Ocean Cottage 39 Bienvenue à Halekulani ... Ce 4 chambres, 3. 5 chalet de bain est un paradis pour les amoureux de la plage! Ce chalet dispose d'une suite parentale au premier étage et de trois chambres d'hôtes au deuxième étage. Le premier étage a une cuisine ouverte qui se jette dans la salle à manger spacieuse et le salon principal. La cuisine est équipée d'appareils Bosch en acier inoxydable, d'une cafetière Keurig et de tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour divertir vos invités. Ce chalet offre un accès facile à un garage de la cuisine. Le salon, doté d'une cheminée à gaz, mène au grand porche inférieur ainsi qu'à la suite principale (KING). Finir le premier étage est un demi-bain et combo laveuse et sécheuse. Hors du palier du deuxième étage est un petit coin salon, parfait pour se détendre avec un bon livre. Deux ensuites (King & Queen) s'ouvrent sur un grand balcon avec des chaises longues et des sièges confortables. Il y a aussi une troisième chambre avec un lit jumeau. Ce cottage dispose de nombreux équipements fantastiques, tels qu'une vue à 180 degrés depuis le balcon, 4 chaises de plage et une télévision connectée dans trois chambres et deux vélos pour adultes.

Ce chalet est le plan d'étage "Osprey" et peut accueillir 7 personnes.

GESTION SUR SITE

Accès à la plage: La poursuite du projet de réhabilitation du revêtement de recouvrement de Jekyll Island, dans l’État de Géorgie, a entraîné la perte temporaire de l’accès à la plage de l’eau le long de notre littoral. Il y a toujours un accès à la plage à marée haute, côté terre du revêtement de roche. Nous vous recommandons Driftwood Beach, situé au nord de The Cottages ou à seulement quelques minutes au sud en voiture de la région du parc Great Dunes.

Nous nous excusons pour tout inconvénient que cela pourrait causer pendant votre visite et apprécions votre sous-estimation de l'importance de ce projet.

Very nice accommodation. Great location and quiet beach. Kitchen was well stocked, allowing us to cook meals and enjoy the ocean view from the deck. Sunrises from the balcony were amazing!! Highly recommend!

Great Spring Break

Our family loved the property and our time in Jekyll Island. We had plenty of space for our family of 5, having bathrooms for each bedroom was a big plus for our kids. We enjoyed being able to bike around island. The kitchen had everything we needed and the family enjoyed the large selection of games in the evenings. We would definitely look at staying here again.

Lovely Beach Cottage!

Overall, very nice place. Decorated very nice. Floors in kitchen creaked when walking by the stove and refrigerator. Hard to sneak snacks at night LOL! Saw a few small cobwebs. It was nice to have a full bathroom with each bedroom plus the extra 1/2 bath down stairs. Loved the view right on the water! We did not take advantage of the golf cart and bikes but was nice to have as an option.

Beautiful Oceanfront Cottage

Our stay at this beautiful ocean front cottage was fabulous. Very clean, beautifully decorated, and has the best views of the sunrise and sunset hands down. We will definitely be booking here again the next time we come to Jekyll.

Holiday Beach Trip

Jekyll has always been a favorite place to visit for our family. This townhouse location is in the center if the island which makes it easy to get around. Whether its heading to driftwood beach or down to the shops, the bike trial is right out front. Very well-kept grounds and safe environment. We'll be back!

Annual Golf outing - Great condo

This is our second year staying at cottage 39. We've stayed at other units, but this one is our favorite. Location is great, and the unit has everything you'll need.

Wonderful and relaxing

Cottage number 39 had everything we needed from bikes, chairs and an electric car. We really enjoyed going around the island in this type of transportation.

Spacious and Cozy

The house was beautiful. The kitchen was fully equipped. The living room furniture was more comfortable than mine! Each bedroom was comfortable and cozy with its own en-suite. The views from both the lower and upper patios were breathtaking! Hope to go back.

Beautiful waterfront townhouse is a gem. Would stay here again.

We recently stayed for 4 nights with another couple in this four bedroom townhouse right on the ocean with excellent views from all angles. It is beautifully decorated and well equipped. My girlfriend and I played tennis while our husbands cycled around the island. We would stay here again in a flash. Thank you.

Great family get away!

We loved this beach house! Everything was new and beautiful! It felt like we were in a pottery barn catalog! The well stocked kitchen was especially nice. The only downside was on a rainy day we couldn't figure out how to work the tv. But it really wasn't a problem because there were a lot of great books available to read. We are already making plans to stay again next year!

Top notch home away from home!

