Cette belle 3 chambres rénovée est située directement en face d'un nid de pygargue à tête blanche actif sur le côté calme du lac Canadohta. À seulement 300 pieds de la propriété privée au bord du lac avec quai et pavillon et à quelques minutes en voiture du côté animé du lac où vous pourrez profiter de la patinoire à rouleaux Canadohta, du Putt-R-Golf, de la plage gratuite ou du toboggan à l'étang de grenouille. Beaucoup d'endroits pour manger autour de la région, y compris le Fisherman's Tavern, Happy Jax, The Frog Pond ou The Bear Inn. La ville d'Erie est à moins d'une heure où vous pouvez profiter de tous les commerces et les aventures que votre coeur peut désirer. Lorsque toutes les activités amusantes sont terminées et qu'il est temps de vous détendre, détendez-vous près du feu de camp tout en grillant quelques guimauves avec vos amis et votre famille, ou traînez au bord du lac et profitez du calme et de la sérénité de la nature. The host is very nice and communicated well. The firepit and pavilion are great being close to the lake. The kitchen table is very spacious. The rooms are very clean. We appreciate that the rental is pet friendly.

Every year there are improvements and the cabin is perfect for our family. My husband uses a walker and a wheelchair now and it's perfect for him except the step up at the back door but that even proved to be easy. You couldn't ask for a nicer place and all the neighbors are nice.

The Bluejay was exactly as expected. We had a very nice stay even though the weather didn’t cooperate. The cabin was roomy and clean and comfortable.

Excellent place to stay with large family and pets. Huge equipped kitchen, lots of beds, fire rings and lakeside area. Very well maintained and clean. We have stayed here multiple times and will come back again.

The Blue Jay

We totally enjoyed our stay at The Blue Jay at Canadohta Lake. It was spotless when we arrived and we felt very welcome. It was our 3rd year in a row staying there and never fails to impress us. From the morning breakfast to the evening campfire every day we loved our stay at The Blue Jay.

Wonderful experience. The house was clean, spacious and cozy. Lots of things to do around the lake. The lake front pavilion and dock really put this place over the top! We will be back for sure.

Loved the Blue Jay!

We had a great week at the Blue Jay, The place was clean and spacious. Well equipped kitchen and the table was wonderful not only for meals but for evening game time. We loved the Gazebo and lakeside access.

It’s a little confusing to find but every neighbor up here are very friendly and helpful. This was my first time back in canadohta in 30 yrs. I can’t believe how much I missed it! I promise you, I will not be waiting another 30 to revisit. Brandan was very attentive and helpful. You won’t be disappointed! We walked down to the pavilion by the lake (just a short walk) sat for a few hours playing board games.. that were provided by the rental. My son n his girlfriend took the paddle boat around the lake! Trust me when I say… this place is a keeper! You’ll thank me later!!

Nice House Near The Lake

We enjoyed our stay at the blue jay for a long weekend. The boat dock was a quick 5 minute drive and our dog loved swimming there every day. We enjoyed making dinner at the house and night caps on the front porch. A great getaway!

We had a great weekend. The cottage is clean. We had plenty of yard space for the dogs and the neighbors are friendly. We got to go for a boat ride on the lake and watch Steeler football at the Frog Pond. Shopping is convenient. Loved nights by the fire pits.

My sister and I are joint owners of The Blue Jay. We inherited the home in 2011. I currently live in Colorado with my wife, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. My sister lives in Mill Village with her husband, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. We both grew up in The Blue Jay on Canadohta Lake.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Our grandfather started going to Canadohta Lake in the 1940's and met our grandmother at the Canadohta Roller Rink. They raised 4 boys and 1 girl and spent their summers camping in the small field adjacent to The Blue Jay. They eventually saved up enough money to buy The Blue Jay. A few years later they began to buy a few small cottages in the area and rent them out by the week. When my grandparents became ill, sadly the small cottages had to be sold off to cover medical expenses. The Blue Jay was the last remaining cottage in the family. In 1998 an addition was built onto The Blue Jay to create a year round home. My sister and I were raised in The Blue Jay the majority of our adolescent lives. In 2011 our father passed and we inherited The Blue Jay, becoming 3rd generation owners. We began to remodel The Blue Jay in 2016 and completed in early June 2018. The Blue Jay was officially open for weekly summer rentals mid June 2018. We are thrilled to carry on our grandparent's legacy and get back into the rental business so families like ours can create lasting memories at Canadohta Lake for years to come.
