very modern, a great size and offered ample space for 9 of us. We spent the majority of our time outside, regularly using the outdoor BBQ and eating at the outdoor table on the covered area. Again loads of space and a great place. Cannot really fault our stay at all - we will be returning! Thank you again.
