Maison Ă  flanc de montagne avec une vue imprenable sur la montagne adirondack

NichĂ© dans les montagnes des Adirondacks, notre maison de montagne isolĂ©e offre une vue imprenable sur Whiteface Mountain. Il y a des sentiers disponibles pour la randonnĂ©e, la raquette et le ski de fond Ă  proximitĂ© pour votre plaisir. La pĂȘche de classe mondiale est disponible sur la branche ouest de la riviĂšre Au Sable. Un trajet de cinq minutes vous amĂšnera Ă  Whiteface Mountain, qui abrite le plus grand dĂ©nivelĂ© vertical de l'Est et qui accueille les Ă©preuves de ski des Jeux olympiques d'hiver de 1980 Ă  Lake Placid. Notre maison a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour une escapade tranquille ou aventureuse Ă  la montagne.

La maison offre cinq chambres et est adaptĂ©e aux enfants. Il comprend une cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e et deux ponts oĂč vous pourrez vous dĂ©tendre et profiter de la vue, de la paix et de l'isolement.

Wonderful stay here! We had a great time at the house and in a great location to everything nearby. The views during the day and stars at night were a great plus to the house. Everything was in order and would gladly stay again!

Fabulous family adventure

We are long-time visitors to the Adirondacks and we chose this property for its proximity to whiteface mountain, which a group of us wanted to climb, and for its size, which could accommodate all of us. We had a wonderful time, climbing, swimming in the ausable river, exploring various hikes, cooking together, and just relaxing in the beautiful great room. A wonderful property!

Great stay with fabulous view

This house is very private and quiet with a geat view of Whiteface. Close to Lake Placid, Wilmington, and Ausable. Good restaurants nearby, as are grocery shopping and farmers markets. Perfect spot to stay in the Eastern ADK.

Great for families

Beautiful house and view and location

View of Whiteface and surrounding hills while gas fireplace warms the room is magic. Very quiet location, easy to get to Wilmington and Lake Placid. Lots of rooms and gameroom downstairs, 4 bathrooms (3 with showers), just a beautiful spot to stay.

Comfortable house with attached 2-car garage for moving in/out in inclement weather. Location near Whiteface and Lake Placid plus easy access to I-87. Good restaurants and groceries are close by. Very quiet location. Screened in porch for dining.

Huge cabin with great views for a friend reunion

Thank you for such a great stay! The house was perfect for several groups/families to stay together. Lots of bedrooms, bathrooms, space, and large gathering spaces for everyone to hang out! The views from the deck were gorgeous. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Located in a great spot near many hikes, shops, and things to do! Will definitely book again!

Family Thanksgiving

Perfect mountain getaway

4 generations of family!

We spent 4 nights here for a family get together! We had several levels of hikers take to the trails. We enjoyed visiting Lake Placid and Whiteface. The house was comfortable for 15 of us. We cooked and ate all of our meals at this beautifully equipped and well layed out house!

Excellent Accommodations

We we there with out ski team to participate in the U14 Super G race at Whiteface. The house was exactly what we needed for our team. We had plenty of room to spread out when needed but also large enough space to all be together to hang out. It was a wonderful weekend. Thank you.

I'm Catherine. I've been coming up to the Adirondack since before I can remember. I call it my outdoor playground. My husband and I finally bought a house up here to retire to, but until then I'm going to rent it out to you fine folks. I hope you enjoy the home as much as me and my family does.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Please look at the photos from the living room sofa. And I will tell you now, it is even more stunning in person. This house also has a great location for all year round activities. We are about 20 minutes from Lake Placid and 20 minutes or less to most high peak trail heads. Or if you are a skier, like I am, you are also about 5 minutes to Whiteface.

I am also VRBO renter and I was always frustrated when owners counted a pull out couch or couch as a bed! You will not find that here we have 9 beds in total and four rooms to accommodate different couples.

We also have ping pong, fuzzball, corn hole (bean bag toss), and many board games.
