The house was good, but Franco and his team made the stay great.

The house was good, but Franco and his team made the stay great. He was so kind, and was way more service oriented than what is reasonable to expect. Kudos to Alessandro also, a handyman with what seemed to us to be an unlimited skill set. Great holiday. A little note, the house is a couple of km from Scicli centre, so I would absolutely recommend to rent a car.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had the most wonderful stay at this Villa and Franco was a wonderful host. He was very responsive and gave us great tips for our visit. Our family of 12 had a lovely time visiting Sicily and Villa Palazzolla was perfect, clean and made our trip memorable. We would definitely recommend it and will stay again if we visit that part of Sicily again.

Overall we all had a fantastic time at Villa Palazzola. Its spacious, comfortable, had a fantastic pool and has wonderful views down to the coast. The grounds are very well maintained and we enjoyed the feeling of space and being in open countryside, but its only about 10 minutes from Scicli, so very easy to go into town in the evening, or down to the coast which was only about 5 miles away.

We were a family party of eight. We had a wonderful week at the Villa. The villa was very well equipped and clean. The outside area from the veranda adjacent to the kitchen where we ate every night, lawns and garden, to the pool area, were all beautifully kept. It was generally very quiet, save from a few local dogs barking from time to time.Our host Franco was great, he was very welcoming, meeting us on our arrival, giving us a comprehensive guided tour and advice about the area. Franco and the team also made sure that any initial niggles that we had were fixed within hours.We also made a couple of late afternoon trips to a local coastal town - Donnalucata, after the hottest part of the day was over and spent a few hours on the lovely sandy beach and also had a meal at one of the beach-side restaurants.A great stay in a great villa which we highly recommended. We plan to return.

The villa is spacious and generally well equipped. The aircon worked very well and the outside spaces, including pool, were fabulous and well maintained. Inside was a little "tired" and could do with some attention in places (some peeling paint and wallpaper in some areas and some shutter louvres hard to open/close) but nothing that couldn't easily be rectified. The villa was generally clean but the oven grill in the kitchen was in need of a deep clean - luckily we only needed it on our first morning when we discovered there was no toaster. The wifi was a little inconsistent but I guess it's a common issue in rural areas in Sicily - restarting the router worked though. The star of the whole show however was Franco - he was extremely helpful at all times and always available via whatsapp to answer queries or give recommendations etc. He also ensured we were provided with a toaster and was kind enough to agree to buy some provisions for us so we had some food for our first breakfast, so five stars to Franco! I should also add that Scicli is a gorgeous little town with some fantastic restaurants, shops, bars, churches and architecture and very friendly people.

Bellissima villa ubicata in posizione ideale sopra Scicli. Molto ben tenuta, pulita e rifornita di tutto. Accoglienza ottima e gentilissima. Personale sempre pronto ad aiutare in caso di bisogno! Abbiamo tutti (12) vissuto una vacanza stupenda.

We are a group who love to explore beautiful places. our preference goes to nature above city life. Oriented Nature Reserve Oasis of Vendicari with the beautiful birds was the place we stayed at for the whole days. The lava fields around Mount Etna is astonishing beautiful. We had the time of our life. food of all kind to be found, for each of us something of our own. Our stay at the villa offered us a a warm welcome after our fields trips and we had beautiful sleep at nights.Sicily has met our expectations.

This villa is quite big and every section of it has met the need of my family. Furnished in style and comfort. Sicily is a marvelous place to be with its historical landmarks and astonishing beautiful beaches. Besides our own home cooked meals we had the privilege to indulge ourselves in the traditional drink called Amaro Averno and the meals according to Sicilys own recipe that carried us away to bygone times. History and culture are widely present. There is always something to do during your vacation.

The villa is spacious, comfortable and offers every comfort for todays traveler. On arrival, we were welcomed by a very friendly hostess who knows how to serve her customers. We made the most of our stay, which was supplemented by a visit to the beach, the local restaurants, and the many sightseeings. The island is amazingly beautiful too. We are happy to give this villa a big thumbs up. Everything in top condition
