Great Tropical Holiday home

This is an ideal property for convivial family/friends holiday. Great open kitchen adjacent to very spacious indoor & outdoor sitting/dining area. We had great BBQ evenings, enjoyed the pool, close to the beach, close to the village to get fresh bread in the morning and walking distance from stunning beach night life !!! Great for young and old !!

Beautiful paradise

Villa Pachucho is a beautiful property very close to the beach. The pictures describe the property perfectly. The food cooked by the local staff was amazing. The beaches are pristine and various to choose from. There are several restaurants to walk to. I would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing

Stay and accommodation was nice. Although I could do with out the owner requesting a review and subsequently charging us for a rusted door knob breaking after we notified the manager because we didn’t leave a review.

No Alma that's not at all what happened. During your stay you actually broke a door handle that you reported to us quite honestly. This door handle was not rusty and could not be since it was made of aluminum !! At the end of your stay and as it should be, you have been asked by the platform to leave a review but you did not respond to this request. The reviews being for the owners their only means of promotion, I then contacted you in turn to ask you to be kind enough to leave a review, but after about ten days you still hadn't responded. I then contacted you again to offer you in exchange for your review that I forget to ask you for compensation in connection with the broken handle. This was a win-win proposal. But three days later you still have not responded to my proposal. I therefore gave up the idea that you could leave a review on your stay and I therefore sent you the request for compensation to replace the broken handle before the deadline expired. I'm still sorry that you never replied to my multiple messages.

The property and villa were beautiful. Unfortunately, the beauty of the villa was overshadowed by a significant cockroach issue, which is why I am giving this review three stars. The owner stated the house had been professionally fumigated before our arrival; however, when we arrived, we encountered cockroaches throughout the property and ended up staying in a hotel the first night. Unfortunately, the cockroaches also got into our luggage during our stay.We stayed for one week. The villa itself is lovely and in a beautiful setting, but I would not recommend it to anyone who is sensitive to pests or uncomfortable with cockroaches

La villa Pachuco est, comme chacun peut le constater à travers les photos, une maison grande ouverte sur la terrasse, les jardins et les piscines. Elle est de style Caribéen, équipée de "ventanas" et bien entendu dépourvue de baies vitrées traditionnelles comme l'on peut le trouver dans les maisons nouvellement construites. Il s'agit donc de faire son choix avant de faire une réservation afin que celle ci soit effectuée en toute connaissance de cause. Chacun sait que les villas de ce type ne peuvent retenir l'entrée de quelques insectes, précisant qu'aucun d'entre eux, fourmis, araignées, gecko etc... ne présente de caractère nuisible pour la santé ni d'agressivité pour les habitants. Ainsi, la décision de passer une nuit à l'hôtel ne présentait aucun caractère d'obligation ni d'urgence. Nous comprendrons ainsi qu'en en ayant demander le remboursement (que nous avons bien entendu rejeté), le client ait pu se sentir frustré et ait décidé de rapporter un récit exagéré de cette épisode et d'y adosser une note sévère. Ceci démontre une preuve d'inélégance et de rancune qui ne sont pas à l'avantage de ceux qui les manifestent. La VILLA PACHUCO est une villa de style colonial espagnol, fraîche et aérée, située dans un jardin tropical luxuriant de 1700 m².

Little paradise

Villa Pachuco is a little paradise hidden in an alley just a short walk from the beach. The villa consists of the main house with 3 bedrooms and a separate bungalow on the property. There are 2 pools, one for swimmers and one suitable for smaller kids. There is a cleaning service everyday except sunday ans the owner of the property is very kind and helpful.

A wonderful week in a great location. There is an issue with mosquitoes especially at the start and end of the day. Next time I'd bring better repellant than available locally and maybe some other counter measures; light traps or bed nets.

Beautiful Villa

As good as Villa Pachuca looks in the pictures, it is even more beautiful in person. Very spacious living room and kitchen, and a large outdoor dining table and seating area. The backyard is a paradise with many beautiful trees and plants. The villa itself is located less than 2 minutes from the beach by ATV/car, and less than 10 minutes walking. Arnaud made the check-in/out process very easy and China kept the house very clean. I give this property a 10 out of 10 and would highly recommend.

pleasant stay

The house was nice and China was great. The big downside is that the property is described as steps to the ocean/beach. It was not. We had to drive about 5 minutes through not so pretty roads, etc. to get to the beach. There was also behind the house a big swamp of of water and garbage which we believe is why there were so many mosquitos in the house. Would be great if that would be cleaned for health reasons and if the description of the location of the property was more accurate. But the house overall is in good shape and has many good things.

Great Location

Fantastic villa in superb location, about 10 mins walk to the wonderful beach. Accommodation was great for our 3 families and the pool and gardens ideal for the children. Day to day housekeeping was provided by China and was on the whole fine, although there was a shortage of toilet rolls at one point! The manager Arnaud was also very responsive although voice messages rather than direct conversations was a little frustrating at times. Villa Pachuco could be a 5* property but does need upgrades to kitchen and bathrooms before it would gain that accolade in my opinion. Also the chairs and sofas are all stone built with a relatively thin cushion on top so there is nowhere really to sit and be comfortable for any length of time. But overall a great location and we had a really good time there!