We truly loved our stay at this beautiful beachfront home! The views from the living spaces and bedrooms were phenomenal, and the pool and beach access points were very convenient from the cottage. I would absolutely recommend this listing to anyone visiting the island. The only addition I might make to the house is a light blocking shade or curtain to the upstairs king bedroom. The sun comes in very strong in the morning. It’s a perfect way to watch the sunrise, but if you are hoping to sleep in or would like more privacy, the addition of blinds or heavier curtains would be welcome.

Wonderful Beach Week

Our family… ages 7-65 … had an amazing time on Jekyll! The Cottage was perfect! Comfortable, beautiful, spacious and well equipped. The views absolutely amazing! Gorgeous sunrises over the ocean! One day we saw dolphins playing in the surf from our balcony. The location perfect! Steps to the pool and beach access. Quiet and serene… yet lots of fun! Juliana was responsive and helpful with our family vacation… answering questions etc. We are already planning our return trip! Overall excellent!

Best birthday ever

The check in process was effortless. The condo was beautifully decorated and the 3 bedrooms/3.5 baths were perfect for me, my husband and 2 adult children. We loved all the outdoor seating, especially the upstairs porch. We watched the dolphins and the storm from there. We loved exploring the island on the golf cart and riding bikes which I hadn’t done In years. Rode horses on the beach, went to Driftwood Beach, ate some good food and loved sightseeing through the Jekyll island Club and seeing the beautiful “cottages”. Hope Jekyll stays the way it is…no more development!

New favorite place

The neighborhood and unit was quiet and clean. The kitchen was well provisioned for cooking our meals. There was plenty of room to gather all in one place when we wanted or to split up for quiet time when needed. We all enjoyed hearing the ocean so close while we slept. We spent time daily at the beach using the Dunes Park access, made a visit to Driftwood Beach--a must-do!--visited the Sea Turtle Center, walked around the historic area, visited the village, and spent time exploring Jekyll. Saw dolphins one morning at the river wharf. Visited Horton's pond to observe wildlife. Jekyll is mostly unspoiled by overdevelopment and commercialization and the island's residents and businesses pride themselves on trying to keep it that way. We usually stay on St. Simon's and do a daytrip to Jekyll, but we decided this year to switch that. So glad we did. Everyone had a great time and no one wanted to leave. Looking forward to returning another summer.

Family Vacation FLOP

BEWARE! re: Sept.. 2020 family vacay booked in Feb. 2020 (prior to COVID). Occasionally we had questions and asked via email & telephone. Never received timely (or even accurate) responses. Our family vacation was centered around staying at OC #39 "Halekulani". Parker-Kaufman never updated our reservation in the system when we switched cottages from #111 to #39. Their invoice pricing was incorrect & they added in insurance we didn't need or ask for. A week before arrival, we asked about firepit table on balcony. PK said everything was hardwired to gas line. Upon arrival, it was found to be a propane tank that was completely empty. We paid to have it filled, though we ended up not using it at all due to high winds in the area. Most troubling of all: the refrigerator was found to be freezing all its contents & we brought this to the attention of the prop mgmt co. immediately. Literally showed them in person how our fresh meats, produce, gallon of milk, half gallon juices, EVERYTHING was frozen solid & totally unusable. We were told on the spot by mgmt, "I'll be honest with you, the chance the repair company will come out and fix this during your stay is 99% not going to happen". We said ok, we would eat out - but we would need to be compensated for the $220+ groceries that were loaded into the fridge less than 12 hours earlier (prior to realizing the fridge was broken). He said, "no problem, we can do that for you". To date, no one is bothering to return any of our phone calls, emails or text messages. Our family vacation consisted of 5 days/6 nights and we had to eat at restaurants for the duration of our stay, which was quite expensive & not fun with 2 babies in tow. We know we are being understanding, generous & reasonable with simply asking to be reimbursed for cost of the lost groceries and the cost of the propane fuel refill which went totally unused. Quite frankly, this vacation was a NIGHTMARE and we all left a day early since we had no access to any food other than potato chips, crackers and room-temp drinks. I would not recommend a VRBO managed by this company to ANYONE, they have not shown even a shred of professionalism or decency. Even the most reasonable requests were not addressed nor even acknowledged unless hounded. If we hear nothing further on our reasonable request for grocery reimbursement, we will proceed w/taking them to small claims court to recoup the lost funds. Ridiculous. BEWARE of Parker-Kaufman!

Thank you for your review. Management resolved all issues that were within our control and brought to our attention in a timely manner. The propane tank was empty, but you said it was too windy to use anyway. We did reimburse you for your groceries. There is a process in place for refunds and we apologize if it took longer than you anticipated.
