Belle cabane en rondins au bord du lac sur Eight Point Lake. Détendez-vous ou amusez-vous dans le lac!

Cabane en rondins rustique authentique sur le lac 8-Point dans le Michigan avec 100 pieds de façade sur le lac. Profitez du lac pour tous les sports et de la baignade dans le lac au fond de sable clair situé à quelques pas. Admirez les magnifiques couleurs de l'automne ou allez jouer au golf sur de nombreux terrains de golf à proximité. Eight Point Lake comprend une rampe de mise à l'eau accessible au public et est approvisionné en poisson chaque année. Nous avons également un quai pour amarrer votre bateau. En été, partez sur le sentier de vélo / randonnée à proximité ou faites du vélo ou du 4x4 autour du lac. Regardez les magnifiques couchers de soleil sur le Michigan depuis un brasier au coin du feu ou au coin du feu au bord de l'eau. C'est le temps des vacances!

De belles vues sur le lac peuvent être vus de toute la façade du chalet. Peut accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes entre 3 chambres à coucher; 1 chambre avec lit Queen au premier étage; Loft à l'étage a 1 BR avec la reine; 1 BR avec 2 jumeaux; 2 jumeaux dans la zone commune. Il y a 1 salle de bain à l'étage principal avec une douche. Cuisine mise à jour avec des fournitures. La cabane en rondins historique comprend une cheminée en pierre qui fonctionne dans la grande salle.

Nous sommes à environ 2 miles en vélo du sentier ferroviaire Pere Marquette qui relie Midland à Baldwin, MI. Vous pouvez également faire du vélo ou marcher autour du lac entier. Il y a des restaurants à proximité avec des entreprises pour acheter des produits d'épicerie et des nécessités. Un stand de produits locaux est également disponible pendant la saison de croissance.

Nous avons de nombreux terrains de golf dans la région, y compris le difficile Eagle Glen GC, à seulement 10 minutes. Mt. Pleasant est à seulement 30 miles au sud où il y a encore plus de terrains de golf, restaurants et autres activités. Il contient également le Soaring Eagle Casino et tous les événements qui y sont associés. Central Michigan University est également une source de divertissement avec des événements programmés tout au long de l'année. Clare est à 20 minutes pour plus de restaurants, boulangeries et autres lieux de shopping dans les petites villes. Les propriétaires vivent à côté si vous avez des questions.

Beautiful and spacious log cabin

This place was well stocked and clean. We had plenty of room to sleep and relax. The deck overlooking the lake was a favorite spot. If you wake up early the sun shines in and lights up the whole common area. It was beautiful.

Cabin was clean and cozy. Exactly what you picture when you say you want a cabin on the lake! We will be back! Thank you to the cotters they were amazing host! Water level was low but we made it work with our pontoon, as most Michigan lakes are right now.

This was our 3rd summer visit and it did not disappoint. The spacious cabin is very clean, well supplied, and directly on a perfect lake for swimming, boating, or just relaxing. We highly recommend for a wonderful lakeside vacation.

Lovely log home with a view

This historic log cabin is welcoming and updated for a relaxing vacation on the lake. The lakefront is shallow and sandy and perfect for swimming. Views from the deck and front of the cottage are priceless! We look forward to staying here again next summer.

Lovely log home with a view

We spent an amazing weekend in this historical log cabin with beautiful lake views from inside as well as from the deck. It was clean and well stocked with a modern kitchen and bath. We really enjoyed the roomy, rustic living area. It provided a perfect place to enjoy a September weekend of fall colors and unexpected warm temps. We look forward to a return visit.

Great stay

the cottage is very nice. We always bring items we need at other rentals. We found we did not need to. You will not find better location and access to all your needs while staying on Eight Point Lake. This by far was our best location, cottage, and great hosts. We highly recommend renting this cottage.

The cottage and the property were very nice. There was plenty of room and it met all of our expectations. The bed in the downstairs bedroom was very comfy and I slept well the whole time. The only thing I would mention as far as improvements would be adding a banister to the stairs going to the second floor.

The property was lovely, but unfortunately we had to leave as the lake was treated with chemicals and we couldn’t swim the days we were scheduled to be there. This out a bit of a damper on our vacation.

We are sorry this happened during your stay. We have no control as to when this happens. You did receive a refund for more than the 2 days left of your reservation which is the least we can do. I know it put a damper on your vacation and again we are sorry. Our calendar next year will be adjusted so it doesn’t happen again.

Relaxing stay

We brought our boat but didn't end up putting it in because the lake level was way down (the water was about ankle deep at the end of the dock). The property owners were diligent about offering solutions that would have allowed us to tie it off offshore, but we chose not to do so. Not putting the boat into the water turned out to be a good thing. We got the chance to just relax in the comfortable outdoor chairs sitting along the shoreline and a couple times by the fire (thanks for providing firewood (nice bonus)). We visited many of the local dives (I mean that in a good way) in some of the small towns nearby. Had some incredible meals and maybe one or two average ones! Having been to nearby areas before, we knew what to expect which is what really makes this part of Michigan so relaxing. The kitchen is modern and well stocked. There's even a Keurig now! A basting brush was about the only item we found missing for our needs (BBQ sauce (mmm)), The house is well appointed, but most the sofas and chairs were well past the sell-by date for comfort level (the padding is well worn out). However, as frequent renter I can say that this does seem to be almost always the case for furniture. Get out of the house, right? Good idea. A gas grill is provided. The hosts are next door and are super friendly, helpful and respectful of your privacy. It was a really relaxing experience.
