Il s’agit d’une communauté active de plus de 55 ans occupant un emplacement hautement souhaitable au cœur de Oro Valley, en Arizona, à 5 minutes de Tucson. La communauté a construit des maisons et des maisons construites sur place. À distance de marche des magasins, des épiceries et Riverfront Park est en face de la maison. L'espace

Cette maison préfabriquée a été entièrement reconstruite en mars 2017. C'est l'un des rares lots de premier ordre qui font face aux montagnes avec une terrasse de 350 pieds carrés pour s'asseoir et profiter de la vue. Ceci est une maison entièrement meublée et rénovée de 1300 pieds carrés mfgd. Apportez simplement vos vêtements! La grande salle a une salle à manger formelle, un espace de bureau, et une salle familiale / zone de télévision. Master suite a une salle de bain privée avec une baignoire et une douche, son et ses vanités avec des comptoirs en granit. Vous devez voir cette maison pour croire à la beauté du décor et de l'espace. Grande buanderie avec évier et entrée extérieure. Vous pouvez apporter votre véhicule récréatif, votre bateau, etc. Il y a une place de parking !!

C'est une communauté sans animaux et un locataire doit avoir 55 ans et plus.
La maison a une location minimale de 3 mois lors de la réservation pour les mois de janvier et février chaque année.

Services

Very clean community. Used the jacuzzi many times. Only complaint would be tv had just local channels. No sports channels. Streaming service was available and used some.

Hello Tom, Thank you for giving the community a clean, good review. Though you forgot to mention anything about my home being clean and/or nice. I don't understand how you could complain in public about the TV stations, when my listing clearly states that there is only basic cable and a Fire TV for streaming. I could understand such a complaint if something was different than you read that you were getting in the listing. This is half the price of a Motel 6 and I do not know if they give you ESPN. If you need sports while traveling, in case you are not aware, most people have a subscription they take with them wherever they go. Might be a good option for you when you travel. Also you, nor I, did not mention that I had to go over to fix a mistake you made on my TV electric which could have broken it, that was stated not to do in the home instructions. I was very attentive to the TV and other needs. Thanks for staying at my place. Kathleen

over priced and very tired unit

the property looked good until we got settled in then the issues started to show up, The unit is only a bit off of a very busy roadway that has traffic at all hrs, the living room couches are mid 70 models well past their prime by 30 yrs, they look nice but the springs leave you sitting nearly on the floor, the patio furniture was of same era and the lounge chair was chalky, the cushion was very weather checked and rotten as were the feet on all the chairs leaving them uneven. the on-suite sink is mostly plugged and drains very slowly.as does the spare bathroom toilet. the grill that they listed was also a 70s model that had no heat capacity and would not stay lit if both burners were going...took 40 minutes to cook a salmon fillet, I informed her and she replied that she just bought it 6mo ago and they said it worked just fine...therefore what we said apparently was not true. via ph she said checkin was 2pm we were traveling so thought we would be there about three, we arrived at 2:30 and they had only just arrived to start cleaning, said come back at 3:30. The place had dust and dirt buildup on baseboards and corners, windows very dirty, closet doors don't close and loose handles, shelves dusty, termites or something caused kitchen floor to be soft in many places. After having a late check-in she informed us that we would need to check out early so she could clean for the next guests.and she wanted us to wash the bedding before we left...it only took her an hr to clean for us but now she would need 6 to clean for the next group????...we do not recommend this unit.

Beautiful View

This home was great, had all the amenities I needed. Open concept for the living, kitchen and office was very welcoming. The location was easy to get to and plenty of parking. Great neighborhood, I felt very safe. The pool was awesome and I enjoyed it as much as I could. I sat on the patio each morning watching the sunrise over the mountains with my cup of coffee and will cherish those memories. Kathleen was a great host and attentive to my needs.

Okay but not great.