The villa was beautiful, well located and close to the beach and also had a lovely pool. We were 9 people and the villa was spacious and very comfortable. We organized a meal for New Year's Eve that was prepared by Nokerli and China and it was very tasty and nicely served. However there were two negatives: when we ran out of toilet tissue we were told we had to supply it ourselves. Considering what it cost to rent the villa for a week, that was ridiculous! The other negative factor was that Las Terrenas was shabby and had a lot of garbage on the streets. Indeed, there was a lot of litter, such as plastic bottles and paper cups, on the beach. That was a shame! Otherwise, our families had a great vacation and enjoyed themselves.

"JUST WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR"

We were looking for a Caribbean vacation to celebrate our 30th anniversary and wanted to experience natural beaches without the stacked condos and resorts. We wanted a good location with privacy and something that we could cook a few meals in. After seeing the pictures and reading the reviews of what villa Pachuco offered, it sounded perfect. After spending 9 nights there, we can say it was exactly what we were looking for and more. We loved the fact that you can walk to the beach, town and plenty of restuarants to choose from. After a couple days of settling in we felt perfectly safe walking at night. Isabelle, the property manager and local expert can answer your questions and help with scheduling any activities or adventures. We rented a vehicle for the week but really did not use it since there are so many things walking distance. Next time we will shuttle from the airport and rent a quad (atv) or motorcycle for the days we want to adventure out more. Our favorite activites were, El Limon, taking photos and snorkeling at Bonita, beach walking, Sunday (family day) at Luis-Coson. This was our first International trip and we enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks Isabelle for everything! Hope to see you soon,

Superbe villa

Nous étions 10 personnes dont 4 adultes et 6 enfants, c'était notre première expérience de voyage avec une villa. Nous avons tout simplement adoré, la villa est superbe et très propre, à proximité de la ville, de la plage. Le terrain aussi est magnifique avec sa piscine qui possède 2 coté séparé creux et pas creux parfait pour soit nager / sauter ou sois chiller dans le pas creux. La maison est très sécuritaire avec son terrain cloturer te le portail à l'entrée. Nous avons manquer de rien, la villa est vraiment adapté au visiteur. Le propriétaire ainsi que le responsable sont très à l'écoute. J'y retournerai sans hésitation! Je la recommande assurément

Un petit coin de paradis...

Villa magnifique ou nous y avons séjourné avec nos enfants. L'accueil est de grande qualité . La maison est d'une grande propreté et très fonctionnelle. La situation géographique est ideal ( à 200 m d'une plage paradisiaque ) Merci à l'equipe d'avoir été au petit soins tout en discretion. La villa pachuco est un petit coin de paradis . Nous recommandons vivement et comptons bien y revenir.

What a Wonderful Vacation !

Our stay at Villa Pachuco exceeded our expectations ! We had been to the Dominican before, and new that the people were so friendly and loyal and that the beaches were spectacular.  The villa was so inviting, relaxing, clean and safe. We spent much time there around the pool and playing games around the table or the lounging area. When we were ready, the beach, it was just down the street. Less then 5 min. walk from the villa.  The open air construction was exactly what we hoped for. Having everything open after dark was no problem because its all fenced in and Kelvin kept watch all evening until day light.  The city is quaint and has all the conveniences: supermarket, small markets, restaurants, gelato, and souvenir shops. The town is walkable but its a minimum 15 min to get the the nearest edge. I would highly recommend taking a short trip to Cascada de Límon. Wow! So beautiful and worth the time.  China the housekeeper and cook was so easy to work with. She was very quiet and we didn't feel strange having her there. Her meals were so delicious that we didn't want to leave the villa to eat! We were 8 people and none of us voted to eat out. It as so relaxing to have lunch and dinner served in beautiful presentation right there.  Thanks for the magnificent memories! We will definitely be back and highly recommend it!

GREAT VACATION !

We traveled to Las Terrenas with our children, thier spouses (and sig. other) and our grandchildren. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The house was clean, beautiful and comfortable. The pool is wonderful and it's only a 2 minutes walk to the beach. We loved it! China was very helpful in keeping the house clean, and Isabelle helped with local information we needed and even called to check in with us to make sure we were having fun and to see if we needed help with anything...

MERVEILLEUX SEJOUR !

Nous avions déjà loué à Las Terrenas et nous sommes revenus en louant la villa Pachuco. Un grand bravo en tout point : villa très confortable, super fonctionnelle et très bien située. Nous y avons passé un séjour merveilleux. Piscine exquise, plage de rêve à proximité immédiate. A retenir l' accueil chaleureux, spontané et efficace d Isabelle, qui fait tout son possible pour faciliter le séjour des hôtes. Appréciable aussi Kevin le gardien de nuit très gentil et efficace, et China la femme de ménage. Un merveilleux séjour que nous recommandons très vivement !

Séjour très agréable et reposant

La villa Pachuco est une villa spacieuse, bien distribuée, et très propre. Nous y avons vécu 10 jours calmes et reposants. Sa situation à 200 m de la plage "Las Ballenas" est pratique, inutile de prendre la voiture pour se baigner dans une eau turquoise à 29 °. L'accueil d'Isabelle est remarquable, attentionné ses conseils sont précieux, c'est une belle rencontre. D'ailleurs toutes les personnes qui ont contribué à notre confort et bien être dans la villa sont compétentes, discrètes et serviables. Las Terrenas est un petit coin de paradis ou se mélangent la gaieté et la vitalité des Dominicains avec le savoir faire et le flegme Français...On s'y sent bien... on reviendra.