Kathleen is super sweet! I was disappointed in the furnishings which seemed hodge podged/miss matched. The floor was beautifully redone but it was like they put it over a rotten floor and there were soft spots that you sunk into. The dining chairs were broken and she didn’t give us a heads up and we could have really hurt ourselves. She brought new furniture while we were there and just left the old furniture stashed around the house and on the patio and she came in while we weren’t there several times. When we had a medical emergency and had to stay longer she offered to rent us her house. We appreciated that but wanted others to know what to expect. The Park and amenities were lovely!

Amazing View of the Mountains!

First trip to the Tucson area and decided to stay in Oro Valley just north of downtown Tucson. Great area! We stayed in the Highlands 55+ community in Kathleen's manufactured home and the backyard had an amazing view. The neighborhood was very quiet. We didn't take advantage of any of the amenities (pool, shuffleboard, etc.) but I'm sure it would have been fun. Kathleen met us for check in and gave us a tour of her house and also the community areas. It was very helpful. We had everything that we needed and if we did have a question, Kathleen responded quickly to our text. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Shocked at this! The home decor is identical to the pictures posted on VRBO. If you did not like Mediterranean style furniture and colors, you should not have booked it. I asked Often, if you needed anything and if all was good. Your response was everything was great. You looked for a reason to knock the home due to questioning y water usage changes, obviously since you left a plumber’s business card as a hint. Obviously this upset you and realized the home was monitored. House cleaner has not reported torn sheets and towels. I went and checked.. out of 4 sets of sheets, one bottom, had a tiny hole. And one kitchen towel with holes which must have recently happened. All you had to do was tell me about it. Obviously, you went out to ruin some bodies business, so I will not be the only one not hosting you in the future . Kathleen

Great location

The property is very well maintained with lots of outdoor activities including a beautiful pool, hot tub, bocce, putting, shuffleboard, etc. The unit was nice and large with a great deck and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. For hiking enthusiasts, the unit is very close to Catalina State Park and within a short drive to other hiking areas including The beautiful Sabino Canyon Recreational Area. Kathleen was responsive to all our requests and communication was easy through the VRBO app. Thanks for a great vacation Kathleen!

Awesome Views, Friendly Neighbors, Plenty of Room

1 week stay - Mid October, for daughter's wedding. Kathleen's place has plenty of room inside & a large deck for enjoying the views both in the mornings or evenings. There have been some updates that the pictures do not show, like the kitchen island & the large patio table & chairs that have been added. Only wish I had time to enjoy the community center & pool!

Heart of the Oro Valley Great place

We loved the community and the location. The modular home is very beautifully updated, and has everything a home needs. The Views out the rear are incredible. Neighbors are friendly. The pool, spa, and amenities are very gracious. We are going to stay another few months, we like it so much. Kathleen is a great hostess and is very tentative and keeps he home immaculate and cared for. Coming back every year!

great place to stay.

This was the perfect place for me. Very nice insides and very well equipped. Clean an neat. I stayed for 2 weeks. The owner was very responsive. Had one issue with the TV ( I think something happened during a lighting storm ) but the owner was right there and fixed it very quickly. The view of the mountain out on the back deck was impressive. Spent a few nights out there eating dinner and watching the storms roll in. Close to everything and a quiet neighborhood.

Nice Getaway Home in the Highlands

This a lovely, two bedroom home, that we stayed in while visiting family in Oro Valley. Kathleen, the owner, was very nice and hospitable. The four of us found the home to be very roomy, nicely decorated and at a convenient location. We look forward to a return stay in the near future!

Property is misrepresented

Unfortunately, this owner describes her property as a 'highly desirable 55+ active adult community of manufactured homes and site built homes". It is a permanent trailer park with both single and double-wide trailers. There were/are no pictures of the outside. My husband and I requested a refund within 2 hours of booking (when we had the address and went to look at the property) but she would not relent. We did not actually stay there because we were afraid she would accuse us of causing damage, thus retaining our damage deposit. She even told us that she had tried to increase the damage deposit (through VRBO). The inside of this property may be fine (and there are many pictures of the interior) but there are no reviews by prior vacationers.
